Cub Cadet Ride-On Mowers 1500 SLT1554

Solved The Deck Belt Problem – Started out as a domestic user - took on a commercial mowing business. My Cub Cadet 54 inch has always run well except for throwing the cutting deck belt. Finally a mechanic suggested the pulleys were not in line (three blade model). Found the tensioning pulley was 1/4" out of alignment. Fixed by machining off the 1/4" and adding a 1/4" block to allow the locating bolt to still screw in to the original position. Problem solved - no more throwing the belt and can engage the PTO in any height setting,
