Hi I got my cooler second hand and it has two lines after my daughter turned it off and I can’t seem to turn it back on
I have the same
My CM15HW runs for 2 minutes then shuts down with the empty tank light coming on yet there is no water in the drain, any help?
Sorry, never had any faults with mine and must admit I'd have to get it looked at if it did. Even though I'm an engineer by profession I know nothing about the actual systems in air conditioning - well not how to repair anyway. Sorry I couldn't help. I check mine regularly but it never needs to be emptied so I don't know where the water is going - there are no wet spots anywhere but it works very efficiently.
On a guess I'd say it would most likely be a faulty sensor so if you can get one I'd try that. That's just based on my experience in other areas where similar fault codes are shown which are obviously wrong as that fault isn't actually existent.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Is there a water tray or something inside the CM15HW and is there meant to be a hose part fitted as well, to the outlet where the water runs out?
i fitted a hose to the outlet as this avoids constantly emptiing the tray.
Thank you. Had thought there was meant to be a hose with the air con unit but I have since downloaded the manual which has clarified things for me.
Hello,
I bought a second hand Convair portable air conditioner (Model No-CM15RCS)
Trade Name-CLIMATE MASTER
It is working However no blower coming out at all from the exhaust behind.
seller told that how it is and that is how they used it.(No Hose,No window kit provided)
I want to make sure that is normal or is there any fault with it.Please advise
to my knowledge, this is not normal. you need to have the exhaust out the window. i have never seen one without the attachments.
This is absolute rubbish you've been told. Obviously portable air con works by producing cool air and blowing the hot air out the window attachment. If there's no air coming out the back there is a serious problem - If there was it would be hot air which would negate any effect the air con would have. Call the Manufacturers or their agents here so they can give you irrefutable evidence that this is NOT how it should be then take it back to where you bought it.
