Not a true outdoor sauna. Needs to be undercover or permanently have the cover on as you will be told after purchase. So far in less than 2 yrs. My roof leaked damaging the interior. My sauna was undercover and a slight drip of condensation in winter was enough to damage my unit. Turned out the roof was faulty and got replaced after 6 months… Read more

of being told it's fine and it's just my sweat on the roof.

Now, panels are falling off the exterior. Water gets in if i try to wash the outside through the door seal as it doesn't seal correctly. Cold air comes in through the door also.

All my walls are damaged from 1 time of me hoseing the exterior for dust. The unit tv panel overheats constantly shuting down my ipad.

They don't seal the unit obviously anywhere from outside to inside and bugs are constantly getting in. As big as 1 inch. They refuse to help or admit it's not sealed.

For the amount of money this cost, it should not need replacement by 2 years. Do not buy the outdoor ever.

Customer service is appalling with warranty. Being told my sweat was on the roof is just them trying to get out of fixing the faulty units.

They ignored my complaints about bugs, I asked how are they getting into my unit, they responded with the idea I leave the door open when I don't and that they don't cover damage done by ants chewing anything. Not once answered my question about how their getting in.

I've reached out to other outdoor clearlight owners and found a few with exactly the same issues.

I will be making a complaint to fair trading soon and regarding its so called outdoor classification. False advertising a unit for outdoor purpose that clearly isn't designed to be outdoor.

Can do no wrong – I have the sanctuary yoga 4 person sauna. AMAZING I LOVE IT. My housemates and I can sit side by side, facing each other or remove the chairs all together. SO much room for activities. It's so beautiful too, heats up really quickly, completely silent (unless I put music on through the speakers haha). Really turns up the lux at my house. Thank you clearlight. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend Show details

I would not purchase again – Slick marketing but not worth the price. Cost more than first quoted. Delivery took 3 x what they said - tracking number incorrect. Delivered indoor sauna in boxes out in the rain. Ridiculously heavy & required 4 people to move. Once installed sauna did not work. Parts delivered after installation. Fixed sauna but lights do not work, inside panel… Read more

does not match outside control panel, humming noise coming from one corner of the sauna and no response to emails - not going to investigate and fix. Mini-skip bin of rubbish left behind with made in China stickers all over the boxes. Big price does not match the service and the product. I would buy another sauna that is moderately priced as the extra price is just marketing. I would not recommend this product.

No Information about pricing etc on website, – Looking seriously at getting a sauna. Had read the technical specs. So clicked on get price button. No prices at all. In this section there is a blurb about respecting aboriginal elders past and imaginary, or some such rubbish. No prices given, no prices available anywhere. Perhaps one should contact aborigainal elders. Then reading the review by Saz, and the somewhat ordinary response by the CEO, I have gone elsewhere Show details

Love it! – Have had the sauna (3 person Sanctuary I think) for over 5 years and love it. We did a lot of research before buying it and it seemed far better than any others. It is well made, with a good finish, and we use it about 5 times a week. Recently the control panel was not working properly and the sales people were incredibly helpful and efficient at… Read more

diagnosing the issue and sending replacement parts. Also in following up on how things have turned out. We live in SA so fixed it ourselves, but instructions were very clear and it was pretty easy to fix. We appreciate the lifetime guarantee and certainly after over 5 years it was a smooth process.

Exceptional warranty and post sales support – I e had my sauna for more than 4 years, sauna has worked perfectly but I’ve had small issues even up until now. Manufacturer has been providing post sales support throughout, this company really loves its customers and backs it’s own product.  Show details

