1 Not good  · Fail to deliver home delivery am , they canceled my delivery in the afternoon
1 James J.  · Do not sign up for Coles delivery. They never have time slots available even when its the middle of the day. Waste of your money. Go with Woolies delivery.
2 Denny devita  · I think they include a lot almost expired stuff on Coles delivery. If I hv 200 worth of grocery, I can't be possible finishing it in 1 days

Ordered on Tuesday for delivery on Friday between 3pm and 5pm. Delayed order after receiving a text message notifying me that it was to arrive in approximately 30 mins. The first call to them they told me it was going to arrive at 6 because they were having issues with their truck. I then called at 6 and they told me it was going to be 630. On the… Read more

third call they told me my order has been cancelled. If I could give them zero stars I definitely would!!

Very disappointed in Coles Gungahlin ACT, ordered a online Delivery for Thursday no show, then they tell me Friday, give them a call, very rude like they had a hard day and couldn’t tell me a delivery time as a truck was just next door, then hung up in my ear. We won’t be using Coles again.

An online order for a 'ham hock'. Order number 253246040. This is what I unpacked. It was more than 14 days ago that I purchased this so not entitled to a refund and Coles have dismissed my complaint. The cost is irrelevant but the store/staff responsible should be spoken too.

Bought product today (coles kichen real fast food chipotle cheese Guacamole & corn chips) pull plastic back to half way and the plastic wouldn't come off. I pull until it rip off with all the biscuits flying everwhere. So I didnt get to consume most of the product, very disappointing. I will never repurchase it. Coles needs to do better. I pay a lot of money for organic bananas that are mostly rotten in a couple of days. They were good months ago. This week alone I've had to throw out maybe 10 bananas which were very black. $$$ 6.50 a kg.

Don't buy any electrical item from Coles – I bought Thomson 12L AirFryer from Coles and after 3 months here we are. Nothing works other than digital displays and lights. The warranty says to return it to the place of purchase, and it was 86 days; but Coles don't accept it. If they can't handle returns for electrical products (at least within 3 months), they shouldn’t sell them. I am… Read more

contacting the THOMSON AirFryer company and going through it, what a waste of time and money!

Update: THOMSON support team is far hilarious. They expect me to drive 20km and courier the air fryer at my expense.

Cancelled my over $600 online home delivery order today, WITHOUT A REASON! Refused to honour discounts and savings from the order in replacement order I needed to make, nor would they explain why they cancelled it either! Unbelievably POOR SERVICE!

I purchased Australian lamb ribs with sticky BBQ rub and after following the cooking instructions the meat was of revolting taste and flavour. It is obviously old lamb which is called mutton which is essentially cheap rubbish meat. I paid $16.50 for 750gms including the bones and it was the most expensive revolting meal I have had since I can't… Read more

remember. Now I can see why these despicable [Name Removed] are making so much profit by feeding the masses this inedible disgusting rubbish. I challenge Coles executives to cook this meal and feed it to their very own families and see if they can eat it all up. Cmon I dare you!

Bought this nice looking clock, in under a year ago, for $16, but on the second battery it stopped. Asked the staff about returning it for refund, but they weren't interested. So one day i decided to take it apart and source the problem, it turned out the contacts for the single AA battery weren't fastened to the plastic housing and the smaller +… Read more

one fell out. So i pulled the whole motor drive apart , plastic cogs and all, and discoved that the battery connections, were not attached to the clocks motor drive connection, so i soldered the battery stainless thin plate connectors to the clock connectors. Put it all back together, and its working like a dream ! So Coles should do a recall on this rubbish their selling and apologise and refund the price we paid. Hey Coles check out the products your supplying, and make shure that their not quick assembled rubbish, and unreliable. And don't ignore your valued customers. PS. WELL BELEIVE IT OR NOT THESE SAME CRUMMY CLOCKS ARE BACK ON THE STAND IN THE COLES SUPERMARKET AT YAMBA, JUST SHOWS YOU HOW CONCERNED THEY ARE AT THAT SHOP!! date 19 April 2026

Issues with Activation – Heritage and People's Choice Mastercard / Purchased from COLES I received a $100 Coles Mastercard (issued by Heritage and People's Choice Ltd) in July 2025. The card was declined everywhere. After calling support, I found out the card was never loaded with funds at the Coles Bentleigh register. Customer service number… Read more

I logged a formal case on 28/01/2026 and provided all photo evidence and mobile receipts. When I reached out to Coles for help, they showed no initiative to resolve the issue with their vendor, simply passing the buck. Very poor customer service from a major retailer. I have kept all email logs and am still waiting for the promised replacement. Shopping at Coles this morning and grabbed a quarter leg of ham as they were on special and noticed it was incorrectly priced so I thought I would test there it is free if it is over priced policy and informed the girl at the check out after which she went and checked that I was correct and then she tried to change the price at the check out. I… Read more

told her the policy is it is free so she got assistance and this old wench came over accusing me of all sorts of nonsense about sorting through products and trying to scam things for free, there were 3 Hams on the shelf and that was the first one I grabbed so I told her to stick it and left. But here is the thing I will never shop at over priced nasty Coles again, am now a converted Aldi shopper.

