Colgate Plax products do not carry an expiry date; however, the general shelf life of mouthwash is approximately three years from the date of manufacture (found on the base of the product). After this time it remains safe to use but may have a weaker flavour and not perform as effectively. No. Don't dilute the product at all. Water will decrease the effectiveness.Also, unlike Listerine, Colgate Plax won't burn your mouth.

I just swallowed a bit while I washed my mouth it was Colgate plax white should I be concerned also ? The product is Mexican and the liquid is blue, I’m not sure what it says in the back

Thanks for your question Rohit. We can confirm for you that there is no need to rinse with water after rinsing your mouth with Colgate Plax.

Can I eat or drink water directly after 30min mouth wash

You could try using them wooden sticks that them doctors use or buy some paddle pop sticks from the newsagents and rub your tongue with them or try spitting possibly in the sink

To be honest I never checked to see if Colgate plax range had any sugar contained in mouthwash - perhaps you could ring the Colgate hotline by calling directory assistance

Doubtful there are sugars as that would accelerate tooth decay and Colgate would have been busted by industry regulators a long time ago. If there is a sweetener, its more likely an artificial one. Mind you, you should be spitting out the mouthwash and not swallowing it so even if are sugars in the mouthwash the rise in blood sugar level should not be large.

More likely a case of delayed sugar absorption from something you consumed before hand? Then at roughly the same time you happened to use the mouthwash.
