speak to regarding the appointment change - they wrongly told me to call Essential Energy about it but the very pushy person then proceeded to encourage me to change providers and kept me on the phone for 25 minutes despite my protestations that I had little time to spare. Bear in mind I still thought I was speaking to a Red Energy representative who was for some reason (yes, I know!) informing me of a lower rate provider... I don't know how these things work these days...it seemed genuine and I agreed to the transfer. Long story but will cut short. On then ringing Essential Energy about the metre installation they told me no it's Red Energy who arrange that, I realised I had been totally duped by a mob called Connectwithus who had by now sent me a text about the highly contrived change of provider. I called Red Energy again, this time their right number and not the one Connectwithus had scammingly arranged to be the first to appear on a Google search. I explained the whole thing to a lovely actual RedEnergy personand successfully changed my metre exchange appointment. I then called back the false Red Energy number which I now realised belonged to the shysters Connectwithus and insisted they drop the energy provider change to Essential so that I could remain with Red Energy. Who needs all this time wasting trash when trying to make a simple appointment change?! BEWARE CONNECTWITHUS who have somehow managed to make their number come up on Google when you enter Red Energy in the search engine. Have learned a big lesson here. What an unnecessary rigmarole and how frustrating was this. You ought to be able to trust numbers for companies you ask for on Google. It goes without saying I DO NOT recommend Connectwithus and their shonky phone operators who clearly stand to benefit from their deceptions.
