Worst Juicer – The worst juicer ever, nothing clicks in as it is supposed to do, very frustrating!

Design flaw – Worked well the first few times then stopped turning. Pulled it apart and the planetary gear drive is very small and all the teeth have sheared off. You can buy the motor out of china for $28 or the entire base unit in Australia for $220 looks like it's going in the bin.

Machine broke after just two weeks of use – After only two weeks of very moderate use the small plastic piece behind the outlet broke off when gently hand cleaning the machine and now I have a leaky machine that is rendered useless because of this part. I really wanted to like this machine because the concept and idea is a good one and I hope Conway takes the time to actually listen to… Read more

reviews and upgrade the machines parts so they last longer through the rigors of normal juicing. Because of a broken machine in less than a couple weeks I can't recommend this item to others, but try it out for yourself and see if this machine lasts longer for you and if not it will look good as a paper weight in your kitchen. It may and it should last longer for you than it did for me, but the feel and finish and after moderate use of this machine

it surely doesn't seem like it will last anywhere near there 7 year warranty.

Pros: *Easy clean up *When working makes good juice *Space saver in the kitchen and looks good from a far *Having pulp in the juice is a plus

Cons * Expensive for what you get. Priced Very High at $399.99+tax (and juicepresso says that the platinum edition is a $600 value) which is essentially a plastic juicer and a very high price when compared to other cold press juicers and high end juicers out there. I have since compared the price since I now need a new juicer because this one broke in less than 2 weeks *Gets easily clogged even when you follow their instructions to the tee on cutting vegetables *Many of the parts are plastic and plastic is ok and thats what many manufactures use but plastic that feels cheap and flimsy is still a No No

Very disappointed – Got this some years ago and have not used it much. Not used for months on end for example.Loud noise today when put carrot in.Strainer has broken along a join and also and 2 pieces have also broken off the wheel in the drum.Replacement parts cost $132.This is simply not good enough for a $500 juicer which has hardly been used.

I waste time trying to disassemble after juicing – I would be really happy with the juicepresso if I didn't have regular problems of removing the lip of the hopper, because of this I would not recommend this product as it is a real fuss. I find that although I cut celery and carrots finely the plug often is pushed open ( this is juicing for only one person) and so fiber causes blockage which… Read more

causes fiber to get caught, and it's all hit and misss, as to whether I am going to have a real job in getting the lid of the hopper to unscrew. Grrrrr

Nice juicer for MOST fruits and vegetables – I'm happy with this juicer. So far it has worked fine with peeled oranges, carrot, apples, rock melon, ginger, cucumber, kiwi. It has got stuck a couple of times when trying to juice fibrous fruits/veggies like celery and mint leaves. Cleaning the filter is a bit tedious as the small pores are hard to clean, but after a couple of minutes of… Read more ·  1

cleaning with provided brush is all good. It is not very noisy. The motor is quite strong, I have loaded carrot continuously and it keeps juicing alright. Efficient, inexpensive

Read this review! – I always look at reviews, and hardly write them up. I've had my juicer since 16/7/13. I know this because I filled out an on line servey to DOUBLE MY WARRENTY WARRENTY : "Thank you for registering your Juicepresso, and also taking the time to fill out our questionairre! Your Juicepresso purchased at Slowjuicer on 7/16/2013 has been given… Read more

a 14 year warranty on the motor and 4 year warranty parts and labour!"

I haven't had to use it. It works perfect

JUICING :

-Great for soft and hard. I juice oranges, apples, carrots, beetroot, celery, parsley, pineapple, ginger etc.

-Celery gets a bit stringy to clean out, not a problem, just a lot different to carrot pulp.

-Orange pulp goes into to juice. (I think that's a positive, gives you the option to sieve)

-I sieve all my juices to make then totally smooth, a little annoying but it just habbit now.

CLEANING :

-Pour water through juicer before pulling apart.

-The strainer is a little fiddaly to clean, much easier than other juicers (orange is the hardest)

Hope this has been helpful. Bright juice with almost no foam. Expensive but worth it.

Returned to buy another Oscar NEO – I bought this juicer so I could juice while I was at work, I have a Oscar NEO 1000 at home and had been using a breville centrifugal juicer at work. After reading the reviews and watching the you tube video where it shows this is faster, easier to clean and produces more juice I was sold. To my disappointment this juicer, is terrible compared to… Read more

the Oscar NEO, firstly the increase in juice is directly related to the amount of pulp in the juice, my daughter will not drink from this juicer unless it is strained. Its horrible having juice full of pulp and I dont pay $400 to have to put it through a strainer. The worse in carrots.

