Coupette

Thought we'd try something new and this place is very new. Only open a week or so in a ground floor corner of the Hannah Hotel, situated on what was formerly a tennis court! Our expectations were surpassed. Food prices are reasonable but the quality is surprisingly good. Certainly the equal of most "quality" Melbourne restaurants. Wine is a little expensive. The staff were extremely helpful, well informed and readily available. The fitout is dominated by marble, particularly attractive around the central bar. The only criticism I have is access both to the Bistro and to the toilets. It either involves steps or using the staff assisted open elevator.
