DSE 3.6V Cordless

Excellent Over 10 years service – I have been in England for 10 years now so I have used this for about 12 years. I thought the battery was on its last legs so I pulled it apart. The battery (3x AA Ni-Cd, 700mAh tabbed in pullapart case) is fine but I found a bad dry joint on the motor. Easy fix for me. And now easy-ish to replace the battery if I need to. One big negative is that the soft feel surface has been sticky for years; yuk. Two more plusses. I always use it straight as I find the gun shape useless for keeping it square on the head. Also the socket is magnetised to hold tools really well.

Tip on disassembly; mind that little spring on the yellow lock. Mine sprung out and it took me 30 minutes to find it!

DSE- cordless screwdriver – This handy little driver has got some grunt. Great find in opp, shop for $5 I put together my new letter box and took the old one apart plus many other small projects with only a few charges. I just love it and use it more than my other cordless drills. small and handy battery may need a charge for big jobs

Good – does the job when needed, not allot of power when screwing in longer screwes (30mm or longer) but will do it eventually small convenient- good for tool box batterys run down too quick
