The marketing drives us all crazy. Other than putting up a flashing neon sign saying no more material jammed into our letterboxes, I am not sure what can be done. NO JUNK MAIL signs are ignored.

Disappointing to See Agents are able to Rent these Types of Properties – This is the type of property they were happy to rent out, The fixes should have occurred prior to us moving in. The reviews shared herein are current and accurate. April 2024 I decided it was time to leave despite the mould and stained carpets and the lack of trying to fix these issues 3 months in. April 2024 There are still no fixes on the bathroom vanity that we cannot use, the wobbly laundry door, or the toilet roll holder, to name a few. Apart from the below-stated issues stated, the non-urgent job seems to get fixed first with the shower screen, which is missing one of the sliders; no big deal;.
Jan 24, 2024 The reviews shared are current and accurate as of today and may change when fixes are locked in. I decided to rent from Coastal for work purposes and to travel. The apartment rented was a 2 bedroom, Coastal Harcourts was originally OK from the start. The only issue has been the slow response and lack of information regarding scheduling of trades prior to our move-in date. Some of the workmanship, or lack thereof, is truly outstanding. I am sure the owner of Coastal wouldn't put up with the level of service provided. You will see photos here that were not conveyed at the time of the inspection and promised these would be fixed before we moved in. Mould and water damage to the bedroom and bedside tables and Carpet stains. Mind you, it was hidden from us by the placement of the 2 beds. Electrical Work was Illegal when we moved in (No trip meter was present) The electrician had informed us after carrying out other works for power points.
The vanity in the bathroom has closed in draws from water, and there are no cupboards or shelves presently we are able to use.
No Toilet Roll Holder : ) Easily fixed (TBC) Laundry membrane is coming off. No Flyscreen to the window (not a big deal) (TBC) Outside Lights with no fitting that is present (not a big deal) There are numerous stains throughout the place that should have been steam cleaned prior to move-in. A Few Double Power point switches are not switching on (actual Light switch button is jammed). This is now fixed. It is mouldy and leaks water from the shower!
These are all easy fixes that we should see fixed, lets see how long this takes, i suppose its hard to believe that such a Professional Real Estate Brand would not convey these issues prior to me moving in. Elaborate or a simple oversight?
If the landlord cannot afford these fixes, they should sell up.
