Great product very happy

After doing home work I purchased this router, main reason nbn ready this router is in a room seperate from the house i set this router high enough to to over come a fridge and microwave these items can cause interference, I also purchase a dlink repeater model ac1750 reason this is in the main room of the house the reason the router has to pass through a double brick wall then two single brick walls. The speed is super fast the repeater has three bars and speed test through ookla any time of the day and night runs of the dial I can honestly give this router and the repeater 10 out of 10 Show details

Price indicated good router, hmm no

Well it works alright, the minute to load QOS and Port Forward pages is a pain, i am on wired gigabit connection and have a beast PC. Using Win10 on M2.0 Ultra.
The problem is i can't work out how to set up static IP's for the home PC's i am sick of changing the port forwarding every day as the local IP's change. I don't even think it can do it????

Also multiplayer gaming online with the computers on this same network can't see each other, works on the $10 junk modem the ISP gave us.

Probably buy another router. Show details

Hardly needs resetting

I was a big fan of Netgear over the years, and 3 years ago I purchased a D7000 Modem/Router. I ended up having it replaced twice, before buying this DLink unit. Easy to setup, though the range is not quite as good as the D7000. The massive plus, is devices son't disappear off the network, thus requiring a reset. This unit has very little downtime, and copes with 2 x Xboxes, Netflix, Amazon, Kayo etc. If you are looking for a good reliable unit, I highly recommend this unit. My only gripe is I have to put in a captcha everytime I access the Admin side.
