washing machine IMO. The spinner is powerful!! Couldn't be happier. I got mine from BIG W online. In the video, I have a queen fitted sheet in the spinner. It could fit 4 pillow cases too, easily, but i'm just happy to have it so i'm not in a rush.
Follow-up · Still loving my Devanti 4.5kg dual washing machine. A few things I've learnt is the spinner bucket load should be evenly distributed to prevent unwanted knocking/ movement. Washing is okay if you have only a few light items but extremely disappointed with the spin cycle. It does nothing. Wringing by hand is better. I bought the machine because I only have small amounts of washing and I have arthritis and other hand impairments so hand wringing is hard. I feel I have wasted my money. Show details

motor lasts longer than the 1 year warranty), however, they have changed the perfectly good lint filter that is on the smaller twin tub and replaced it as per the photo attached. I have washed towels, bath mats etc and not one bit of lint collects in the new lint filter. There is no way the new lint filter could've been ‘quality checked’ by Devanti before they put the larger twin tub on the market, it is absolutely useless. End result is the larger wash and spin capacilty is good, lint filter absolutely useless.
Follow-up · Following on from initial review, the bigger twin tub has a gentle wash cycle but i don't wear delicate fabrics. I never use the gentle cycle. The spin dryer is great and very quiet. grand thrashing. However, spin action is a dud and a fails to hold more than a tenth of a full load, and wringing only 2/3 of individual items. So buyer beware.
Love Devanti twin tub – Best twin tub washes good size loads and spins so great . Not noisy at all. Recommend it to everyone . Have had 3 companion they are truly not even able to wash more than a tea towel much less spin it . Motorhome lightweight washer Dev 4.6 – Devanti 4.6 kg is fit for my purpose - a machine to fit in a motorhome locker and used to wash a few items when away from home. I made a tap fitting with a valve for filling from a normal hose and threw the supplied flimsy hose away. If it needs a seal anywhere I'll make one. It's super light weight, thank god and spinning is better than hand wringing imho. Better than a bucket, washes well and only cost $100 delivered.
RUBBISH – I bought the 5 kg machine, and it only lasted 5 months, it won't start and looks like the motor has gone. It also set off my safety switch and turned off my electricity because of the fault. These are gravity drainage, so you need to drain to the ground. Good washer but spin drying very ordinary – Washes well but even my arthritic hands can wring the clothes drier than what the spin dryer does. Twin tub versions seem to be more suitable for spinning clothes dry. However if wet clothes don't bother you and space is more a priority then it's good. Show details

Machine good, Devanti/New Aim not so much – On first fill, this machine leaked every drop like a tap from the base of the machine. I contacted Devanti (New Aim) with photos to enquire whether it was likely missing a seal and if spares were available as I imagined would be an easy fix. warranty, I know how to invoke a warranty claim. I was trying to ascertain whether my assumptions were correct and whether I could rectify it with a spare part thus saving everybody time and money.
I found a suitable seal at work and installed it and then it worked flawlessly. The seller was kind enough to offer a partial refund and both parties were happy, no thanks to Devanti/New Aim.
Drain hose could be longer. Tap attachment could be thought out better with adaptors or a silicon sleeve.

This has got to by after my washing machine packed up – I own an on-site caravan, I am also a long distance truck driver, this little washing machine is very handy, I can take it anywhere, its also perfect if you have just a small wash to do. Show reply
