Cyclone Professional Telescopic Ratchet Bypass Lopper

So good my daughter took them with her when she moved out – They work well. Need regular sharpening to work most efficiently. Take care you cut straight to avoid bending handle where it joins cutting blade.

Don't do it! – This has several screws and bolts that come loose, fall off and get lost in the under growth over time. It is also selective in what it cuts, often times I have to cut three or four times to cut through certain branches.

Professional?? :( – This product was loose and rickety from the first use. After tightening bolts etc, little change. The rachet system repeatedly failed to engage. These loppers appear to be a cheap, and untested, copy of a decent pair of rachet loppers... but without the cheap (and therefore "buyer beware") price. This product is unfit for domestic use, let alone Professional use.

Unreliable and malfunctioning Cyclone Telescopic Ratchet Bypass Lopper – My original cheap Aldi telescopic ratchet lopper finally broke after many years of use. I thought I would replace it with a better lopper and chose the Cyclone Telescopic Ratchet Bypass Lopper. I bought the first one from Bunnings on 27 July 2019. I used it a few times and found the ratchet mechanism was useless and although it was supposed to have a 45mm cutting capacity, it did not. I only used it occassionally and finally gave up in January 2020. Bunnings replaced the lopper on 13 January. Yesterday (8/2/2020) was only the second time I used it. Today the ratchet mechanism feel apart. Although Cyclone provide a "Lifetime Guarantee" on the product tag, I really do not have the time to keep going back to Bunnings to replace it with another. Today it is going back for good and I will buy a different brand. I recommend against purchasing this lopper but if you still do - good luck