DO NOT BUY A CLEARLIGHT SAUNA – DO NOT BUY AN OUTDOOR SAUNA!!!!. Firstly, [name removed] would be the worst company sales person ever. I had to chase all the time for information. It took at least a month to get all the answers I needed to make an informed decision to buy. Worst sales team ever and no after sales follow up !! I waited 5 months for the sauna, despite being told… Read more

it would take 2-3 months. I chased often for an update with no reply. I had to call to get anyone to update me on delivery. When the sauna arrived, the external panels didn't fit, so they just used silicon on the outside to "fill in the gaps". This allows for ants and anything else to get in. I was told by the installer sometimes the panels fit and sometimes they don't. The electrical plug burnt when it was installed into the power socked due to 2 wires being mixed up during manufacturing. The plug was NOT to Australian standards and was certainly not for an external power point (verified by an external electrician I had to get in to repair the burnt plug). The external panels have small pin holes in the exterior cladding. I believe this occurs on some saunas and not others. They cant guarantee to avoid this. The front door doesn't close so a draft gets into the sauna. Again they cant rectify this issue The temperature control doesn't work, it moves with in 5 degrees up or down with in seconds so you never know what the temperature is. They don't acknowledge this issue. With the burnt cord, my electrician said Clearlight should test the internal items including the infra red panels. [name removed] the GM said the installer would do this with some special machine. All that happened was the installer said if the panels were warm then that's ok. Therefore the GM lied about any sort of machine?? Who does that?? When i advised about these issues, no one replied to my email so 2 weeks later and 3 or 4 attempts to get a reply. [name removed] the GM said she would replace the sauna however I would have to wait 3-4 months and would be sent photos to confirm these defects would not be on the next one. The CEO [name removed] advised none of these issues could be resolved with a new sauna so either I get an internal one with a cover for outside or or a refund. I have a big problem with a $14K sauna with this many defects that are never advised to a the consumer. The CEO [name removed] is an idiot, and doesn't know how to simply "reply" to an email (his excuse for not replying for almost a month!! Their ECO certification is definitely not genuine and they do not sell what they advise in their brochures. They don't tell you they use silicon on panels and their [name removed] the GM confirmed they are all made in China, and not in Australia as they advertise. They say you have a lifetime warranty however that is simply not true as they can not deliver what they advertise. I simply want the sauna that was advertised !!!

Exceptional built, quality and after sales services – I bought the 3 person Clearlight Sanctuary Saunas - True Full Spectrum infrared sauna back in July 2017. I have done a lot of research of different leading brands of infrared sauna after deciding to purchase this sauna based on their company background, quality of woods and materials, performance, warranty and overall health benefits. I… Read more ·  1

bought this sauna for around $11,500. My family were gym addicted and loved to use the traditional sauna at the gym for muscles and after long run.

Communication was brilliant from the start and we actually made some physical visit to couple beauty salons/gyms in Melbourne before deciding to buy these. Ordered was smooth and packaged delivered on time.

My husband and I built it together which took us about 2 hours which wasn’t bad. You can ask them for referral too if you’re not confident to build it yourself.

We have electrician installed a proper power point and cables with individual switch to support this sauna which cost us $750 back in 2017.

The woods are so beautiful as described in their information. Love the aroma of the natural wood. Installation was simple like assembling IKEA flat pack. Just mind you that the packing that needs to be disposed may cost money too.

Since I have installed solar panels this year, I realised that by starting this sauna will take upto 3kw to start with, like boiling a kettle of hot water. We used both heater on the sides as well. So for electricity cost, depends on your rate with your supplier and temperature that you set.

Overall, my family and I only use it one person at a time as we can lie down on the bench and just feeling so relax after each time we use. I personally love it for flushing our toxins inside my body even when I am not doing any exercise. Check out their health benefits from their web site and do your research too.

One very important thing is, their after sales service is honestly exceptional. Each time we have any questions about the performance or concerns over this sauna, their support team response right away as well as supplying components and professional electrician to fix it within a very good timeframe.

For health benefits, I personally find it very good as well as my 12 years old dog, she loves to come into the sauna with me for about 10 minutes. I love using the red therapeutic light during sauna even though they have a number of choices. I just find my skin is looking very good with the red light treatment.

The Bluetooth speakers are also brilliant.

I personally highly recommend this Clearlight Infrared Sauna.
