I attended a home open recently that had no photos on the website and when I got to the Home open the residence was much worse than I expected, in fact a complete mess. Not only was a tiny but also very rundown and dilapidated. I now see why the photos were not included and think this is a gross misrepresentation. I will not be dealing with Davey Real Estate, Padbury ever again.

Worst experience in WA – TENANTS BEWARE. incompetent receptionist who didn't request for a key return form to be signed - left the property manager chasing for unreturned fobs/keys. Unprofessional, difficult and downright rude. Never again will we lease through this company - renters steer clear.

10/10 – This is our second time renting through Davey in Padbury and the experience is as good as the first time. Agents are helpful when needed, but never overbearing. Friendly and inspections are a breeze!! 10/10

Untrustworthy – We purchased a property through this real estate, relocating from NSW to WA. Being interstate we were unable to physically view the property ourselves and had a third party do this on our behalf. agent was related to the sellers. We presented a reasonable offer and were advised that the sellers ‘really wanted to sell to us, being a young family’ but they wanted an extra $10K. We agreed and were excited for the move. When we arrived at the property we found that there were lots of issues that had not been disclosed! Firstly, the floating floors in the secondary bedrooms had been installed by an amateur and moved under your feet. Electrical upgrades, such as installation of additional power points and lighting, were also done incorrectly and unprofessionally. The original carpet in the main bedroom and front living area was disintegrating, and one bedroom smelt like stale animal urine. The main bathroom renovation was an absolute joke and very obviously a DIY job. We have since had various professionals attend the property and advise that they have never seen a renovation completed so terribly, confirming that it was definitely not professionally renovated. Also the kitchen and pantry were covered in food mess, appearing to not have been cleaned at all. Based on our experience I wouldn’t recommend this real estate to anyone as I don’t believe they are honest and trustworthy.

Mold on our carpet for over 6 months – Avoid this company at all costs!! Our babies room had a water leak that they refused to fix, however they were happy to charge us Inflated rent! When it came time to get our bond back, they tried to bully us into paying unreasonable amounts.

Just walk out – End of lease inspections are a cash grab. Just walk out rather than trying in vain to get your bond back. You never will and if you spend money or time trying to do the right thing it will make no difference to them.

Don't Rent Or Let Davey Realestate Manage Your Property - No Star!!!!!! – I was renting a property from Davey Real estate and only a few months in I found water damage and mould to the master bedroom. I alerted the real estate agent as mould is detrimental to your health and they were in no rush to get it sorted and removed. & mould to the extent I had to throw it in the bin without compensation or help to remove it, keeping in mind I was staying in an apartment, being only 5,2 with no help! Following this incident I experienced medical issues due to being exposed to mould with property manager showing no care.

They eventually had someone rip up the mould-infested carpet and I was left with a concrete floor with nails sticking up out of the floor. They failed to remove the carpet & it was left in my apartment store. The following day I asked the property manager if I could through it out, to be told if I do I would be liable for the cost of a new one. She advised me to put it in my storage shed & will deal with down the track, this never occurred!! This all went on for 9 months with no compensation bar a mere $20 per week reduction… (This was not an agreed amount).

Another incident whilst I was renting the property was when the real estate agent locked a random cat inside my property where it laid feces inside & scratched my expensive leather lounge. When I advised the property manager of what happen, she could only reply with a pathetic “it came in when I went out to the balcony & couldn’t locate it after entry”. Keeping in mind the property condition has no pets allowed. No apologies, no compensation for damages, just a young girl laughing & claiming it was an accident.

Once I gave my intent to leave this company they falsely advertised the property online with misleading photos of another property. I advised the company of the fault to be told it was the marketing teams mistake. 2 weeks later they updated the property with misleading photos again! At the stage the floor to main bedroom was still not repaired.

The real estate agent is very poor at communicating I even had the Director [name removed] of the company belittling & bullying me via email. The way he had conducted himself throughout is appalling. & Unprofessional claiming the company is the victim & I have to deal with it. He stated he has nothing to do with as the owner is at fault; I quote “I’m only here as an advisor and you should breach the owner”. At this stage I felt in my rights I should express my experience via social media to be told by Andrew if I go down this track he would take me to court for expressing the truth!!!

I would highly recommend NOT to rent a property from this company & or allowing this company to manage your property.

Would not recommend this agency – Near impossible to have maintenance requests carries out. We had to request several times before anything was done. Forget your bond when the lease is over. The cleaning company is the same as the real estate agent who you sign the contact with. Go figure!!!

These people are lazy liars that do nothing but poke their forked tongue at you – 7- 10 bond rerelease dont believe it, they hold onto your $ while trying to blame lack of property maintainance they're responsible for on the customer, wont even fixexternal clipsal plug

rectify from the initial date of reporting it.

On top if these maintenance issues, I was blamed for cracks in plastering which occurred from previous repairs. The crack wad obvious wear and tear from a job not done correctly but the property manager consistently and persistently emailed me explaining it was my responsibility and I had to get it fixed.

There were numerous other issues throughout the 12 month tenancy. But overall I found the property manager to be completely unfair, not at all inpartial or objective in relation to disputes.

I held off on reporting issues feeling I would be blamed regardless of it I was at fault.

As a single parent I was worried about my reference being affected and I could not afford to break my lease.

Very poor property management, tennant neglect and overall attempt to take advantage of me and my situation.

Avoid this agency at all costs ad a landlord or tennant they are unprofessional and very laidback in relation to fixing maintenance.

Worst experience if my life. I am appalled tjat peopke can be treated in such a way.

The final inspection on vacating and the process of the bond returns has taken place less than 14 days of vacating the premises.
