cleaning process itself, can be a little physically demanding on the average person, but is a decent workout, especially moving furniture ha ha. Although, using the carpet cleaning machine is quite simple and very effective. Don't waste time thinking about buying a cheap carpet cleaning machine that will do a poor job. This thing is very powerful and does a great job at removing dirt, stains and grime from carpets. I highly recommend Kennards Hire Mackay for anyone looking to hire equipment as they also have a large range of various items in store.

Kennards left me stranded and couldn’t care less – I booked a Ute, in person, several days prior to requiring the vehicle. At no time, during the negotiating of the hire did the staff member mention the requirement to have a credit card available for the day of pick up and that a debit card would not be acceptable. because I was not fore-warned of the need to provide a credit card. It was like I was set up and tricked to the amusement of all their staff - hahah we got another one, look at this poor so-and-so… no Ute, work plans stuffed and now he can walk home, how funny are we!

I spent a day preparing the job which required the ute and I was left stranded by Kennards with no way to complete the job and no way home after being dropped off. The staff stood around, amused and entertained without a care about my predicament, my serious inconvenience or losses. The offer of a phone call was completely useless as nobody commits mobile phone numbers to memory.

The complete lack of care, competence or consideration to customers is a disgrace. I did nothing to deserve being treated in such a way that left me stranded and stuck because Kennards could not advise me of the full requirements for hire prior to pick up and couldn’t care less that I suffered because of their incompetence. There was no care or attempt made to resolve the problem and help me out due to their error. According to the terms and conditions, I could have left my bank account details as an option. Instead, the staff let me walk all the way home in the rain to the Hawthorn side of Norman Park, having no phone. I am a retired pensioner with advanced arthritis in my left knee and it rained.

The service was appalling. Complete lack of care or consideration. Kennards had absolutely no consideration or interest in the hardship they had provided to a loyal, local customer. It was like, “your problem mate, suck eggs, know off you go!” Kennards East Brisbane do not higher vehicles to anyone who doesn’t have a credit card which excludes services to pensioners like myself and low income earners or anyone who chooses not to accrue debt by owning a credit card.

Kennards Hornsby – I rented a 100mm chipper online from Hornsby. As a first time customer the experience was flawless 10/10. * Online order the night prior, create account, attach payment details. the trailer attached in moments and I can drive off to get to work. * During the hire, get totally rained out and call to extend. No worries, following day return no stress on the phone. * Manage to finish before COB, return the machine. Again a two minute job to pull up, have the workshop unhook it. Scan the machine barcode, they ask if a want a digital invoice and bam done in less than five minutes. The longest part of the return was walking inside to pickup my complimentary cold drink.

As my first time hiring from Kennards Hire Hornsby, just wow. It's not often you can say hiring kit was a delightful experience. Thanks again team, you made it awesome.

Needed to hire a concrete finishing trowel (helicopter) for a pour starting at 7am Monday morning. 6:30 am.. the pump is there at 6:00 am for setup. The boys rock up at 6:00am and the first trucks at 7:00am Any way.. I was told I’d need to pay two days hire for a machine that would sit in the back of my truck on Sunday before I could use it on Monday! As a builder in cairns…, I hire a lot from the cairns kennards.. guess what no more! Throw away my card details… ya won’t be seeing me again.. Coates hire just around the corner.. I have the machine.. it’s Friday arv! And I’m only paying for mondays hire.

Car transporter trailer hire for 400 km round trip. Trailer towed perfectly loaded and empty. Easy to load and unload. After hours return great feature. Very helpful staff and excellent value. Was first time I've used Kennards but will definitely use again. One indicator was dead, very hard to get hitch to release and safety shackle worked loose but these were minor issues in bigger picture. Show details ·  1
