thought it was strange, so I looked into it and (finally) read their reviews.. Low and behold when I called them, they said that the item was on back-order with their supplier.. Funny that, considering it seems to be their standard line to everyone. I ended up calling the supplier myself, and amazingly they advised that the heater I had purchased had not been sold in Australia for years! So no idea where Billy's was even getting this old stock from...

I called Billy's and cancelled the order, and they advised that they would send it to their accounts department for refund. What a load of trash, are they the only online store in the world that can't automatically refund a sale when it's cancelled?? So as others have also said, it didn't get refunded. It took another phone call to Billy's to ask why, the guy said he'd take care of it that afternoon. That didn't happen, obviously. So I've had to make a chargeback through my CC company now.

An absolutely untrustworthy and deceitful company, who lie and steal straight to their customers faces... I have absolutely no idea how they are still trading. I will be reporting them to fair trading, and I recommend that everyone else that has an issue with them do the same, as that's the only way dodgy companies like this get put out of business and stop wasting peoples time.

responsibility to cover return postage costs. Do not waste your time or money with appliances through big W as they support companies like billy guyatts on marketplace who sell through big W stores.

but what's even more surprising is that the mat was not new, handed to me with no packaging around it, had clear discolouration marks of being used and had a small hole in the middle. It was a cheap buy true, but if I wanted to purchase a second hand and worn down item, I would have gone to a marketplace instead. Absolutely horrendous experience. Never again

Purchased a dryer that showed as being in stock as our previous one died and we needed one as soon as possible for the winter. could’ve bought somewhere else but decided to go with these guys and need to find out. They then said have no stock and it will be at least six weeks and Winter would be over open said they’d give a refund but this seems to take forever. Warning read other reviews often sell things with no stock stay away.

SCAMMERS! – The worst service ever. No customer support. They sell products they don't have in stock. i would highly recommend to SKIP this scammer. They sold us a faulty product and as soon as we started the refund process they became silent. They will promise a golden chicken while they deliver [Content Removed]!

you’ve already paid.

We’ve now been waiting a full month for a freezer that was advertised within that 2–7 day window.

The most frustrating part is the response from their phone team — they openly admit it’s a known issue, but offer little more than a “sorry” with no real solution or accountability.

 Follow-up  · Update - they ended up sending another model (still took over a month) and that new model ended up damaged. They offered $30 compensation for the damage which was an insult, or a replacement model but that was still out of stock and estimating over 6 weeks away. Hopeless.

Purchased a Clothes steamer 10 months ago and now it doesn't steam properly, got in touch with these guys and was told to send it back at my cost which is wrong. I could understand if it was my fault but this is not the case. Wish I had of read all the review on this company before I purchased.

 Follow-up  · They have not contacted me. As all I want is for them to pay for postage back to them as for it's not my fault that the machine doesn't work properly.

Fabulous - extremely powerful stick vacuum cleaner – This vacuum cleaner is wonderful! It came with 2 little attachments- the little brush tool and the crevice tool. Also 3 power heads - the hard floor, the carpet and a mattress head. I had never had to change heads when moving from carpet to hard floor but I have with this and am glad I did. better. The LG has an on/off switch which is great - the Dyson has a trigger which hurt my entire arm after about 5 minutes. The LG offers an adjustable length which is so helpful when doing stairs or reaching up high. Being able to put it on a stand is also very convenient. You can put it anywhere and having the extra battery charging while you are vacuuming is ideal. I also really like that there are 3 suction options - turbo, while using a lot of battery, is great for that spill that you just want to pick up real quick.

No hesitation in recommending this vacuum cleaner.

received any form of update. The obvious continued bad practice (based on these reviews) seems to go unaddressed. It seems this known "system" issue has been occuring for a very very long time. Not sure if they've been reported to fair trading but this is really poor form.

Takes payment for out-of-stock items, communication channels broken. I strongly advise against purchasing from Billy Guyatts. They took payment for an item they did not have in stock, failed to deliver it or even provide a tracking number, and their customer service infrastructure is broken - it is impossible to get an answer as to when the item will be delivered. Show details

Purchased item online. After a week recieved email. Item was not in stock and there would be a delay as they sourced the item. After sourcing the item 4 weeks they charged us for the item at the agreed price which included a delivery fee with Australia Post and an extended warranty. from Western Australia to the east coast. Found out when the item was not delivered there was no communication it was being delivered on a certain date that thiscourier only delivers weekdays so the item was taken to their depot and can be collected weekdays. They are not open weekends and only 8 to 5 weekdays. We are unavailable weekdays and keep this in mind when we purchase items online so will always buy when seller nominates Australia Post as they will work with you to get item delivered.

