The motor broke down in the first 2 years of its life. Daikin wanted to charge excessively just to repair it and did not want to cover it under warranty. Secondly, the neighbours complained about the noise level. I tried to call Daikin for help, but it's impossible to get through to them and they won't respond to email either or their online… Read more

form. They have zero customer service. I am so disappointed that there is no way of reducing the noise. I can't cool or heat my house at night at all as the neighbours constantly complain about the noise level. They should never be allowed to design units which are so noisy. cold in Cockatoo Valley SA and a number of other pathetic excuses! After months of testing and refusals from Daikin to accept there was an issue with the unit my installer ripped out the 4 month old Daikin Unit & replaced it with a Fujitsu 25kw system at their cost, wow what a difference we now have to run it on low otherwise it is too hot! In short any choice would be better than Daikin! But I give Fujitsu 5 Stars & Williams Refrigeration the highest possible recommendation.
