Stick to toasters – We purchased a DeLonghi oven 4 years ago because aesthetically it was going to look good in our brand new kitchen. Worst recision we’ve made. After complaining about the door not staying closed and the self cleaning oven not staying on they replaced it. The replacement is just as bad but now the warranty has expired. Never again. Avoid their ovens and stick up the toaster only. Show details
Looks good but big temp variations in the oven – Cook top is great, the cooker looks lovely, and the telescopic runners are a really nice touch, however, the cooking is really uneven on the fan forced setting which is normally an even setting. oven thermometer (font, rear, L&R) and had a variation of 20deg between the highest and lowest temperature. A service technician came out and said that was the way it was and nothing could be done about it and don't use fan forced if we want an even cook.
Oven door exploded !! – Have had our Delonghi Vintage 900 oven/cooker for just under a year, and apart from it baking a tad uneven, we love it! Tonight whilst heating the oven to cook pizzas, the inner glass on the oven door exploded! What a mess and very annoying. Show details

working. (Bonus) My first 900 wide oven and im loving the extra width. Cooling fan is a little noisy and stays on for 15-20 minutes after the oven is switched off, slightly annoying as my open plan kitchen adjoins my dining area. Even heat inside and bread,roasts,cookie's etc always come out perfectly. The control knobs are fiddly to clean and regularly need removal for cleaning as they become stiff and hard to turn. I do a lot of wok cooking and the large dual centre burner is lacking the heat i want,its not hopeless just lacking. Unless your baking cookie's all the time your pretty much limited to using one bottom shelf as the top shelf is only used for grilling, and if your cooking roasts or cakes a centre shelf is not an option,upside is the width so you can use a large roasting pan and another beside it. Two large legs of lamb and another tray filled with spuds,onions, carrots is not a problem. Oven ball bearing rack slides are beautifully smooth and make for a premium feel. Supplied splash back looks great but can be removed as in my case as oven was installed in a semi island granite bench configuration. Finally this oven comes with a motorised rotisserie, my previous smeg had this feature and I used it once in 15 years and I haven't used the one in this oven at all.i found the only time I needed a rotisserie was to cook whole suckling pigs so I go to kennards and hire one when needed. Conclusion, whilst it has some shortcomings it's stunning good looks and consistent cooking results tick all the boxes and makes this a great unit.

Best oven I’ve ever had – Love this oven, my last one was an Ilve and I loved that so it was a huge decision to change it up. But the moment I saw this one I loved it. simple wipe down with a wet cloth. The over temperature is spot on to all heat setting for all recipes, no need to guess or vary any recipes cooking times. I would definitely buy another De'Longhi oven or highly recommend it to anyone.
