Dick Smith USB Encoding Turnable with USB/SD Input
Verified1 review
Total piece of rubbish – Total piece of rubbish. Bought some years ago to record wife's record collection and just unpacked and tried to record vinyl to USB or SD card. LCD unresponsive. Turntable work but inaudible volume with no adjustments for volume. Would give it zero stars if possible.
Purchased for $150.
Sorry about the delay. Yes the product is way out of warranty but as it had not been used since new and it was a gift, it was very annoying to find it worked to record one song, then refused to acknowledge any USB stick or card (formatted for FSAT32 of course) so no further recording was possible. I carefully removed the back to check if dust was the problem. It wasn't.... no sign of dust as it was stored in the box and plastic it came in. Could not check if recorded via the remote but there was no remote. So I do not have a receipt so I imagine you will automatically reject responsibility for this product. They no longer seem to be available anyway. Does Dick Smith deserve such a poor Product Review? Prove me wrong please....
