These mattresses have a soft side and a firm side. However, I would describe the soft side as very firm and the firm side as extremely firm. If you don't like a very firm mattress then you probably won't like this one. Fortunately, I do like a firm mattress and I was sick of mattresses where you can feel and hear the springs, so I am mostly happy with it, although it would be better if it was a little less firm.

These mattresses come with a memory foam pillow. The pillow is also very firm and a very large size.
