This was the best deodorant I have ever used and probably ever will use. But no more. Schwarzkopf & Henkel decided to sell the brand, formula, rights, I believe to a US company in early 2023. So that's it... gone. I bought every can I could find in every store that stocked it locally. The dozen or so cans I had are now all used. Twenty to twenty-five years I used this deodorant - maybe longer. No need to try anything different, because it just worked. I still keep the last empty can in the bathroom cupboard hoping that one day a smarter company will bring this brand back to market. I can still take the lid off the empty can and smell what I once had - a perfect deodorant. Yeah, sounds crazy, but that's how much I miss this product. Now, I search for an alternative. The majority of deodorants sold today are garbage and I feel like I'm getting maced every morning. Nivea Sensitive was ok, almost 4x the price, but nothing compared with Dry Idea. Now Nivea has changed to a new formula. So where to now... do I import Dry Idea from the US hoping it's the same formulation or keep stinking up the supermarket aisle in a desperate search for a bearable alternative? A special thanks to the executives at Schwarzkopf & Henkel for taking Dry Idea out of the Australian market. You've lost a customer for life. Anything I pick up that has that little white head logo on it goes straight back on the shelf.

Purchased in at Coles for $2.50.

Why stop production/distribution in Australia. Nothing is as good as it – Why stop production/distribution in Australia. Nothing is as good as it.

No pain and No Stain – Finding a deodorant for my partner than does burn is difficult enough but to find one that doesn’t burn and that actually works is a bonus. Add no staining and the nice fresh smell of baby powder and you have Dry Idea. Love it but often difficult to locate in the shops.

USED IT FOR YEARS. DOES THE JOB AND DOES NOT STAIN CLOTHES – Very good product. I have used it for years and found that it does the job and does not leave stains on clothes like some other, more expensive, deodorants.

Purchased for $2.50.

Australian made and washes off easily – I found this product (Dry Idea Sport Aerosol Deodorant For Men) at Coles hiding on the bottom shelf. It was only $2.50 a can so I was sceptical at first. I checked where it was made, and it turns out it is made in Australia. I have been using this deodorant for about a week now and I’m happy with its performance. Most importantly, at the end of the day it washes off without any effort.

I’m happy with my purchase and will be stocking up on this deodorant when I next visit Coles.
