Battery failure a few months after 12 month warranty period over
The dreame v11 previously worked well but in the past few months, the suction power has dropped dramatically to the point that the rotating brush head attachment is not even spinning on turbo mode. Eco mode is unusable. The v11 has not been used much as we also have a dyson v10. Appears that the battery cannot be replaced.

Awful to empty.
The power and running time of this vacuum are both OK but fluff and almost anything larger than dust get caught in the canister behind a rubber ring that separates the debris entry and cannister. So, while the bottom of the canister flips open for (ostensibly) one-touch emptying, I always have to get a knife or old toothbrush to pull out the gunk behind the rubber ring - which is about 95% of the contents. Avoid.

Really does the job well!
A friend recommended this for my parents. I have a more expensive very well known brand that is double the price and I cannot really tell the difference. I tried the dreame cordless V11 before reluctantly giving it to my folks. They love it, and I wish I had known about this before buying the more expensive other brand! Lol I guess!
The only thing to be aware is that it doesn’t come with the carpet attachment and you have to order separately. All delivered quite quickly.

Amazing
I was stuck on what to buy after my Dyson stick broke down. The Dreame v11 had some good reviews and for a third of the price I decided to try it out. It arrived today well packaged and very simple to put together. Unfortunately I had to fully charge it prior to using. It felt great, amazing suction on turbo, had to back it off to medium on the shaggy mat or it would have ripped some threads. My carpet is thick and short, it sucked up the tiniest pieces of dust and dirt from the carpet roots. Really impressive. I have floor boards also, my old Dyson used to blow bits around making it hard to suck them up, this dreame handled them all with one movement. Time will tell but so far I absolutely love this stick.

Avoid Dreame Completely
Vacuum worked well enough for quick daily tidy-ups over the downstairs tile floor - small open kitchen dining area for a short time. At 9 Months in the wheels fell off the vacuum head and we've been in contact with Dreame since for either repair or replacement of the head through warrenty. Customer service has been a useless snail-paced stream of very short 'rest assured your enquiry has been forwarded to our 'higher department' for review - for the past 3 months. Great machine
At 150aw of suction this puts it at the same suction level as the dyson V10 which sells for roughly double the price.
Now, I tested a Dyson V11 back in 2019 and gave it a 3 star rating on Product review so this basically is a comparison to what I already know.
The first thing that struck me was how quiet this machine is ,it made me think it was not doing its job but running through the house of timber flooring and mats left me with a dust bin full of debris.
I tried it again a week later thinking it would not pick up much but it surprised once

Love it, perfect for our cleaning
Had other stick cleaners and this one is by far the best. Only have small house approx 109sqm. This fills the catcher. Very light and easy to manouvre. Great with cocker spaniel hair, in fact this is the most filling for the canister. 2 suggestions for Xiaomi: make the stick stand on its own, and 2 have a push down mechanism for emptying the canister. Thank you for this great cleaner, makes life so much easier.

Terrible
Definitely not worth the money. Broke in less than 5 months! Barely used it. Definitely worth the extra money to buy a good quality stick vacuum over this. Plus if you lose the charger it came with good luck buying another one with an Australian adapter because they don’t exist! You can’t even buy a charger separately. Worst purchase of 2022.

Value For Money Disappointing Powerhead
Dreame V11 was purchased when looking at other options including the Dyson equivalents which costs a lot more. The unit was purchased for vacuuming floor rugs, timber floors and tiles.
The powerhead is disappointing, is small and hard to push.
The unit has 3 speeds they are eco, medium and turbo.
The unit is lightweight and easy to use with the normal head or soft roller head.
The pipe or tube is aluminium not plastic.
The dust compartment has a rubber seal at the Max point. Dirt can get past this seal which makes it hard to clean out fully. Yo

Awesome product. Vacuuming has been made easy, mopping the floors made easy.
The Dyson v11 works well on all surfaces , removing all the dog hair with ease and with the mopping attachment cleaning the floor has been made easier. The extra attachments make cleaning the window tracks easy.

Does anyone recommend for carpet? Struggling to find a vacuum that has powerful suction and good on carpet.
I absolutely recommend for carpet and all surfaces. The carpet is mostly where my cocker spaniel pet hair is, and is the most filler of the canister. Cannot go past the Xiaomi.

I can recommend this for carpets the medium mode is probably the mode to chose. Eco mode is as weak as a Dyson and the turbo mode is quite strong and I found it lifts mats and is hard to move much like the Dyson as for power its 150AW which is the same as a Dyson V10
I purchased the V11 from Kogan and have been in contact with them as the charger stopped working in less than a year of purchasea and I also purchased a 3 year extended warranty. They have advised me that they do not have any spare parts/charger for this va and asked for me to source and they will reimburse me with a credit.
I cannot find any replacement chargers. What are my options given it is under warranty?

They don’t have a replacement charger either nor can I find another one anywhere. They have asked me to source! Poor customer service on both sides. It’s your product and yet you can’t supply what I need. No one is taking any responsibility or assisting.

That's what I ended up doing but being in Australia, I also had to get an adaptor as no Australian plugs available for this model.
I ordered Dreame V11 vacuum cleaner from Gearbite (ebay) on 27 November 2021 (arrived on 6 Dec) for my daughter to move out in Feb this year. Unfortunately I did not check the unit thought a gift should not be opened. Recently my daughter asked me how to take out the filters to wash. As we discussed I found out the dustbin cannot be opened properly from the beginning. As the dustbin only opens halfway, she had to put her hand inside to pull out the dirt. It's impossible to take out the filters to wash. That means the unit which was bought for around 6 months and has been used for under 4 months is useless now.
I contacted Gerbite on 23 May 2022. They replied that "the spring can rebound automatically if installed correctly" and they asked me to fix it on my own by attaching a utube link.
From what they wrote in the email, it is very obvious this is manufacturer's fault. The manufacturer did not install the bin correctly. I emailed Gearbite again on 25 May telling them it is too complicated for me to fix it and asked them to help. Very disappointing till now (15 days from my last email), they do not response.
This is a good vacuum cleaner but if there is any issue, you are on your own. It seems there is no after sale support in Australia. I am hesitate to purchase any Xiaomi product in future.
