Coleman Timbertop Geo

Pound for pound probably the best tent in its size range – Have had this tent for nearly 8 years and it has withstood pouring rain and gale force winds and when its hot the ventilation system makes a big difference even has a space for a fan ( optional extra) and plenty of storage pockets and if your tall its nice and high inside. The only thing is i wouldnt call it a six man tent two maybe four and front room storage area. But all in all great tent.
Massive room, very dry and cool – Great sized tent for 2 adults and 2 kids with all of our bags etc. Has great ventilation even in direct sun as there is many options to allow air in. Has great water resistance and has never let any rain in nor felt damp to touch on the inside. Only downside is the time It takes to set up and put down, however the fly can stay put with only a handful of the guide ropes staked down so I just do every corner and leave the rest, as you would only bother doing the whole lot in high winds and if it was going to be a long term camp site. Have used it countless times and it still looks as new with no visible damage. Size, ventilation, ability to stay dry under heavy rain Weight, time taken to erect.
great tent – I have had the tent for about 12 months now and have used it about 4 times. Its a great tent, strong, sturdy and very water proof. It is also very stable and can endure very strong winds and rain for that matter. Its easy to set up and pack away.I would recommend this tent for couples or a small family. Just about everything weight and size
Well designed and constructed tent! – We have had our Timbertop Geo for 1 year now and have spend around 9 months of the past year on the road with three different tent options. We have spend >50 nights in the tent and have been thoroughly pleased with its performance. It has been set up and put down at least 15 times and has no signs of wear at all. It has survived a couple of minor storms with no issues. We used the tent a lot in the top end and found it worked really nicely with and without the fly on. The ventilation options were fantastic at cooling the tent when things got hot. The tent allows for privacy without the fly on and is quite stable without the fly & guy ropes. Price, design, materials & workmanship, generous sized wheelie bag. Its a little on the larger and heavier size @ ~20kg, but unless you're tight for space its great.