After finding out the item was not being deliverwd and we had no way of collecting spoke via chat line with with Billy Guyatts. Reprentative said it is being delivered by courier as thats what his computer told him. I advised my invoice from Billy Guyatts says delivery bynAust Post and there was a charge for this service. Basically was told bad luck I would need to collect as this is the arrangement that was chosen. Asked can I get it delivered to nearby store which I can get to on weekends. Can the item be left at the premises. Answer to everything was not our or the dwlivery companys policy. Then got cut off. I wwnt back online and got the same representative said I was not going to push my case any more can I just get a transcript of our discussion emailed through. Told this was unavailable but I could screenshot it. This though had disappeared when I was cut off earlier. I finished by asking how do we get this sorted. Was told well thats all they can do. My next step I went into local store last Saturday. They said we can cancel the order. The item then gets sent form Victoria back to WA (waste of fuel in an energy crisis). In the meantime the local store puts through a new order which can now be filled by a local store and the order will be delivered by Aust Post. This was to be confirmed on the following monday and I would be contacted with new order no. Another week goes by. Did not hear from Billy Guyatts but received a daily message from the courier company to collect item from their warehouse. So another Saturday trek to the local store. Who did I speak too? Nothing on record makes much sense. After ringing around it is understood that once item gets back to Perth you will get a credit. You can then do whatever you want to do. I said "no" the local store was going to order the vaccuum and get it delivered. Change of staff member who suggested would never buy anything online goes through the same follow up but this time comes back with once item arrives back in WA credit will be processed then we can put in the replacement order. So it will now be another week before order is placed and then god only knows how long until it is delivered.

But now the sale is off on all other online stores, the price has doubled ($700 to $1300) If they hadn't mislead me, I would have got my fridge for the same cost in other online stores during the sale.

I struggled a lot during christmas and kids school holidays time with no fridge.

Now I have to wait for 4 months for this fridge (they might change the delivety again to April, then May n so on) as I am forcefully locked with them.

Please never risk ur money with Billy Guyatts

customer service. After multiple follow ups we were sent an email saying they were out of stock but could offer us an inferior model "for no additional charge".

On searching reviews for Billy Guyatts I found dozens saying "don't trust these clowns" and commenting that Billy Guyatts' standard practice is to advertise items at inflated prices - even though they don't have them in stock and they know their wholesalers don't have them either.

Billy Guyatts are dishonest and deceptive operators. I would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

after repeated attempts to get an update I was told that the item had not actually been ordered but they had ordered it now and to wait a week. After waiting 2 weeks I followed up again looking for either immediate delivery or a refund. 6 weeks had gone by and I really felt like I had been scammed including a few restless nights thinking about my mistake. To make matters worse the purchase was an engagement present and the engagement party had come and gone. All I could offer the couple was an apology and a promise to get them their present eventually. I did eventually receive a refund so it’s not really a scam in my case. I have now bought a similar item from a reputable online appliance trader which I ordered on a Friday and it was delivered the following Monday morning with automated updates provided along the way. Now to drop it over to the engaged couple and put this saga behind me.

I Purchased a Barbeque on 28/12/24 and got nothing except excuses for delay and having no stock! so on the 3/05/25 I got a refund instead of a barbeque. Over four months wasted!

Bought a washing machine that said in stock and ready for premium delivery, estimated delivery time said 3-7 days. Heard nothing after 5 days, contacted their customer service who said the product wasn’t in stock and would be delivered mid June - Order date was 25th of April. Awful and misleading.

directly. The rangehood was not delivered nor did we receive anything via email in over a week so I called to find out what was happening. Nothing had happened with the order - it was still sitting there untouched. They said we would miss Xmas as it was too late. I received an invoice on 27 December and we still have no rangehood so it seems like nothing was even processed when I called to follow up before Xmas. We have a nice sticky floor from cooking dinner without a rangehood when hosting our family for Xmas though. Billy Guyetts seemingly couldn’t have cared less to be honest.

Scammers, do not trust this company – I think they might be scammers. No order confirmation. Cannot reach them. Terrible customer service, if you get on hold it will just cut out. I will be taking this to my bank to reverse the charge. They are essentially a dropship company with no stock and very little support.
