Very Disappointing experience and wish we never dealt with them. The worst part of project was dealing with their accounts who are very rude and obnoxious to their clients. Quality of the works was very poor, holes were left in walls and never fixed, incorrect materials used, rep was never helpful during the project and failed to come to site when needed which continually delayed other trades. Buyer beware

To management at dPP Hydronics, recently I had a heatrite underfloor heating installed by an independent electrician. He went over and above to try to rectify the following problem but was unable to fix it. The issue is as follows: I had trouble getting my unit to work. My electrician was not an expert in the workings of the unit, but he tied to… Read more

the best of his ability to rectify the problem as he couldn't through no fault of his own because the unit is faulty, he suggested I call customer service at heatrite. On calling customer service @ heatrite I was continually told without any conversation or answers to my brief questions. "Send an email I will only reply via an email". I then tried to deceiver the manual on my own and the words confused me as to how to fix my problem. After numerous times of calling heatrite, I became frustrated, because my unit was still malfunctioning. I was told by reception that an email had been sent to me but unfortunately, I could not find it. Again, I called and again I was told "I only respond to emails". Finally, after about a week of frustration as to how to proceed and work my unit I was contacted by Matt from dPP. He was given my phone number with a wrong digit previously, so unfortunately couldn't get though. When he finally did our conversation was led by my frustration around the unit and how it was not reading the temperature, staying on continually or not coming on at all. Matt listened and acknowledged my frustration and then told me that there had been faults in other units the same as mine. He then proceeded to inform me that he would send a replacement unit. Within an hour the replacement unit screen shot had been sent to my electrician. I am so grateful to Matt for his listening skills, his commitment to his job and the conversation he had with me. His skills in customer service are to be commended. I feel that for a multileveled business to excel it would be in your best interest to have some formal customer service training for some of your other staff. I'm sure it would of benefit for your reception and heatrite servicing team. I give heatrite and the customer service a zero. But because of Matt I will give you 5 stars. Well done Matt I hope management acknowledges your commitment to your job and your listen listening skills. I hope they also hear our concerns about the complicated manual being written in a less formal. So that it is presented in an easy step by step way. Also an updated YouTube that customer service could give the link to would help future customers to understand the unit more easily. Kind regards M

Greatful Oldies – We recently had our regular heating service by the most delightful and helpful young man, who deserves a big pat on the back for his charming manner, thorough service procedure and helping re-tune our system to winter mode. Show details

A bunch of cowboys this company and incompetent on so many levels – I do not write many reviews but this experience wanted me to make people aware of how incompetent the company and their service is. I do not think there is enough characters to bring everything to your attention but after reading other reviews it seems this is how they do business. On the front end when their is sales to be made they are extremely… Read more

proactive however once we get beyond this it really goes to the core of their business - incompetency and cowboys! I might just dot point this. 1. They do not turn up when they say they will and their roughin workmanship is sub-par. I had a project in 2021/2022 for an installation of hydronic heating and underfloor mats and my builder had to call them back over a 6 month period cause their work is messy or needed to be re-worked. Everytime we called them back it was a new member because most of the time the other employees had changed job - probably talks to their culture in their business. 2. When it came to installation, i had a boiler unit on the roof - they had the old plans and delayed my project weeks because they had to make a roof unit for it to sit on. When they finally came to install they put holes in my roof, and the sleaves on the panels were all crookered - it took them 5 seperate visits to straighten up - each time promising me it would only take half a day and i reckon it took them 5 full days. 3. Be careful on the upsell - they then call you to offer wi fi on the mats and they dont work. Blaming 5g/4K and when you get that fixed they then ask you to get an electrician to refit. 4. Be careful how they charge - their record keeping is shocking - we found as we made changes to amount of panels/products they never keep a record and they can overcharge without offering a refund because they prefer credit notes. 5. customer service - my god. do not return calls, they have the courage to speak down to customers... do not think i have ever seen anything like that. Tried speaking to the owner...he does not care more focused on the front line. Wish i never used them cause stuck with them for 10 years on the warranty piece - be careful and read other reviews because its true.

