Decor Thermoglass with Realseal Questions & Answers
VerifiedI was sure Decor sold a thermoglass in 750ml but can't seem to find them anywhere? Can anyone confirm if they exist?
Can I use my decor thermoglass dish in my air fryer
You should do. I use mine in Sunbeam mini electric oven
Is the glass ovenproof
Definitely ovenproof but use caution taking it straight from the frig to the oven. Also use caution if you have leftovers in the glass dish and wanting to reheat in oven. I had a problem because I had leftovers in the frig and I took it straight from the frig and also because only half the dish was covered with the food and the other half was empty.
Hi everyone, we just broke our decor cook, seal and store 3l glass bowl. I am trying to buy another. Where are they, so far Woolworths don't have any, the closest I found was in New Zealand. I am in Busselton WA. please help if possible
A few months ago, Decor told me they're currently selling their 3 litre models mostly overseas as they want to establish their export business (Australia needs the money!). However, Woolworths might be able to get one in as a special order. Try asking at their service desk if it's possible. I know they weren't on the shelves around Perth back in April.
My decor 1 litre rectangle glass container does not seal any longer, do you have a solution? Thanks, Cathy
What oven heat can thermoglass withstand?
Decor doesn’t publish max oven temperature. Some have said that it can take up to 500c but you want to lower temperature by 25c because of its heat transfer properties. Decor however does warn not to use in toaster oven and make sure there’s no sudden temperature change and handling hot dish with wet towel - the usual precautions for handling hot glass.
Hope this helps. Share what you find out please.
Submitted a question to decor. Let’s see when it comes back with and what it say.
Correction. I meant 500°F not celsius. Decor has just come back to me saying their thermalglass is tested to 220 celsius.
Thank you. That is helpful.
unfortunately I put the frittata back into the oven to reheat - complete with the lid! Don't know what I was thinking about!
It has shrunk a little but luckily did not burst into flames.
