Coredy

Great when it works – We purchased this from Amazon to replace an outdated Roomba. The price and list of functions were impressive and at first it worked well. It was nimble enough to get around the house, cleaned well and found it's dock reliably. 6 months later I contacted Coredy as it had stopped working and was flashing red, Coredy support was excellent and sent a detailed explanation on things to try including pulling the front off and cleaning it. This fixed the problem but now it intermittently runs backwards, doesn't clean and alarms. Coredy support once again was responsive and offered some advice. When asked to provide a video, the robot decided it was going to work, and it did for a fortnight before going back to running in reverse, it now also needs to be manually docked because it fails to do it itself. I've got no doubt if I contacted Coredy they would offer more solutions for this robot cleaner but I don't have the time nor patience to contact them every month when something else goes wrong. This is a good vacuum on paper, it's cheap but its unreliable. The whole idea of a robot vacuum is to set and forget but this one needs constant babysitting now.
