Amex DJ platinum card benefits, I couldn't enjoy the benefits to purchasing clearance items less than $50, I have made numerous complaints to Amex customers service to refund me the subscription, as I have never been treated as platinum card holders that I couldn't enjoy the free express delivery purchase per terms n conditions i entered, to make things easier I didn't make any purchases coz that will involve contacting DJ n refund n recharge time time consuming transactions as im very busy n don't have patience to go after DJ or Amex for that
As Amex n DJ finishing co brand card n I have also terminated my DJ platinum card after lodging my complaints to bank ombudsman after numerous attempts to ask Amex to reverse the subscription fees back as I do not see the reasons to pay full annual subscription $295 for the dishonesty of DJ which breached the terms n conditions of platinum card benefits.
so Amex spent about 2 weeks times to investigate the matter n refused to refund me the subscription but asked me to accept $50 credit to keep quiet n settle the matter, I think this is a big insult to me as a platinum card holder. I wont be bother any one if the member subscription is only $20 -$50
I would like to ask both DJ n Amex is this reasonable to insist that i have to pay $245 for the subscription ?
so Amex claimed that i didn't report the case, i think they have to go through all the phone conversations including the survey i lodged with them n see attached DJ shipping fee about the $10 charges evidence as if Im lying!!!
horrible for big premium brands to do this to insult their platinum customer!
Poor Customer Services by American Express – I had American Express Platinum card cancelled without sending me the problematic card and other associated cards. I called customer services in Philippine/Malaysia (3 times only today), twice customer services cut my call. I called on Friday and I was told that I will be updated but nothing happened. When I connected today, customer service collection agent said its too early to get back to you. She was enforcing that their customer services is superior. Their dealing was terrible throughout the course of the issue. Probably very ordinary skills and terrible in dealing.
I never see any company using Philippine/Malaysia customer services have skilled people or have exceptional or even good customer services. These only speak good english and behave like a Robot.
American Express making billion of $s, charging marchents and customer so much money but want the cheap options for their customer services. This tell their mentality towards their customers.
I want everyone to check which cheap country options for such big companies (billion dollar revenue) and lack of any good skills and experience.
So frustrating these days companies only care about how much money they can save and customer there to suffer.

Great if you enjoy shopping at David Jones – The reward rate compared to other Amex's is not the best, but the lounge access each year at the airport and David Jones perks make up for it with an inexpensive annual fee. The sign up process was good, with great online banking access. The only issue is there is a lot of functionality missing like cancelling a card or disputing a transaction which requires a call to customer service. Show details

EXPENSIVE RIP OFF – Have had a card for some years. The points have got less and I have had extreme difficulty in trying to redeem rewards. In deed I could not redeem any reward. Using the chat with Amex was useless. Using the computer and 2 phone simultaneously we finally found out that we had to go to the DJ site and then we could chose a reward which is limited to a DJ gift card or an over priced item from DJs. Use your points to pay your bill and cancel the card. Other cards now offer the same travel insurance and better options for rewards such as flight points etc. DJ Amex has gone down hill like the stores. Thank goodness we sold our shares at the time of the takeover there is no future with a rip off like DJs

platinum card. After meeting the criteria i was told by the credit card company it is not the case of free first year of fee and also $300 dj gift card but either free first year of fee or $300 dj gift card. what a bloody cheats. so WARNING for everyone of the trap here.
