Dash Rapid Egg Cooker

Simple and Effective – It doesn't get more simpler than this. You stick some water on a hot plate put your eggs in put the lid on press the button and away you go. I tried a well known "aussie" brand prior to this and the poached eggs truned out like eggs fried in water, so I was desperate to find something that actually worked . I found this and was lucky I had a 1000w voltage converter and in the long run I probably saved $40.00 , but if you don't have a converter than you can buy the Dash at this link .

Converters cost around $44.00 to $69.00 depending on your wattage, they are a good edition to the kitchen allowing you to buy products that come from overseas.
Personally I prefer the Amazon route but either way this product is not cheap.

I tried this with 2 eggs, soft boiled and found they were borderline medium , so to be honest just put less water in and this will reduce the cooking time. Same with the poached eggs. I pulled these out about 30 seconds to a minute before they were due to be finished, and for me they were perfect. I don't know much about the brand but it seems well known in the USA . This is probably the fastest egg cooker on the market but still it will take you around 5 minutes to do your eggs. Results for me were more than satisfactory and you can do an omelette in this as well, that is, a small fat omelette, not my cup of tea though. Highly recommended if you are fussy about your eggs and will cook tthem to perfection, my only gripe is the poaching trays, can someone change the shape of these and make them a little deeper?