The motor slows right down when you put a whole carrot in, I can feed a whole (skinny) carrot in the Oscar no problems.

The outlet for the pulp will always block when you put celery in, requiring me to remove and pull apart the machine to unblock it, the only way to avoid this is to cut your celery into one inch pieces (please, who wants to do that) and event then it still will block half the chute, leaving even more pulp to go through into the juice.

It does leafy vegetables really well.

It is as fiddly to clean as a breville, I can disassemble, clean and reassemble the Oscar in 55 seconds (ive timed it) not including the containers, with Juicepresso it was about 1min 45 seconds and that includes scrubbing furiously at the larger style mesh, it also leaves lots of mess left in the juicer which blocks the drain when im cleaning up (I know its pedantic).

Its noisy compared to the Oscar NEO.

I have just purchased a second NEO from appliance online for $457 and the first was bought from David Jones on special for $450. it does leafy vegetables well. It takes up little room on the bench Way too much pulp in Juice, just a slow to feed as my Oscar horizontal juicer, difficult to clean and blocks when juicing celery

Expensive and Unreliable – I was really excited about this product right up until I actually bought one... I initially bought a Breville but it broke down after I used it twice. The Coway Juicepresso was recommended to me (clearly by someone who had never used one more than once) and I watched the online video and I did my research and I was excited about it. First use… Read more

went well, pulp was not as dry as I expected but I could live with that, no big deal right? No big deal unless you plan on using it more than once. I never got the chance to use it a second time because it wouldn't turn on at all, it was as though no power was getting through to it and it made no sound or movement whatsoever.

All in all, I think the idea of it is brilliant, far better than the conventional way of juicing and a lot less noisy and messy, the trouble is the technology obviously hasn't been refined yet, or at least not in this particular make and model (to the best of my knowledge no-one else is making these). I'll give them a couple of years to iron out the problems and I will try again. In the history of everything that works there was a time when it didn't and I hope they keep trying but it isn't there yet. Easy to clean, aesthetically very appealing, a great idea in theory. Only worked once then promptly died

Lots of difficulties – We find the machine clogs up with fibre very easily and is difficult to clean particularly with celery. My wife finds it hard to take apart and cannot use when I am away. I find it hard to unscrew the top and spend a long time digging out fibrous bits from the waste tube. Also there is a lot of pulp left in the juice. We mainly use it for vegetables.

Value & quality for money – After a lot of online research I bought the Coway Juicepresso from Appliances Online. It is a good cold press juicer , which means it 'mashes the fruit & veg rather than 'chop & slice. This in turn preserves the nutrients & enzymes. The machine is a vertical(as apposed to the horizonal of the mainstream cold press machines= an advantage if you… Read more

have small bench top space. Also means it can be kapt on the counter top for convenience)Tho' Cold press machines are more expensive= Range $400- $1,000+) They are are a better option health wise & practicality, as Juices made in this way not only retain their'Living' nutrients longer, but can be made up & stored in Glass jars in fridge for 24hrs. Reliable=Energy efficient =Price effective= Practical=Solid quality strong warranty.

Great bench top juicer! – This juicer is a cold press juicer so it works a little different to the conventional home juicers. It presses and crushes the fruit or vegetables as opposed to grinding and cutting at high rpm's. It is a lot quieter and uses a lot less electricity. Power consumption at only 150w. Very compact in size and design, small footprint on bench top. The… Read more

fact that it is quite compact enables you to leave it out on your bench top. No need pack it away where it eventually just ends up taking storage space in your cupboard. Easy to install and assemble. Not the easiest to clean but certainly not difficult. Have been using it every day for a week now. It claims to reduce the enzymes, vitamins and minerals that are lost and burnt with the conventional juicers. I'm no expert so I can't comment. But what I can say, the juice produced has minimal foam and separation just like the promotional video shows. Great 7 year warranty on motor and 2 years on parts and labour. Only gripe is that it is pretty expensive at $470. Produces great juice, small and compact design, quiet and uses less power, easy to assemble. Expensive!! Although not difficult but can be a little fidgety to clean.

Generally great - not as easy to clean as I'd hoped, but better than some – Having bought a juicer in the past that was so hard to clean we never used it I was very aware of the need this time around to buy something that was as easy to clean as possible. This model is certainly easier than my last model, but it is still time-consuming as there are a few bits and pieces, and for some reason it's tricky to put it all back… Read more ·  3

Superb, rich, flavoursome juice – We replaced our old high speed juicer with the Coway JuicePresso last week. Luckily, I found this juicer before we bought another high speed unit. The juice is just amazing compared with that from the high speed juicer. It is richer in flavour, has a much deeper colour, better consistency and doesn't separate into a watery layer. You can… Read more

taste every type of fruit you add.

