thing to be aware is that it doesn’t come with the carpet attachment and you have to order separately. All delivered quite quickly.

Worth buying – Variety of brushes and different power levels. This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. It is light-weight and easy to manoeuvre. The different attachments are easily interchangeable.and work extremely well

Great machine – At 150aw of suction this puts it at the same suction level as the dyson V10 which sells for roughly double the price. not doing its job but running through the house of timber flooring and mats left me with a dust bin full of debris. I tried it again a week later thinking it would not pick up much but it surprised once again by picking up the things you don't see. Suction is more than adequate and it runs over most mats in medium mode without sucking the mat up . The ECO mode like the Dyson is under whelming and next to useless . Remember that decibel readings in a normal room hover at 24 to32 decibels , so when I tested this at all 3 levels it came in at 66 to72 decibels so you can see this is quite a good result. The one thing I found as a godsend was the lock for the trigger. Not having to keep constant pressure on the trigger saves a lot of fatigue and pain. You might think this is a small thing but believe me not having to hold that down while vacuuming decreases fatigue in the hands so anyone who has arthritis will love this.

Most of the accessories are of comparable quality to a Dyson but the fact you can unclip the head and plug in the flexible extension is just fantastic. Being able to use it in the car and in confined spaces, like, down the back of kitchen cupboards puts it streets ahead of anything I have used. The one thing I did not like was the built in battery. Having many power tools I am used to having an extra battery or two but with this cleaner its built in so you are stuck with its run times. That is something that needs to be fixed in newer models, but I did notice that their more expensive models have a removeable battery and 185AW of suction power but that will cost you a premium price. Over all , for the price it's hard to beat. It works as good as a Dyson V10/V11 the feel and quality of the machine is very similar . A short update 2025. The vacuum cleaner has been losing power and it wont hold a charge for more than 10 minutes, so I have to say it's disappointing and will probably send me back to a chorded model.

Edit: Failed after 6 Months – This cordless vacuum and all the add-on accessories are very structurally solid and appear to be made of good quality products. The HEPA filter and the cyclone filter are very easy to get to when they require cleaning as are both the brush bars that will need a clean here and there. was able to get vacuuming after completing a full charge of about three hours.

The main multi-brush with the long pole works great on all of our carpets, rugs and hardwood floors. My first usage, on the super-duper Turbo Mode, saw the V11 pick up soooo much cat hair and dust that our old vacuum obviously missed a couple of days before. The suction power was amazing and, as such, I did have to empty the dust container quite a few times (but that's a good thing). I think now that I've done a Turbo vacuum I will be able to save battery life and use the mid-range Med or Eco modes for regular cleaning and only use Turbo once a month or when there is excessive dirt on the floors.

Edit after 6 months of use.

The V11 no longer works on Turbo mode as it throws up a blockage detected error and shuts off. It will then only work on Medium or Eco modes about 50% of the time, the other 50% gives the same error and also shuts off. I have completely pulled apart and cleaned every single piece that can be cleaned (as per instructions) plus visually inspected every hole, crevice and part that I can and there is NOTHING blocking it yet the error persists.

I messaged Dreame and was told to send them a video of the error. This was done immediately but we are yet to receive any response to the video or any solution to the problem.

Initially, the Xiaomi Dreame V11 renewed my interest and appreciation of cordless vacuums and I had no hesitation in recommending this unit (initially gave it 5 stars) but now that it is a glorified piece of inoperable home decor I have reduced the score down. The only reason it still gets 2 stars is because when I used to work it was a pretty good cordless vac.

Battery Issue – I purchased the v11 just over a year ago and am now faced with constant error messages and cut out when trying to use the Turbo function (which is the only one that truly cleans properly). Avoid Dreame Completely – Vacuum worked well enough for quick daily tidy-ups over the downstairs tile floor - small open kitchen dining area for a short time. very short 'rest assured your enquiry has been forwarded to our 'higher department' for review - for the past 3 months. The unit has now also stopped charging and we struggle to see any point even bothering to ask Dreame for replacement with the abismal warrenty customer service. Avoid this cheap brand - it does the job, but is STILL far too expensive for a unit to not even last 12 months of extremely light domestic use. UPDATE: We were contacted by Dreame via Product Review's mediation platform with the same sub-standard fob-off I've come to know from this company and haven't heard a thing since. Just avoid altogether and save your money for a reputable brand.

Battery failure a few months after 12 month warranty period over – The dreame v11 previously worked well but in the past few months, the suction power has dropped dramatically to the point that the rotating brush head attachment is not even spinning on turbo mode. Awful to empty – The power and running time of this vacuum are both OK but fluff and almost anything larger than dust get caught in the canister behind a rubber ring that separates the debris entry and cannister. So, while the bottom of the canister flips open for (ostensibly) one-touch emptying, I always have to get a knife or old toothbrush to pull out the gunk behind the rubber ring - which is about 95% of the contents. Value For Money Disappointing Powerhead – Dreame V11 was purchased when looking at other options including the Dyson equivalents which costs a lot more. normal head or soft roller head. The pipe or tube is aluminium not plastic. The dust compartment has a rubber seal at the Max point. Dirt can get past this seal which makes it hard to clean out fully. You need a small brush to get past the seal. Battery life is good for about 30minutes of vaccuming. Overall it's a good unit the only thing that would make it better would be an improved powerhead and the seal in the dust compartment.

such product in the 1-year timeframe - especially with medium usage. Not happy with my decision. Got it from eBay . So most probably end up as a regret buy and switch to other brands.

verdict was that the battery was not function properly and needed a full replacement. I returned the full unit along with the original box plus all accessories. A few days later I received the main unit nothing else ,the model sent was for a 2017(V9) one not the latest one I had originally purchased. I returned this one back hoping to get the V11, no again I received the V9 and only the unit (motor) only. I truly had enough of going back and forth to the post office and requested a full refund.