Enough already! – Dealing with this company is harder than extracting teeth from a chicken. Demanding payment for the 'next stage' when the stage paid for is not finished, nowhere near finish or not even started is the norm. An apology from them because I was "lost in the system" (for three or four months) after "a system update" just shows how well they managed my… Read more

emails and calls to progress this 'alleged' installation. Talk about falling on deaf ears.. Sheer incompetence. Progress made? A promise to finish the installation to commissioning stage by the 8th. or 9th. of December 2022. The promise broken, only one third of the install is done by this date. The remaining panels are leaning on a wall, taking up space in my garage, yes that date has come and gone.. It is now the 18th. of February 2023, After myriad emails that went nowhere, I finally hear from [Name Removed], the Operations Manager, via email on the 21st. of Jan 2023. [Name Removed] writes pure fiction as an excuse for this current delay in his email. I reply immediately to this diatribe and are yet to receive a reply. He does not return emails or calls. I still have no idea what is going on or when this install is going to happen. Still the invoices keep coming. I called the 1300 number yesterday, 17th. of Feb 2023, to once again try to speak with the Operations Manager, [Name Removed], but [Name Removed] who does not return calls or reply to emails had already gone home. This call was around 3pm. Instead, I was directed to the "new" project manager, Casey. She paid me excellent lip service, I must say. Told me that my file was a mess, that the job will be done and all of the other sweet things I wanted to hear. I asked her to kindly send the content of our phone discussion to me via email. She happily confirmed my email address so she could do exactly that. I had heard similar in the past though, so I was not surprised to find absolutely zero from Casey in my inbox this morning but instead, another invoice for the "next stage" when the stage that has been paid for and should have been completed 5 or 6 months ago is, for the most part, still sitting in my garage.

And I certainly hope that gaping holes and pvc pipe is not the finished product through the floors.

Hopefully this honest review will motivate someone at dPP Hydronics to get my job done now.

Reliable, excellent quality, competitive prices – We installed hydronic heating years ago, everywhere. dPP installed new boilers when they were needed, and made adjustments to the existing systems as our needs changed. They were reliable, and did a great job. What makes them excellent is the service they provided, when during a cold-snap in Melbourne, one of the hydronic heating boilers developed… Read more

a leak, possibly due to the earthquake. This quickly escalated into a loud banging noise and water spewing everywhere. dPP responded to my emergency call promptly, walked me through the steps to stop both, the water spew and the noise, and came to the rescue! We had heating back on in no time. The service received was excellent, the relief we felt was priceless! Thank you dPP.

Excellent Service - Highly Recommend!! – From start to finish, the team were so helpful and informative! Having dealt with quite a few other hydronic companies before, I found dPP to be extremely helpful and straight-forward - the team really know their stuff! Very pleased with the service they provided.

Superb hydronic small bore radiator heating system – We installed the DPP hydronic boiler and radiator panels in our old (1905) house as part of a renovation. The underfloor gap was so small I wouldn't go there but the DPP team installed their pipes and even removed the old forced air system that was under the floor. We have had no issues with our builders and have recently installed two more… Read more

radiators to our existing system without drama. We have found DPP to be receptive and prompt to enquiries and they have maintained our system ever since. Recently we changed the thermostat to a Google Nest which was done during part of a routine service again without any fuss. My wife and I think they are great!.

Very poor service and technical knowledge – Don’t bother ringing. Ignore the slick marketing. Don’t know their stuff. Have a system that ran seamlessly for 10 years. Thought I’d get a service to avoid any problems. Have only had problems since. Leaked and flooded my office because a manifold (That they’d checked) wasn’t tightened properly. Wouldn’t come on over the long weekend at the… Read more

start of Winter. Now runs so much that gas bill has doubled. They blame the thermostat or the gas company.

no response from dPP – We asked for a quote for an installation via the Sydney office and did not get an answer. We were persistent and found out later from the company worker that no answer means that they are not interested. We thought this was not good communication. You would expect that you would at least get an answer to be informed that the company is not… Read more

willing to do your project. We contacted the company again ( now main Melbourne office ) and were informed somebody would return our call but we were never contacted again.

**FAULTY PRODUCT THEY WILL NOT FIX** – I purchased 3 underfloor heating mats for a new house. 1 of them works the other 2 do not work. I have contacted the supplier through eBay and via email many times but they are very slow to respond and haven't provided a solution to fix this problem yet! At one point in the message conversations they said just return the mats for a refund and as… Read more

you can image I have all the floors tiled so i was very disappointed to get an answer like that! The products clearly are faulty and the supplier is not interested in helping me fix the problem. They said I needed to test the system so I was sent a testing devise. I tested them all and they all tested fine so I know there is no breaks or cuts in the mat or wires. I would not recommend this company or there products because they clearly don't care about there customers. I can't leave feedback on ebay as I purchase the mats when i was building and by the time I finish the project and moved in the feedback period had expired so i just wanted to warn the public that if the product doesn't work don;t expect any help or for it to be fixed

Once you go Hydronic you Don't Go Back :) – Recently completed a small build in Mornington and then had dPP hydronic's install a hydronic heating system. Since the cold snap I've really realised how good the heating system is. The dPP team was very good with communicating with me, and i even received a text the morning they were due to tell me that they were on their way. They were… Read more

very respectful of my home and even took off their shoes every time they came in.

Both the staff in the office, and the installers that came to my home were all professional and knew their stuff.