I have been a member of Coles Plus Saver ($7 per month) and Coles Plus ($19 per month) for over 12 months. This is what I think. Coles online always have stuff out of stock. And I had a consultant confirm that Coles online do not run an inventory system; so the App and website allow you to order and expect things that will never be delivered… Read more

because they never, ever had the stock in the first place at my local store. For example, once I paid $135 for an order and was charged $65 because everything was out of stock and I hate their substitutes; so I always turn them off - if I remember - If I do not remember then I get groceries I would never use or eat as I am a diabetic. SO even though I pay for free delivery I have to get in the car and go to Woolworths and do a shop. Coles Plus Saver and Coles Plus for me is a complete waste of time. So I am saving $27 per month and doing the grocery shopping the old fashioned way at the shop pushing a trolley- more community that way.

Wednesday morning (11/03/26) we had had the most incredible Coles delivery driver who came all the way from Melbourne to Ocean Grove at 7.30 in the morning. I couldn't praise him in any higher regard other than to say thank you. Driver name escaped me but his truck was 'Ophilia'. Thank you so much, and keep up the great work.

I purchased the Coles Coffee Beans (Strong Full Body Intense 10) and was extremely disappointed. The coffee lacks depth, flavour, and body, and produces almost no crema when extracted. The result is a watery, flat cup that doesn’t reflect the “intense” label at all. I would not recommend this product and won’t be purchasing it again. Show details

I have used this service for some time and it was usually OK but today I experienced the most ridiculous nonsense. Coles substituted a product that I… Read more

didn't want because it is full of chemical additives and with over four hours before the delivery I called them and asked for that product to be removed and a refund issued. After hanging on the phone to their Philippine call centre for nearly an hour they said it could not be done. I then said please cancel the whole order and was told to call back in two hours as the invoice had not yet been processed. Logic would indicate that an order could be cancelled before being processed but no,Coles don't seem to work that way! Do they think we have nothing better to do than take time out of our work day to resolve this stupidity? So it's goodbye Coles, hello Woolworths and the unwanted toxic product will go in the bin.

Follow-up  · Yes it was a first time issue. The delivery itself was OK as it usually is. The product was Indomie instant noodles which are full of nasty chemical additives and taste disgusting. I wanted Coles own brand noodles which are great.

Follow-up  · No further issues fortunately. I did give Coles another chance and so far all fine.

Well it's hot cross bun season and Coles have let the bunny down.. To save spending money on fruit in the bun is fine but the Fruitless buns also have a shortage of flavour and colour.. Inefficiency at its core for a hot cross bun.. might as well be a slice of bread with flavoured butter.. I'm not impressed with this version of hot sad bun.. Show details

Follow-up  · Well no response from Coles so I guess they don't give a shit about what they sell to the public .. nothing new then .. rip off their customers as often and as fast as they can ..

Very disappointing experience with Coles online shopping. I ordered an Oral-B 8-pack on a half-price promotion ($28.50), but it was substituted with only one 4-pack ($21) and I was charged for that item. This doesn’t match the original quantity or value — a fair replacement would have been two 4-packs to make up the 8 units at the promotional… Read more

price.

When I contacted support, I was told this is their substitution policy. However, when I asked for a refund, I was told I had to return the item in-store (15 minutes away) and then call support again. It already took me 30 minutes just to get through the first time.

This process is extremely inconvenient and unreasonable, especially when the issue was caused by the substitution.

In comparison, Woolworths has always provided fair substitutions that match quantity and value.

Based on this experience, I won’t be using Coles online shopping again.

Why have the so called Coles Jumbo Rolls shrunk so much. They are now more like dinner rolls. This has happened at two supermarkets in Tarneit and Hoppers Crossing. The manager at Hoppers said it’s because they have a new baker. ACCC should have a look at all Coles supermarkets and how they’re ripping off customers Show details
