Absolute rubbish. Dont buy one – Bought a Dishlex DSF6105X from harvey Norman, Erina about 4-5 years ago. Flooded. Wouldn't wash. Dishlex had 3 goes at fixing it for free on site, even after warranty expired. Ending up taking it away to factory to fix it. Went for 12 months after fix and it has died again. Never buy a Dishlex. Show details

Do not buy Dishlex – The DSF6105X unit I bought 2 years and 2 months ago. Little use, still has the plastic on the front. Dishwashing is okay but not brilliant. Quiet enough. However, has had intermittent fault with the controller (i.e. controls) from purchase and finally when 2 months out of warranty the unit is completely unserviceable and can finally say yes, this… Read more

doesn't work. . The 'fault' flashing LED indicated a blocked pressure switch, had this sorted, now two flashes indicating not draining even when no water in the thing! Dishlex rep tells me bad luck, you can pay a technician to fix it. Sod that, never buy Dishlex!!! Asked Dishlex rep what brand they recommend!!! Other than theirs!

Dishlex – Its useless doesn't wash that well its only 2 years old and now its not heating the water so for the last 2 weeks been hand washing rang head office and spoke to Jade and she said that they would cover the cost of parts because its only 2 years old and I would pay service call $145.00 RIP OFF now they have back tracked and now I have to pay for… Read more

everything then I spoke to Tina who had no phone etiquette rude she couldn't be bothered to hear what I had to say, new dishwasher now not working very disappointed in the way it has been handled I can see why it has been discontinued. I've had many dishwashers that have lasted 8 years and more and never had any problems I think I shouldn't have to pay service call as this product is only 2 YEARS OLD VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

Don't buy this product!! – I have never posted a review before but am so disappointed that I have to post this. Dishes NEVER come clean. We have tried every powder, rinse aid and tablet available. Water jets get blocked with smallest possible bits and cannot be removed to clean them - design was probably done on the cheap and nasty. Dishlex should recall all these useless… Read more

machines. What is the use of a dishwasher that doesn't clean the dishes? Very disappointed in this absolute piece of rubbish. Going to replace with another machine and will rather pay to take this to the tip than give it to someone. Have lived with it till now when I can replace it. No wonder they have discontinued this crap.

Can't clean Dishlex arms – Would never but again the rotating arms constantly block and can't be removed like our previous dishwasher The manual says to remove food particles with tweezers! but that rarelyworks so the machine is frustrating and ineffective in cleaning most times which defeated the whole purpose of having it Tweezers cannot open enough in the hole to grab the food particles so the suggested cleaning method us useless  Show details

Okay when working - which isn't often – We are in a brand new rental house, this washing machine is only 1 year old now, and i think its been broken more often then not. Our real estate hasn't been very efficient with maintenance so we had to try and get it working ourselves. It doesn't recognize that a new cycle has started, lights flash and it fills up a pump or something then just… Read more

Ok when it works but no parts available if it fails. - Update!! New machine sent out, happy now – The machine works ok. The internal layout it average. All to be expected for the price. The problems start when you need warranty assistance. They do not keep the main board in stock in Australia despite this being a high failure rate part. I will be avoiding all electrolux products in the future (see update below) as they refuse to keep… Read more

adequate stock of fast moving warranty repair parts. A quick read of the other reviews for Electrolux made white goods will show this to be their standard behaviour.

Update: Electrolux must read their reviews. After 2 unsuccessful attempts to fix it they sent out a new machine.

Took 3 weeks all up mainly because we could only be available on a Monday. Got to be happy with that!

The new internal layout is a bit better than the old one too.

Review now updated to 4 stars. Great value for the price.

Not consistant – When it is working it does only a so so job, often have to run the cycle 2 or 3 times and even then it does not clean the dishes properly. It has damaged almost all of our dishes. Do not buy this. Run away as fast as you can. It is really disappointing for a brand name like Dishlex to have dropped the ball so much on this dish washer.  Show details

DSF6105X model is not reliable – I purchased this dishwasher in April 2016. It suddenly stopped after using 3 to 4 days a week. Worst Dishwasher EVER!!! – We purchased this dishwasher at the end of June 2015 and just before Christmas last year, it literally stopped working. Upon further inspection, we found that the waste water pump (drain pump) keeps cycling, therefore meaning that the cycle won't end and you can't start a new cycle. We are VERY disappointed as we saved our money to buy this… Read more

dishwasher brand new in order to make life a little easier when our second child arrived. We are a struggling family and can't afford to buy another one so soon and why should we have too? This one should have lasted longer than a year and a half, you can't expected to spend over $500 on a new dishwasher every year and a half, it's just so unfair.

Additionally, from reading the other reviews, it seems to be a design and technical flaw, therefore dishlex should replace our dishwasher or at least get someone out to fix it, free of charge. This really isn't too much to ask considering to the circumstances.