The pulp waste is dry, reflecting the efficiency of the juice extraction process. Cutting the fruit a bit smaller is no problem when you are looking forward to the quality of juice that will be coming from it.

As for the unit itself, it is much quieter (running at 40 rpm), has a smaller footprint on the bench and looks stylish. It appears to be made from sturdy materials and the length of the warranty shows that the manufacturer is confident that their product will last.

It is easy to clean and reassemble, and has no sharp graters or blades to cut yourself on.

It might cost a bit more than the others, but soon pays for itself with the quality of juice you get from it.

Highly recommended. Excellent juice, quiet, safe, easy to clean

A juicer that goes beyond juicing – I've used juicers for years - a Sunbeam Juice Fountain for the past few years. Quick and easy - just chuck apples straight down the chute. I had always taken the oxidation from the hi-speed grating and the wet pulp as normal. You know how the juice goes brown quickly - that's oxidation. The JuicePresso crushes the fruit/veg at a slow speed - so… Read more

no oxidation and the yield is amazing - the pulp is the driest I have experienced. The blurb says that the nutrition content increases 4-fold over conventional juicing.

Juice tastes amazing - and knowing that it has more nutrients is just a bonus. A glass of apple juice in the fridge takes AGES to turn brown, as opposed to 10-15 minutes from the Sunbeam.

No large chute though - you have to cut your f&v smaller. But I reckon an extra minute or so to get better yield and nutrition is well worth it - even more so when buying organics. Taste and yield are excellent - 4 x nutrition content compared to spin-type juicers Fruits and veggies need to be cut smaller - takes slightly longer

Great juicer, I use it everyday – I did a lot of online research prior to purchase & decided to spend the extra money and purchase a slow speed juicer rather than the cheaper more common high speed ones. I am glad I did as it performs much better in all aspects than the high speed ones my friends have. I make a large batch of juice for the family in the morning and we even take… Read more ·  1

it with us to work/school and kept in the fridge still tastes great 6 hours later.

I will soon be changing my house over to standalone solar electricity and this is one appliance which can stay due to it's low power consumption. Makes great juice from almost all fruit & vegies. Reasonably easy to clean, good manual & warranty period. Quality of workmanship looks good including power cable & plug. Sits neatly on kitchen bench and uses a lot less energy than high speed juicers. Ohh also gives more juice for less fruit/ veg as the pulp comes out so much drier The machine is a little noisier than I had expected but far quieter than high speed juicers & takes a little longer to prepare fruit (cut into smaller pieces) but it is worth it.

Two months later and we use it every day! – Our new juicer looks very nice on our bench. It is used every day and I feel better for it already. For convenience, we use cold (pre-cut the night before) slices of veggies and fruit - When we've finished juicing, it's very easy to disassemble and plunge into a sink of soapy water. There are no sharp attachments and it is convenient to… Read more

use. Sometimes, if we use lots of carrots and celery, we choose to still strain the juice to make sure it is not pulpy. (This is no big deal). We find that wheat grass needs to be finely chopped (less than 5 mm) or it gets stuck in the waste chute.

Small slices of beetroot and ginger are not a problem to juice either. Because it is not a big unit, we even took it away on holiday with us. I guess we are used to having it as part of a healthy breakfast. For the money, we are impressed at the ease of use, assembly and the quality of the juice. Beats buying the sugary stuff.

Our friend have bought one also. The size and look of the machine

Quiet and compact – This juicer is quiet and compact but so far it hasn't been removing all the pulp from my fruit, vegetables and nuts. I tried a carrot, celery, apple and ginger combo today and I found I was chewing my drink. Might need to call the company as this might be a defect?? Quiet operation, compact, looks good Doesn't extract the pulp properly

Perfect for our family – I would recommend this juicer for anyone with a small kitchen. It has a small footprint and it looks better than any other juicer currently on the market so you can keep it on the benchtop all the time. juicer. Compared to our old centrifugal juicer, this is incredibly quiet. We get our 4 year old son to feed the fruit and veges through every morning while we stand around having a chat - it's just great that it's so quiet. The process of juicing is so visible as well which is really exciting for our son and he drinks juices never thought possible! The parts are really solid although the strainer takes a bit of scrubbing with the toothbrush that comes with it. The fine perforations are a tradeoff for quality juice but with a bit more washing. I like how I can put most of our jugs under the unit because it's nice and tall - very clever. funky look, small footprint screen takes a bit of cleaning
