I do not like this machine. It doesn't go flat so you can't get under some furniture. It doesn't have a light on the foot. The roller is difficult to remove to clean and reinstall. It is not very maneuverable. I wish I had bought another Kmart stick vacuum, as it had everything, including a battery indicator, and it lasted 4 years! The only thing good I can say about it is that it has good auction, but only on the high setting. Show details
Suction almost adequate on highest setting. Difficult and fiddly to empty. Battery lost most of its capacity within six months. The warranty covered the battery and the claim was easy, so, an extra star for that. On/off button positioned so it comes on when you don't want it to. Tiny bin capacity. Lacking any refinements apart from the… Read more
posh-sounding name. Overall, build quality is fine, it's just a very basic design. I thought it was just what you get at this price point, but I bought a different brand at pretty much the same price and that is in another league.

Bought this item online with Worthworths Market Place, Big W and is disappointed with the quality and as the vacuum head size shrank compare to my previous one bought two years ago. Also there are no lights (important feature) on the vacuum head. It is less powerful even though it claimed 250W versus my old one with 150W. It also cost $20 more. In the photo, the new one is blue colour. Better buy the Kmart one for $129.00 . Its got lights! Show details

Absoluty no communition – I have tried to get in touch using the contact page on Devanti's web page almost 2 weeks ago but have had no reply. I purchased a VAC-CL-09E hand held vac from Kogan.com last December and it has been working very well and I am very happy with it. BUT 2and a half weeks ago it slid down the wall I had it leaning against and hit the hard tile floor… Read more
breaking the clip that holds the motor, see attached photos, so now is useless as the motor does not stay in place. So as I said I contacted via the website,https://devanti.com.au/pages/contact-us, adding photos, same as here, asking if I can purchase parts to fix the clip or do I throw it away and have to purchase a new one for over $100. Simple enough question BUT as of today 15/08/24 NO REPLY NOTHING. I will monitor this review for an answer and also use the contact page once again as there I can add my email address and phone number as before. So far the after sales service is making me think twice about purchasing a bench top dishwasher that I have had my eye on for a few months now. UPDATE I tried using their webpage contact again this time I received a reply. After 5 back and forth messages the final reply was this "After checking, regret that we don't have the part you need to sell." SO that's a $100 cordless vacuum in the bin. I doubt very much if I ever purchase form an online seller that you cant contact or that contact is very difficult.

Great value and lasts so long as you clean it after every use – I have owned two of these. When the battery, after many years, would not recharge I bought another. Acceptable quality and CHEAP. It does a few patch jobs, and then has enough power to vacuum the whole house with no power cords to drag around and replug. It halves the cleaning time. The trick for long life is to always empty the container and… Read more · 1
always clean the filter. I tap the filter on the inside of my sink to get the fine gunk out. Otherwise the vacuum does not perform. Recharge the battery ready for next use.
Doesn’t Last Long – Purchased from Catch October 2022. I have a hard carpeted top level house and tiled floors downstairs. No pets. The vacuum was Great at first, but a year later and the suction is gone. I’ve always emptied the waste and cleaned the filters after every second use, including the filter that you can only get to by unscrewing the top part of the… Read more
device. I’ve emailed devanti customer service as I was Just within the warrantee period but never received a response. It’s a great price (which is why I bought it) but Trust the reviews! Spend the extra money and get something that will actually last.

Better product for little cost ! – I purchased this vacuum cleaner a couple of months ago and it's absolutely brilliant. I've had vacuum cleaners in the past that have cost me a fortune yet don't offer 'outstanding' performance. This little gem cost me a fraction of the price of ones that ive had in the past. It's convenient as it comes apart for different uses, it has a power… Read more · 1
motor head that brings up my carpets beautifully. It comes apart for easy cleaning and tucks away neatly when not in use. Fantastic value for money. Performs like a 'million dollar 'item yet costs next to nothing. I actually really enjoy vaccuming (sometimes up to 3 times a day) and my Avanti Stick Vacuum works perfectly everytime.

Easy Cleaning – I bought my first stick vacuum cleaner from Devanti which has proved to be such an easy to use efficient cleaner which does the same job as the more expensive models. Show 3 replies
Perfect allround – I use it on Carpets & Timber Floor , take up is perfect - plenty battery power ( I replaced it with a Dyson that lasted 8 minutes and was difficult to clean )... easy clean....and assemble ... Show details · 3
2 years of operations and still going strong. Strong suction – I bought this through a online ecommerce store (mydeal.com.au) along with the Devanti foot massager 2 years ago. I have been using the vacuum cleaner a couple times every week since and still going strong. Strong suction everytime. Very easy to empty the "bin". Lightweight. Comes with wand for "normal" floor vaccuming and 2 head attachments for… Read more · 1
different vacuuming needs.
I use it in conjunction with my Dyson. You guess which one always win - the Devanti one. Works everytime, less maintenance - Dyson have a tendency to trap things inside the head (nozzle) where as the Devanti have a see through head for ease of cleaning.
I would trust the Devanti brand as a excellent more affordable alternatives to the best known brands.
Negative reviews
I don't often do reviews, but think I should with this one. THIS stick Vacuum is the most useless piece of rubbish I think I've ever purchased. I cant or wont pick up simple grit and carpet dirt without blocking and everything falling out the head. On hard floors it cant pick up a single thing without dropping it out the head when turning it off.… Read more
The tube blocks constantly and I'm forever trying to clear it out. It's blocking with simple fluff etc...nothing big or hard. Any vacuum would pick this type of dirt up without an issue, except this piece of overpriced rubbish...The dirt filter or holder blocks up by choking with fluff around the motor and very difficult to pick it out...Frustrating trying to empty it. It's a scam. Look elsewhere for quality because this isn't it.
Worst vacuum cleaner. Suction terrible! Then wouldn’t charge. Tried to get service with no success. Lots of emails with no help! I wouldn’t recommend!! Throwing in the bin after only 12 months. Still like new due to lack of use as it just does not work. Show details