I have contacted dishlex through their website, but haven't gotten as response yet. I have also tried to call them, but their number is ''engaged'.

worst dishwasher ever – Our dishelx dishwasher dsf6105x was purchased for us by our owner (we are tenants) about 3 months ago. I can count on 1 hand the amount of times the dishes have come out clean. It leaves the worst residue all over the dishes even on the smallest of loads. A couple of times it has even spewed bubbles out of the front. Would never willing purchase this brand.  Show details

Don't need to have all the bells and whistles – We needed a new dishwasher. Our smeg was already in our home when purchased. It must have been Bottom of the range, it was so loud it sounded like a plane taking off. The water usage was high I think 17litres. It had no Eco wash and the dishes never came out all clean. Twice I got it fixed and twice I should have replaced it the parts were more… Read more

than the dishwasher was worth the final straw was the third time, when the element died $380 to replace and then labour forget it. Did a lot of reasearch. Choice reviewed dishlex dishwasher really. It's not got all the bells and whistles, but it's excellent. It's very quite, dishes come out clean every time and the machine uses 11.7 litres. We are so happy and we only paid $575.

Very happy with our purchase – We purchased this diswasher about 5 months ago, after our workhorse of 20 years (Dishlex Silent Series) finally stopped working, and have been very happy. It cleans well, is very quiet and dries as well as can be expected. We checked out 'Choice' magazine and the only criteria that stopped it being listed in 'What to buy' was its drying score - 79… Read more

and it needed to be 80 to get a mention. All other aspects scored very well. We are happy as the drying is still better than our old machine and about the same as I have seen from other people's appliances - it is only things with indentations in the base (such as cups and mugs) or plastic ware that doesn't dry properly. The interior is a bit smaller than what we have been used to, so we are running it more frequently, but overall we are extremely happy.

Be Warned This Model Has A Design Flaw - The Spray Arms Are Fixed And Cant Ne Removed! – Have just replaced my previous Dishlex Global 300 with this model. On the surface in the couple of times I've now used it, it works fine although I agree that the drying cycle is not very good. However my biggest bug bear is that the spray arms are now fixed and cannot be removed for cleaning. This is the most ridiculous design change and if I had… Read more

known this before purchasing I would never have bought this model. It never occurred to me to ask the salesman in the shop about this, as its common sense to be able to remove these components. Electrolux obviously expects us all to have to scramble around on our hands and knees and stick our heads inside the appliance with a safety pin to unclog the spray arms. I did contact Electrolux customer service but although they sympathised their only comment was that I should have asked about this feature when purchasing from the store. They said since this feature did not interfere with the ability of the dishwashers performance it was not a problem that needed addressing, they would however pass my complaint on to their design department.

Extremely disappointed – I've had this dishwasher for about 6 months and almost every wash I have to re wash things by hand. I do rinse before hand and wouldn't even bother to put in heavily soiled pots. It all seems to defeat the purpose. all the filters and arms. It doesn't completely dry the dishes and I often have to wipe the rims of glasses etc. I have no complaint about the noise, I find it to be very quiet. I wouldn't recommend this product at all. It was bought for me by my family when I moved into a retirement village so I didn't have the opportunity of research. My previous dishwasher was a Bosch and I was very happy indeed.

A good dishwasher, but be aware of common user faults! – This is a good middle of the range in price and quality, dishwasher. People complain about wash quality, here are a few of the common user fault problems-- 1. Be sure to clean fine mesh filter regularly, as this will easily get blocked and the wash pump cannot suck enough water to pump out and spray, so no wash correctly. 2. Make sure the… Read more

holes in spray arms are not blocked or there will be no spray, and no wash correctly.

3. To dry, open door after cycle complete to release humid hot air, or wait 24 hours to dry. Check your manual for cycle information as the 30 minute cycle has no dry cycle.

I have this model, and I use the 30 minute cycle, and always come out clean and fresh.

Disappointment is an understatement!! – Despite using the high temperature programme it never properly cleans the dishes. And never dries them properly. You have to open it up and leave to dry. Within few weeks of use it started making gurgling noises despite being cleaned regularly. We gave up using short cycles as it does not even rinse the dishes let alone cleans them. I'm not sure… Read more

how anyone who ever used a decent dishwasher could call this one excellent! At times the dishwasher appears to be going for hours after the cycle should have finished and we have to take the plug out which is just simply ridiculous! If you want your dishes clean and dry don't bother looking at this brand! Reviewing other models reviews of this brand they all appear to be verging between terrible and bad!

Not bad – What can I say, it does the job. Not the best dishwasher out there but it does clean the dishes. As a bonus its very quite which is great because I just bought a new rangehood fan and when it's on, it sounds like a jet plan is landing in the kitchen.
