Waste of time and money

Sold an item that wasn't in stock, was not told about it

Sold an item that wasn't in stock, did not inform me at all... until 2 weeks later I had to call and was told they were going to send it straight away, and it wasn't shipped earlier because they were waiting for stock to arrive.... The website at the time had indicated "limited stock" but also "ready to ship".

So I was lied to I guess?

Chose them initially as they had the best price, but during those 2 weeks of waiting the item became cheaper at another retail store. Show details

Billy Guyatts isn't the old Billy

Just like many other reviews on here they show they have stock on their website, take your money and then a day or two later send an email telling me they are waiting on stock!

I replied with a cancellation and immediate refund request.
Took one or two weeks to get the refund.
This meant waiting 2x weeks before I could purchase my washing marching. Show details

New Iron Purchase

I honestly had one of the best interactions I’ve had with a retailer in years. I ordered a product from their site I couldn’t find in any stores. Turned out to be pretty popular and the online store sold out as well so the customer service representative told me she would find a store that had the item and get it to me.

I thought this was going to be a painful drawn out process then 48hours later it arrived. I did not expect such responsive service. All round cheaper than others and put in more effort. 100% recommend. Show details

Scammers, do not trust this company

I think they might be scammers. No order confirmation. Cannot reach them. Terrible customer service, if you get on hold it will just cut out. I will be taking this to my bank to reverse the charge.

They are essentially a dropship company with no stock and very little support.

Do they actually have stock?

Ordered a Westinghouse Cook-top. Website said there was Limited Stock. 3hrs later, I get an email saying no stock until Mid May. Well I can't wait till mid May. I need a new cook-top now. So I was refunded. I ended up getting the same cook-top elsewhere (and within 24 hrs)... Luckily I was able to cover the expense of both cook-tops while waiting for my refund. Stock levels should be more accurate. If you need something now, don't rely on Billy Guyatts. Show details

Top service all the way

Excellent service all the way, from phone ordering (Phyllis) to continued advice of progress on my delivery. Fridge price was very good, delivery was prompt and free, and they took away the old fridge. I was delighted with the whole process and couldn't ask for more. Show details

Purchased a kettle and toaster set from them. Kettle was faulty right away and the toaster stopped working 7 months after purchase. They were EXTREMELY difficult to deal with in regards to getting a due replacement of my faulty items. It took multiple emails and frustrating phone calls to get anywhere with them. The worst service ever. No customer support. They sell products they don't have in stock. i would highly recommend to SKIP this scammer. Do not use these guys for anything. Website said 5-7 business day to deliver to our address. We were told the item is in the warehouse and have been lied to MULTIPLE times.

Fast forward 2 weeks later and now been told it’s a further 4 business days to get the order sorted, and the. Up to 15 business days for delivery.

Do NOT buy from these. Pay the extra and go to Harvey Norman or the good guys. ABSOLUTE JOKE. Show details

I ordered a toaster as a gift online. 2 weeks later I was still chasing it. Then I made a call to be told that the supplier had run out and they weren't getting anymore. Why advertise then? Do you remove old appliances, fridge for eg.

Contract entered into on 5 August 2022, payment made on 5 August 2022.
As at 21 August 2022 the purchased dishwasher has not been delivered.
I have not received any correspondence as to the purchased product.
I require the company fulfil its obligations under the contract with me forthwith or I shall recind the contract and request my money be refunded immediately.
Any financial damage I have suffered in respect to being unable to purchase this product for the given price and having to source another service company I shall seek damages.

Not surprised. As per my earlier review this Company does not hold most goods they sell in stock and rely on the product distributor to supply them then ship to the customer.
