Destinia a scam. Do not book with them !!
Destinia is a very unreliable company. I booked a hotel stay in Mexico through them end of april. I had covid and i cancelled 3 days before my stay. The hotel rules allow full refund. Destinia claims they cannot communicate with their own supplier w2x. On the phone they will tell you they are not allowed to say the name of the supplier company and that you have to go read it on the voucher.
Almost 4 months later, supplier company says hotel is still considering the case. The hotel emailed me twice and officially denied any contact by supplier or destinia. 4 month and no refund.
If this is not a scam, i Don't know what is.

No customer service.
No customer service. Destinia does not respond to their emails. Could not change the date by 2 days more than a week before the reservation and ended up with nothing but lost money. No refund. Nothing. If you use their service expect no service or ability to manage any reservation with them as they refuse to assist in even the simplest requests and have no ability to change or modify a reservation they make and don't allow the hotels to make any changes to the reservation. Absolutely useless company. I will never use them again.

I have since resent the original emails to all concerned and you continue to ignore the fact that the reservation was able to changed when the request to change was madr but the requests were simply ignored until the after May 7th. You seem to want to blame your customers for your failure to provide service. This is not a professional attitude.No stars, just theft
Booked a room through destina for one night. Get to the hotel to be told there is no booking there under my name or any of the numbers this fraud company provided. So I then had to pay again to book another room. To top it off, there were like 5 other people the same day who also booked using this company who also got ripped off! Absolutely appalling. Will never use this company again and have also received some nonsense email back (after the 10 emails I sent to them, and 20 unanswered calls) saying that supposedly they are trying to fix my booking now! Nonsense, they stole my money and don’t plan on trying to refund me. Never use this company, worst experience you will ever have!

Didn't even book hotel room
Received a confirmation that the room had been booked and then coincidentally, one day prior to arrival, was told there were no rooms. No ability to contact them, no reply to emails. I will have to go to my bank to provide a refund on my credit card.

Failure to provide full refund
Booked accommodation with Destinia early this year on basis that would get a full refund if cancelled before due date.
Cancelled within week of booking and months before the stipulated date but did not receive the full rebate. The excuse was that the with held amount was for insurance but I did not order insurance. Presumably Destenia take out insurance against cancellation but there is no statement to this effect on advertising accommodation or when making the booking.
Would definitely not use them again

Absolutely unethical - Don't use this travel company
I booked one nights accommodation in Perth during July 2020 only to find out my accommodation was booked albeit no rooms were available, the Hotel themselves advised numerous times I was on a waiting list despite Destina charging my credit card for the booking, to make matters worse I was charged a $8.45 international Card Fee for the privilege on no accommodation. When trying to cancel well in advance, I was told "sorry we cant cancel your booking, and we will resolve with the hotel". Destina made no attempt to contact the hotel and I was unab...

Appalling Customer Service
I have been waiting for a refund for 5 months. I have sent email after email with no reply. I wonder if these emails are even looked at?!?! I’m my opinion there is no customer service!!! I truly should not had used this organisation who has held onto my money and made no contact with me to help me resolve this matter. Be cautious when using Destinia for your future travel needs.

I have had no reply from bookings despite previous emails asking me to contact them when I am ready to book a flight.
Unfortunately I was unable to go with my family to Lanzarote and stay in a H10 hotel. I booked my flights on their website through Destinia (see reference).
I have now rebooked my accommodation for 09/06/2021 - 19/06/2021.
Both my flights were cancelled.
Outward with British Airways (Destinia paid 734.75 with my debit card)

Do Not Use
I booked through Destinia, next day had a random $400 amazon purchase via Japan, Credit Card was hacked straight after I booked the hotel room hacked- Destinia used or sold my credit card details.

Will think twice before using Destinia
Book room using Destinia including cancellation insurance. Upon cancellation after being charged cancellation fees, was offered voucher. What kind of scam is this, I don't want voucher, just reimburse my money.

Booked a stay in Adelaide for start of October and receive through confirmation stay is late October??? What?? How is this even possible?
Cannot reach by phone and have sent 4 emails, no response.
No other option but to go to my bank and dispute claim and chase funds that way.
Not cool, not good and would suggest finding somewhere more reputable.

Read more and have requested to be removed from any of your marketing databases. It will be interesting to see if your company can at least get this request right. As stated, I STILL have browser pages open on my phone showing dates I booked which were NOT the 27th October so I think it best to never have to deal with your company again. I would advise anyone to utilise these sites to get a good deal but call the hotel direct as they usually match or better prices (hindsight is 20/20 vision isn’t it?). Plus this way the hotel gets the full amount I pay without having to share with said such sites. Thanks again for reaching out however, I stand by my comment and convictions. I was sceptical just after making the booking as I read some of the reviews. However called the hotel day after and accommodation all booked! Great price and good easy website to use!!
