using the remote all the time. It baffled me that there no major electronics company could produce something like these, I'm really happy that a smaller business could fill that gap. I've had these installed now for nearly 6 months and I couldn't provide a review until I tested the battery life. I have some large blackout blinds and I wanted to see how they go with the battery. Still haven't had to charge them since installation, using them between 1-2 cycles per day from fully open to fully closed.

I started by asking a couple questions on the website chat late at night, thinking I might just be speaking to a bot, about its compatibility with Home Assistant, I spoke to a real person. They answered any little question I had about them, were really friendly, I couldn't believe it. I placed an order for 7 blinds plus a remote after watching their straightforward video / drawings on what adapters to buy for my blinds. The website was easy to navigate and delivery was fairly quick. I could have purchased them from 'oz smart things' for a little more and they include every adapter, but their website and adapter selection is soo easy, I would feel bad just throwing away the other adapters. Installation was so simple after watching their couple minute videos, I had thought that it would take an hour or so per blind, really it was 5 minutes and I was able to do them all by myself. Though I did have newish blinds. Setup is pretty easy to, set the channel, bottom limit, top limit and you're done. There's a maximum of 6 channels so we have doubled up two blinds in the kitchen. The remote is great, looks sleek, small and is self explanatory. There are settings for closed, 25% open, 50% open, 75% open, open. Though I use a Broadlink RM4 Pro (~$55) to integrate these with Home Assistant and mostly control them through that. Charging is easy with the long magnetic cable, haven't tried the solar charger as they've lasted long enough already. Really scratching my head to think of negatives, if there were more channels available for control that would be good, only because I'm pedantic and want to customize everything. I just wish I had got them sooner so that the cords that I previously had wouldn't have scratched up the walls as much.

end of the installation. Alex and Yi have gone above and beyond to help with my older blinds. Very impressed with their clever affordable innovation. Opening and closing the blinds daily with a press of a button has made life much easier! No more yelling at the kids to open/close the 8-10 blinds every day! :)
