Great service – Had Lee come by and quote a site preperation job at our home. The quote we got was at a good price compared to the other ones we had. We had a skip dropped off and the job was completed to a good standard and they also removed a tree stump which I didn't expect. Top work guys Show reply
Ripped off – take the credit card up front and charge what they want Turn up with small digger not the excavator I approved with the operator for hours and then they just charged extra time I complained and they didn't care or would refund I never leave reviews but felt ripped off Use another service or get ready to be ripped off Show details

RIP OFF!! EXCUSES EXCUSES – I hired these guys to do a job for me, to take 10 cms (their suggested amount) from my front lawn, smoothing -not levelling as my front yard is on a slope and to level it would mean terracing something I needed to avoid for wheelchair access). specific instructions as already provided to [Name Removed].I contacted [Name Removed] that evening and questioned how 10cms had been removed as the dirt was still level with the driveway. It was arranged that [Name Removed] would return next day to fix that, [Name Removed]tried to get me to pay for the additional time and a third skip but I refused stating the second skip was still onsite and not filled (to limit) and that the job should have been done according to request. I arrived home the next night in daylight and had a better opportunity to check the work-having already received phone calls and a further copy of the bill issued the previous day demanding payment. I was told in no uncertain terms that I WOULD pay the invoice despite the fact that I was not happy. When I raised concerns about the "smoothing" etc, I was advised that THEY decided not to put a slope on my lawn for fear of water into house-[Name Removed] THAT slope has been here since the house was built in 1975 (with no water into home due to other geographical attributes of area)and you were contracted to provide-a service you did not despite the fact that you pressured me into settling the invoice of over $3,000 The result as you can see is neither smooth nor taken down 10cms throughout, meaning I have to now fork out (money i do not have) for someone professional to repair your work. Save your money folks, [Name Removed] was a cowboy, and [Name Removed] a phone warrior.
Do NOT USE – We gave our credit card details upfront not only did they take 10 hours to do 4 loads they failed to provide receipts of tip fees and continued to try to debit more fees from our cards

Don't use them – The high rate they charge does not match their lack of professionalism. They did a good job clearing the land but smashed an outside sink in the process which will cost several hundred dollars to fix. They have refused to entertain the idea that they are at fault even though they were the only people there at the time. Their excuse is it's collateral damage. So sad too bad. A bunch of unprofessional cowboys.

Mix waste removal(huge load) – 5 star service, land clean as new. Land was filled with mix waste such as concrete soil hard rubbish wood and green waste from illegal dumping, and they clean up everything. Thanks Show reply
Garden Bed Demolition – Just wanted to give a shout out to Lee and Jeff at Dial A Digger for doing a fantastic job! Was organised really well, turned up on time and Jeff in his little dingo was fantastic. No fuss, didn't complain or point out problems like a lot of other trades. Removal of concrete driveway – Requested a bobcat to move dense concrete driveway into a waste bin. Hossein arrived on time, courteous, and obliging. Job completed in record time. Safe and responsible operator. Highly recommend him! Rob b. Black Rock, VIC

Didn't bring right equipment, took way too long, charged way more than quoted – We needed simple trench digging and levelling and requested a bobcat that could be in a small space, just 1m wide. The guy turned up, so confused as to what was going on, terrible communication, with his not-mini-digger that doesn't fit the space I clearly said we'd need to fit through on the phone. were there waiting for the trench to be dug. He took an extra 1.5 hours to get started cause he had to remove the lid of his too-large bobcat. Each hour charged at $120 so I guess that's on me too. Then he went to a very expensive landfill site that charged us $680 but there wasn't even much to tip. The guy also said he had to charge us for another machine which we hadn't been told about before the job.
Oh and a hefty credit card charge.
Would never use again, would sooner hire a mini bobcat ourselves!

Good job done – Thank you to the 2 dial a digger guys that came out to complete our work. 1 was tight access as we had narrow access and 1 was a bigger machine. Both guys work together to get the job done under the quoted time which made it cheaper for us. Amazing work! Efficient and friendly – Quote was amazing, they came out and assessed our block and worked with us to get us the cheapest quote. Finished the levelling in the 3 hours time limit and it looks great! We couldn’t be happier especially when we were in a rush to get something booked in. 10/10 would call every time! Show reply

Exceeded Expectations – It was a small job that the operator did within the 3 hour minimum charge, (2hrs). Therefore I was able to get additional work done with the machine that I thought I would save money and do it by hand. In the end I believe he spent 3.5 hrs getting my extra work done and still only charged the minimum rate. Show reply
Disrespectful – Beware they will damage your property - my fence and the side of the house now requiring repairs thanks to workmanship on a job that required them to go no where near either! And they show no remorse for the damage caused. Oh and don't bother calling the SA directed company number - the guy doesn't care in the slightest. Never again!!!
Rip off! – Timesheet exaggerated how long they were here, didn't have the right equipment to work efficiently and mislead how long the job will take. Costs lots more than the quote. Cancelled and rescheduled twice - unreliable. Only method of payment is credit card and they conveniently charge a fee for paying by credit cards!

Worst customer service ever – I have had a removal job. At first they asked one of their franchisee to come and have a look and give me a quote. The franchisee asked me to go someone else and get it cheaper to which i was not impressed and it sounded dodgy as he told me that he would work with the other guy to do my job. They gave me the phone number of the second franchisee and he never gave me a call back and after chasing for two weeks, i then again called them and spoke to the Owner/manager. Who asked me to go somewhere else as it is a smaller job and it's just too difficult. I can not understand what was the point of me wasting my time and energy on to this guys when they could have just told me the first time. Complete waste of time and energy and seems like they do not respect by the sound and tone of the Owner/manager.

Absolutely Shocking - Do Not Recommend – Works that Instructed were finished incomplete. They essentially created more mess than contributed. I will never recommend. they offered to come back and charge more money to fix the problem that they caused.

Incomplete job and disorganised – What a waste of money. 1st time I booked they just didn't turn up. Booked again for 10 days later. The day prior they ring me to say they mixed up the location and had previously under quoted me, and they only have a 30cm bucket digger available instead of the small trench digger I need for an electrical cable to go in. I had 3 other trades booked… Read more
for that afternoon after the trench is dug, so a big hassle to re-book them all. So they turn up the next morning, and can't complete the trench because of the size of the digger, meaning I have to go and waste more time to dig a third of it with a shovel. They spent a whole hour there, didn't finish the job and still charged me $500. Avoid them like the plague, they aren't organized and don't give a stuff to boot!

Inexperienced operator – Booked in this company to dig some stump holes, told would send most experience operator, when the holes were completed some were not drilled straight and we had to get our builder to fix them, which took another day. Operator was not given the correct equipment to complete the job so it took longer than it should of. Made complaint to the head office, which were fobbed off. Would not recommend this company!
