Horrible experience - biggest mistake of my life. Never go there. I was told my 6 month old puppy needed the leptospirosis vaccine. I'm very wary of vaccines because of what goes into them. My puppy vomited in the car on our way home. I knew this was because of the vaccine. Reading about it on the web, I've come to know that there have been adverse reactions in dogs, including the death of one dog. My puppy is only 6 months old, so thank goodness there were no other serious reactions. Please people, don't be fooled into believing the vet. I wasn't in favour of this but the thing was just forced on me. My puppy was also given humongous amounts of liver treats, something he isn't used to. To get him on the weighing scale, she scattered liver treats on it!! When I asked the nurse to trim his nails, she told me she couldn't do it because my puppy was excited (which puppy isn't) and to walk him on concrete instead - which educated person would tell you this. The place is also not very hygienic. I give them a 0, rating-wise.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Lairs, underskilled and always extra fees! – Tired to over charge me extra $300 then quote given in previous consultations, happened again with x-rays during separate visit. Pet history was covered during consultation and as discussed with the vet, blood tests and vaccinations were not necessary. They still added fees to my qoute anyway. Funny how they always 'accidentally' over charge and never undercharged.
Got told a bunch of nonsense from these terrible people. When I arrived to drop off my cat for her scheduled dental clean they immediately told me that the price is now an extra $300 for extractions! I explained that during my consultation l was told that once they clean my cats teeth, only then they will be able to determine if she needs any extractions. The vet just kept repeating herself like a broken record saying it will cost extra money....it will cost extra $300!
I went ahead with the appointment as its a huge stress on my precious kitty, and I'm sure they new this to pressure me for extra money. Absaloutly discussting attitude!
Later I get a call from vet saying there was a complication, my cat has bruising from needles, they couldn't find viens and cant do procedure. ABSALOUTLY HOPELESS VET!
Veins need to heal 3 weeks before they can try again. Will refund me my money as they already made me pay upfront. When I picked up my cat she looked like she came from the butchers! They shaved 5-6cm on each leg AND on the inner AND outer sides of both back legs. In total 6 places! Absaloutly incompetent people.
As you can imagine, they tried to get me out of there as quickly as possible. I asked if I can see vet as previously vet saw me after her x-rays, they said only if you want to.
My cats legs were all bloodied and bruised. They gave me a USED tube of cream with a tiny amount cream left inside to soothe her bruising and razor burns (SEE PHOTOS), there was only enough for one time use, couldn't even give me a brand new tube.
It was then explained that she had petite veins and they needed to order podiatrist needles, so they were not using correct needles to begin with YEAH?
She later got a bad skin infection on her back leg. The skin was red raw. I had to take her to another vet because I wasn't going to take another risk with this vet, they can't even find a vien, but charge like their rocket engineers, What-a-joke!
Ending up costing me an extra $200 for consult, antibiotics and cream from another vet.
By the way her teeth clean from another vet was half price $700 and thses thevies quoted me $1,200!
