This is fantastic for me – I am not very good with technology, but after few hours set up, yes, I am not good with set up. At the beginning, plugged in the modem router with all the wire as the instructions, it works good on signal with 2.4 & 5G, but I don't know how to filled up the details on the management page, so I rang to the hotline, I got Winnie to help me and finally, it connect to the internet. Frequent wifi drop out – I'm not convinced that my new VR2100 is reliable enough. The signal strength seems weak and I frequently lose connectivity with my computer, Google Chrome and my smart tv. simple time based parental controls are an absolute nightmare – Seems to mostly work but simple time based parental controls are an absolute nightmare. I've searched through the manual, all the forums and discussed with staff. The VR2100 is completely different to the last 4 TP-Link routers I've had. woods now that I managed a connection, but it soon became obvious that the connection was not stable, I had my ISP run every diagnostic test and maintenance check they could think of, but turns out the daily connection issues we suffer with are due to this modem and can only sometimes be fixed by a full reset of the device. Considering the price of this modem, I expected a much better quality product.

Overall the product works well, though I have had intermittent connection issues. However, after trying all the troubleshooting I could on my own, after 20 mins with Lauren over the phone everything worked perfectly and I've had no issues since. Lauren was patient and effective even through difficulties on my end.
I switched providers for my internet & after 1&1/2hr on phone with provider they could not help me get my internet connected. Great technical support to configure new VR2100 – On our internet providers advice, I purchased the router from JB's. The internet provider couldn't help with setup and advised me to call TP-Link which I did. Luna Lu listened well, her service was friendly, patient, and methodical.
