Terrible Rice Cooker Experience: Absolutely Not Recommended – This is the worst rice cooker of my life. I ordered this model from CUCKOO Australia. I am Korean, and I know very well how to cook rice. When I open the lid of the rice cooker, water pours out like a waterfall. And when I cook rice, it becomes hard in less than an hour, and after five hours, it becomes very hard. After a day, I can unwillingly eat something like nurungji (scorched rice), which is not what I want. So I contacted them and showed them the photos and videos I attached, but they replied that this is a common phenomenon in multi-cookers and that it is not optimized solely for cooking rice.

So I contacted CUCKOO Korea and showed them the same photos and videos. They responded that it is not normal for water to fall out like that and that I should have the product checked for defects. I have received no action from CUCKOO Australia, and they no longer respond. I have used another CUCKOO multi-cooker model for five years before this, and contrary to their explanation, I have never experienced such a phenomenon. CUCKOO service in Australia is the worst. I absolutely do not recommend this product.
