(Without notice, I just went there and it was half dismantled!), but after many calls (You can’t call management directly), and emails that were full of rubbish excuses, no refund. This is the MOST toxic business I have ever seen! Go to REVO, it is clean, the staff are friendly, they have heating in winter, and no maintenance issues. They also don’t have constant Gangster rap music going full blast, like Derrimut. Most of the songs played in their gyms have ‘Nigger’ in them, a term I find highly offensive. This was another issue, I brought it to management’s attention, but nothing was done. Derrimut gym also use Spotify free version, as they are such tightwads, which is against Spotify’s user policy. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

gutted!!! No gym equipment, nothing. Worst of all, there was no notice, signs of relocation or explaining what had happened, just gone like they had never existed! It's absolutely unacceptable to just disappear like that. I paid for a membership in full and cannot use other Derrimut gyms because they're too far away. I have contacted Derrimuts VIC and now I'm waiting for a response. Hopefully I get a partial refund or something because now I have to find another gym. I do not recommend Derrimuts at all.

Never got a refund after they closed Shepparton gym down, multiple emails but they never followed up! even thou staff on the day of closing told me I would get a refund on remainder of months I paid for!

Very disappointed with the Derrimut Gym in Newcomb. On multiple visits I've dealt with the same unresolved issues most of the fans are unplugged and the air conditioning isn't working, making it genuinely uncomfortable and unsafe to train. Most of the machines have not working signs.. We really tried to be loyal despite being quite inconvenienced with the classes and trainers not showing up because they weren’t being paid. However new management with the new managers has made the customer experience even worse. All 4 members of the family will be changing gyms and it can’t happen quickly enough

The gym closed less than a week after taking out a 12 month membership. There has been zero response from the official email address provided around refunds. Nick had a great vision and it was a great gym & great prices too. Unfortunately the managers and employees let this gym down

Customer service amounts to abuse at Anglevale customers chucked out mid work out ,while fork lift trucks moved equipment out health and safety .I have sent many e mails requesting a refund no response effectively taking money not providing a service .Gepps cross power cuts leaving the doors open no staff their we could have helped ourselves. But didn't toilets a disgrace place generally unclean go elsewhere.

many locations aswell as overcrowding due to ridiculously cheap membership sales, It quickly became not worthwhile going to. Presales of upcoming gym openings that never opened and no refunds for those memberships also a big factor in only 1 star.

Crap magement, no pilates instructors for ages and now they want us to check in to do our own organised classes. What a joke. We have to check in to use the equipment!!!!!!!!

Derrimut have been cancelling their Reformer Classes at Thomastown and Oakleigh in Melbourne for the last few weeks... are they going under or not paying their instructors that there are mass exodus of instructors? Paid a whole year's membership and looks like my money is gone too.

Change rooms are in bad shape have a mouldy odour, music being played is constantly gangster rap, as if they only have 1 cd on repeat 24/7 horrible selection to motivate you to workout!

They charge inconsistently and more than agreed upon weekly price. They're stealing.

Derrimut Newcomb- Changed closing hours with little notice so always packed and have to wait for machines. Often dirty inside and broken machines take ages to get fixed. No aircon so machines often have dried sweat stains. Don't be sucked in by their cheap membership promotions. Go elsewhere and pay a bit more or you'll regret it. This gym sucks, go to Corio Derrimut which is 24/7, has newer equipment, and is cleaned regularly.

I'd leave 0 stars if I could! Ballarat site is awful. Policy's on cancellation or transferring of memberships also pretty much non existent. If you decide to pay upfront you've done your dough, you can't even transfer the membership to a family member so someone is at least benefiting from it.

Impossible to book into Pilates classes at port Melbourne unless you are up at 5am when the bookings open. As per management - classes are booked out by 502 am. Management also suggested I look at other gyms if this didn’t suit me. Need I say any more.

Derrimut do not care about their members at all. They have just cancelled all group fitness classes without ANY direct notice to their members. The instructors were left to tell everyone, and they were only given 1.5 weeks notice. Disgraceful.

This gym is large and convenient and you can usually get on machines even at peak times. I like that it has a ladies gym. I don’t rate the Pilates, but it is included which is good. The big downside is it’s dirty. People don’t use gym towels and they often run out of paper towel so you can’t spray and clean the equipment before you use it. Dissapointed about changed opening hrs. If going to 24hr key fob access do the necessary work then close 24 hr staffed hrs. Equipment needs maintenance.

any issues or questions that can't be addressed at the actual gym, then forget it, you'll get nothing it seems from the company.

has cancelling been a complete hassle, but they also managed to completely mess up my kids’ details, swapping their memberships with my own fully paid yearly membership. The whole situation has been a disaster.

I’ll be contacting the appropriate ombudsman and blocking them through my bank, but I strongly advise anyone to think twice before trusting this gym with your bank details. This experience has been nothing but frustrating, and their customer service is appalling. Avoid at all costs!
