Heaven on earth with Daikin – We had Daikin air conditioning installed throughout our home and it is just wonderful. We are now in our second year and the comfort is great. You can adjust the fan speed so you have quiet control and sleep without noise. It has made Summer much more bearable and in Winter you have instant heat when you arrive home. Continually ices up and stops working – We got our new unit installed 2 months ago and we hate it. We spent over $13k wanting the best we could get but it is certainly not the best - the 10 year old system we had worked heaps better. Only happens when it's under 6 degrees. Therefore when you really need it work.

Not a bad product as long as it keeps working. Daikin support is terrible – Our outside compressor is icing up and Daikin support has given us the run around for 3 months (!). They have replaced part after part but will not replace the whole unit. We have now gone through a whole winter with no heating. Now I've called Daikin again and they don't have any record of the last three months of ongoing calls and repairs(!!)… Read more

Not good enough on warranty support by far Daikin.

Daikin and Actron are the two top tier ducted reverse cycle units. Daikin's units are pretty good but their level of service means that Daikin is a poor overall choice. Save yourself the headaches and buy an Actron instead.