I have bought 3 over the years and finally learned not to trust Devanti or OzPlaza Living – I should have checked the Product reviews before buying the last one this month. I needed a new battery and was given the run around by Devanti and OzPlaza Living. Last message from Devanti, Joey, is that they have no stock and no idea when they will get any. OzPlaza Living in their add for the item that I bought mention that battery available but still getting the run around from both. Show details

I love this. First I had a Kmart, which was acceptable. When it gave up the ghost, I decided to go upmarket a bit and bought a Dyson on special for $449. This proved to be one of the worst appliances I have ever bought. That ended up at the tip. Then I bought the Devanti from Bunnings at $106. It is lighter than the Dyson; the suction is… Read more
much better and it comes with attachments. While it might be noisier, needs emptying halfway through session and filters need to be cleaned after every use, it is a definite improvement on the Dyson. Main benefits are that it is lighter, suction stronger.
WORST VACUUM we have had purchased from MYDEAL – It had very poor suction compared to an old Dyson 4 years old. Would not pick up fluff and general dirt off our carpet. We had already packed it back into carton and contacted MYDEAL who wanted us to send them a video and would cost us $30. to send back from WA. We did try it again to give them the benefit but utterly useless even on vinyl floor. Show details

Ok while it lasted – Should have known these vacuums have a shelf life of 12 months or less. Used twice or thrice a week. Good on hard surfaces, but doesn’t pick up stuff like hair or small items from carpet. I used it to quickly sweep around without having to bring out the bulky Miele one. One day just stopped working, won’t switch on after full charge. Mailed… Read more
devanti but they asked me to contact seller directly for warranty (which is catch.com.au). I know it’s going to go round and round. Probably a better customer support is expected.

Not perfect but gives 12 months of cord free cleaning – Used every day for quick cleanups and does a reasonable job. The convenience of no cord is a bonus. The rollers keeping the cleaning head above floor level failed early but caused little problem. The removal of the tube between the power unit and the head is awkward. The battery life was good to begin with but nearing 12 months it failed to retain… Read more
charge. Replacement battery not available due to supply chain issues. When available it is cheaper to buy a new vacuum rather than the battery alone.

Use it every day very handy, light and easy to use. No cord getting tangled. Happy to provide advice to users – Collected the vac. from hard rubbish throw out !! The rotary brush had been stalled with long nylon threads that had melted, these were cleared with the little comb device that was provided. The machine was charged and it worked perfectly. But with a small dust collector it fills up quickly and needs to be emptied frequently, also the little air… Read more · 1
filter needs to be cleaned when suction drops. no problems what a beauty. We use it on Slate, Carpet and cobwebs in corners we have other vacs. but use this one for its convenience.

So so so happy!! – We have a central vacuum system in our house but I am so glad we bought this little magic thing!!!! We have a toddler and let's face it, the house get messy! sure what to look for when comparing stick vacuum cleaner but I wasn't ready to pay top $$$ either. I did my research and basically, unless you can afford a Dyson( and some models even have pretty bad reviews) it all comes down to power and battery life. Most model within the same price range will have similar features. This is not what you use to do the big spring cleaning. Its not for doing the entire house and detailing. Its really for short clean up, "spot cleaning", everyday-after-meal-mess, after craft or little spills kind of thing. It does take 3-4 hours to charge, but I find I only charge it once a week really, since I only use it in short bursts at the time. I love the size of it and the ease of use. It is a bit heavy when you use the "hand" mode though. The suction is good when fully charged, when the battery is toward the end, it takes a bit more effort to get the stuff through. I have mainly tiles and floor board across the house, I wouldn't recommend it if you have mainly carpet, (short or long) as it is not that powerful. It is also a bit noisy for the size. The size of the dust collector container is good and easy to empty and clean. Overall, great value for money, it all depends what you need it for.

WASTE OF MONEY – Over 4 Weeks using it 4 times it worked fine then suddenly battery won't hold charge at all. What an absolute rip off. I purchased this through mydeals.Com.Au because it had decent reviews - basically throwing $100 of my hard earned money into the bin. Hard floor, cat hair to pick up. Little to no suction. You might as well buy a leaf blower – Doesn’t suck up the smallest, lightest bits of dirt, just whirls everything around. Used this vacuum on both carpet and floor boards, does not perform at all. Super noisy. Finally bit the bullet and ordered a Dyson. This one is going straight into the bin! Show details
