Cybex LEMO Chair

A wonderful hightchair – Initially we bought the Lemo highchair for our 5yo son at the dinner table. Now he loves sitting on it not only during meal times but also drawing handcrafting and playing board games. It is such an elegant minimalistic looking chair that fits nicely in our house, unlike many other cartoon-themed kid furniture which I am personally not very fond of aesthetically. When our youngest was born we bought a second Lemo chair with the baby set and the food tray, as well as the baby bouncer which goes onto the chair frame to form a newborn chair. We have been using it for the last few months and absolutely love it. The bouncer part has three reclining positions. At the flattest position bub can nap comfortably in there, and at the most upright position he can easily see people in the surroundings at his eye level, which has given him a sense of security. The rear legs of the chair are equipped with built-in wheels for easy moving around on the wooden floor if needed. This way I often bring him to the kitchen while I cook or the laundry room when I fold up clothes. Now bub is 6mo and just learning to sit up. We are looking forward to using the Lemo chair with the baby set as the feeding place for bub. The baby set looks spacious enough to accommodate a toddler up to 3 years old. After that I believe he will be old enough to use the chair without the baby set and climb up and down the chair himself using the height-adjustable footrest. My only small complaint is that the tray has a matte surface finish, while easy to clean, makes it impossible for suction-based baby plates/bowls to stick on it. Overall I think the Lemo is a wonderful high chair as it is sturdy, versatile and easy to keep clean. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to invest in a highchair capable of growing with a child from infancy to early school age.

What a chair! – We looked everywhere to find a high chair that wasnt bulky but still safe and sturdy. We came across the lemo and loved the look as well as all the safety features. It looks light and modern but is sturdy and stable enough to withstand a very active baby. We have been using it for over a month and love it. The tray can be taken on and off so the baby often joins us at our dinner table so we can all eat together. Meals are such a special time to spend together but always very messy. The finish on the chair makes it so easy to clean. Im looking forward to her growing and continuing to use this lovely piece of furniture as its all adjustable and so easy to do so.

Love the flexibility of this baby chair – We have used this chair from the first day we brought our baby home. I intended to get a bouncer for my daughter as I have lots of happy snaps from my own childhood bouncing away. I ended up opting for the LEMO by Cybex and bought the bouncer and also the chair base which allows us to use this as a newborn chair, bouncer, highchair, kids chair and apparently for adults too (though probably won't keep it that long!).

My daughter is only 10 weeks old so we haven't yet used it as bouncer or highchair but we have used this every single day as a newborn chair. The seat fixes on to the base and elevates my daughter up off the floor to table height (great as we have a dog) - we put her in this so she can watch us while we are cooking in kitchen, sit with us when we have breakfast and anytime we want to get her involved.

While we haven't used the bouncer base, it seems to have a good amount of bounce and looks like it will provide enough movement for my daughter, comparable to a Baby Bjorn. With highchair I bought the seat and the table both made from a hard, lightly textured plastic. I like that the streamlined design looks like it will be easier to wipe and remove food.

In terms of safety Cybex also make carseats and prams. The seat attachment has a 3 point harness which is more than other dedicated bouncers on the market but important when using at chair height.

I'm really happy with this purchase. I wanted to avoid buying lots of different products that would only be used for a short period of time, particularly as we don't have a heap of storage space at our house. I love the multiple uses of this product and the fact we will likely use this every day for the next 3 or more years!
