How can I get a manual for the AR-1780 online with handing out a credit card number ?
How do I turn off the time set on alarm on Digitech Audio AR-1780. I do not want any time set on alarm! Cheers
My question concerns all attempts to tune any station on FM, AM, or SW have failed miserably. After many attempts over many months since purchase I had my first success, managed to set the clock, WOW! I thought this might trigger some latent efforts. Still nothing! The details Digitech AR-1721. Distrib NSW.

A few days at most. But it does charge quite quickly, a sign of a small capacity battery.
My 1733 will not unlock using the lock button.

There is no backlit light on the lcd display so we have trouble seeing the time.Is there a button on the radio somewhere? Thought it should stay on all the time

I'm not sure it ever fully charged. The radio is a major disappointment imo.

I do not have this particular radio (the AR1745) but if when the radio is switched 'on' you go to the bottom row of buttons and continually press the third button from the right until you either hear stations in the desired band or you see an appropriate frequency appear in the display. This button should be marked 'Band.' Please indicate if this works?

Sorry it should have read third button from left, this is the band button.
How to turn off sleep countdown mode on digitech AR 1780 radio.
Brian, the solution to your problem is thankfully quite simple. All you need to do is, with the radio switched off, repeatedly press the red on/off button which rotates the sleep countdown period shown in the display until the 'on' sign is shown. This cancels the sleep countdown mode and reverts the radio to a manual on/off state.

Hi David. There seems to be a shortage of manuals for this particular radio. I don't own this Digitech model but two that I do have change the timing by; from the 'off' position pressing the on/odd switch repeatedly until the desired 'on time' is shown in the display window. The radios usually cycle throgh 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes and constantly 'on.' The latter is usually indicated after 120 minutes by no number being shown in that part of the display. I have a DIGITECH AR1721 with Li-ion Battery which for ever needs recharging and then lasts a few hours. Having read the above problems one has to wonder why any one would stock them. I agree, they are rubbish. Avoid!! Wish I had read all these comments before buying.
I agree - (Model AR1721) there is no way of knowing if Battery is fully Charged - just shows a constant red light. I get about 7 hours after leaving it on Charge for 2 hours ….I know it’s cheap but…..constantly recharging via USB means the Lithium Battery will not last that long & it becomes just more Landfill….!! I have a similar radio (Sony) same size - more than double the price but….it is definitely worth the extra $$$$
Au contraire, friends. I have two of these AR1721 models. The charge lasts for about 10 or 11 hours after charging for about three or four hours. The red light does not go out, however. I learnt that after the first couple of recharges. So, I don't worry about it any more. I'm satisfied with the performance of both of them.
I been using a Digitech AR-17733 for a couple of years but now all of a sudden there is no information in the LCD display. I've changed batteries and searched online for answers but to no avail. Fortunately I have programmed in various stations but would like to see that frequencies in the LCD display.
Can this be repaired or do I need a replacement radio?
