INTRODUCTION After discussing with my partner regarding security at our residential premises; an alarm was on the table; however, after having almost a decade of experience with ADT Security, I did not believe it was worthwhile to do so. Though overall, perhaps it would have been a cheaper alternative.

That being said, an alarm is an alarm nothing more; the rationality behind is that the system triggers due to motion or other factors, resulting in a loud audible sound that alerts your neighbors and the alarm company. It is not designed to stop burglars and would-be thieves in their tracks to go through a coordinated attack on your premises to commit illegal offences.

Furthermore, after walking through the suburb over countless streets, most residential premises have security shutters and blinds over alarm systems. Though most who can afford it, may opt for both.

Doing my research on the Internet like any other person; I came across several companies that specialised in what I was looking for, however when it boiled down to three things; (1) an onsite quote with a professional acumen; (2) customer service + communication; and (3) the price... many of these companies failed on all instances including the well-known brands that are also listed on this website.

So doing more research, I figured I give it a go again on the Internet and looked beyond the territory borders of the A.C.T. to see if there were any other possible candidates. And surely enough there was and it was this company.

BUSINESS As the business is listed here, I came across their details on Google’s search engine and found their website. Though the website in my view requires some additional work to make it more user friendly and especially of its overall structure. They had exactly what I wanted.

After reaching out via email; they were very quickly to respond. And after setting up a date and time to come out to the premises to review, they were again very professional and especially, if they were late, they made sure you knew about it.

CUSTOMER SERVICE As indicated from the above paragraphs, the entire experience has been impeccable. Ranging from the onsite quotation to the installation to communication throughout the entire process, is by far better than expected.

As the title of this review, partly of which says “no nonsense”, this is what I come to expect. Other similar and locally based companies in the area where their sales representatives have tried to impress us by thinking that everything was possible...for a price.

The experience I got from my encounter, is that they will humanise what is realistic and what is not; as well as providing options giving you freedom to make an informed decision.

FINAL THOUGHTS The first time, I had some CrimSafe and Plantation shutters installed and my partner and I couldn’t be more happier. What’s more, I am also having more work done with a complete CrimSafe fit-out as the first time, we only had the front and rear doors done. What’s more, I will also be looking at other residential options.
