3/5 Stars Mustang Deal! – Was politely assisted by a car salesman, Was looking to make a deal, but was unable due to lack of T'cs and C's being met!, Was a decent drive up there, met some of the crew, they seem relaxed chilled and with positive vibes! Would highly recommend! I feel 3/5 Stars is a solid rating, hopefully better luck next time!
Worst experience ever – This is hands down the worst experience of my wife and I life. I don’t even know where to start… we went in to look at some cars and fell in love with one. We let the salesman Justin know that we would like to purchase the vehicle and we already have the money. Signed a contract then got sent to the next room with a lady that completely flat out… Read more
lied to us, who convinced us to buy extras we didn’t need. She said once you leave this room you will not be able to get these offers again. (Which was a complete lie) she even tried to cover her tracks by offering free tint, which we found out later it was added on to the invoice. Then we got sent to the next room with a short arrogant boy named Alex, now beware of this boy he is the rudest, arrogant, liar I have ever meet in my life. Upon reviewing the final invoice I noticed that Alex was trying to add $6000 with of extras on to it, I then rang Alex and told him that I did not want the extras. Alex told me TO BAD you are not getting out of anything that you signed, where I explained we want the vehicle just not all the bulls..t extras you have added on. And he still refused and hung up on me. So we got some legal advice where they noticed that Alex made some crucial mistakes and they could not hold us to the contract. I had to ring the principal dealer and the used car manager to get any results which still took days and at least 30+ phone calls. If you do there stay away from the lady in the first room and Alex, in this day and age with everyone in hard times I would hate to see this happen to someone else.
Justin the salesman was absolutely great we had no dramas with him. And Mr Jago was also great and sorted a lot of thing out for us but only once they knew they mucked up.
TOYOTA - OH WHAT A CRAP FEELING!!!!!! – Purchased a 2018 Landcruiser. Nothing but drama since. Car had a steering issue and that was written in the contract to be fixed. Picked the car drove down the road, steering problem not resolved, returned car to dealership. They then come pick the car two days later, return car saying it's fixed. I drive the car it's not fixed. Two weeks later,… Read more
no response from dealership so I call Toyota Australia. I get a call from Maddington Toyota Operations Manager who comes to my house, spins some salesperson stories and leaves saying, that's easy fixed, I'll drop by Thursday morning at 8:30am, leave you my car and take yours in. At 9:00am i decide to message him as he clearly isnt showing up. He messages back, no apology, no explanation, other than I've organised for the someone else to come get your car, they are on their way now. So now my day is stuffed as she arrives just before 10:00am. The car will probably be returned again with the same issue. Avoid this dealership like the plague. Toyota Australia not much better to be honest.
Woeful warranty – Sales team was fantastic but that’s where it ended. After being delivered a vehicle with defects, I have now been chasing warranty issues for 9 months without an answer or response. The first time I was told the warranty was lodged with Isuzu Ute Australia who informed me they had no record of the claim. Each time thereafter I was either told that… Read more
they have lost the records because the service manager has quit or they will call me back. I’ve had to go back 3 times for the same photos to be taken. I have almost never received a call back and any progress has only been as a result of Isuzu Ute Australia stepping in or repeated follow ups. Next steps will be to report to ACCC and consider legal action as basic warranty issues shouldn’t take 9+ months to process.
What a little Ripper!!! – Went to the wrong car yard and walked out with the right car. Adam was brilliant! Went for a test drive in a little second hand Suzuki. Knew this was the car straight away. Had just lost my car to an accident and needed one urgently. I was having a real bad day. Maree the receptionist offered me a coffee, chatted to me as she could see I was hot… Read more
exhausted and needed a hand. Peter helped me with the warranty and sent further information out later when requested. Matt knew I was catching taxies to and from car yards. Organised Adam to drive me home. They checked the car out for safety and Matt called to advise the car was been cleaned. Then as promised, Adam picked me up and drove me to the car yard to pick up my car. I called Ryleigh and Eve from the service centre to advise me of the condition and works done to the car. I received a breakdown of the checks. The car was cleaned to perfection and filled with petrol. My paperwork was sent to DOT and the plates had been transferred. Honestly. I could not fault one of these people. My little blue lady runs like a dream. The air conditioner is icy cold and I'm so grateful. A REALLY BIG THANK YOU! Dee
Worst experience – We purchase a car 2019 Toyota Corolla on a day of a pick up or delivery car wasn’t even cleaned and it look like a whole junkie yard I will never ever go back to the deal again. Show details
Great service – Great thanks to Inam in the sales Dept He was fantastic from the beginning of the sale to the end. I purchased a new Tuscon. Can't be happier. Thankyou Show details
Terrible service and full of lies – Brought a Isuzu dmax 2018 at the beginning of the year, didn't use their finance brought it out right and the finance fella said you must of had a good crop this year hahaha, indicating the crop was pot. The salesman told me about a promotion they had on with filling out a survey and I would be given a G shock watch with Isuzu dmax on the face of… Read more
it, still nothing spoke to the manager about it he said he would sort it out and guess what still nothing. Took the car in for it's first free 1000 km service only had 300 km on it, spoke to the service manager and told him that the window washers were blocked and the glove compartment on top of the dash does not open unless you use something to lever it open. He said they will have to order another one in and they will be in contact once it arrives from the east coast and guess what still nothing, then when I drove off went to use the window washers and they were still blocked could not be bothered turning around so I went home and fixed it myself. Have sent emails to DVG head office and have not heard from anyone about my concerns with this department. I feel that once they have your money let's forget about them and find the next sucker to lie too.
Pathetic excuse for a car dealership – Disgusting service, told me I needed a new transmission had me waiting for over a week, wouldn’t give me no hire car told me that there was 3 different things wrong with my car all to find out that it wasn’t covered under warranty in the end even though they told me all week it was, then had the audacity to charge me. Didn’t keep me updated 4… Read more
times I was told someone would call back not once did they. Stay away from this company. Save yourself the drama and headache Rodney is supposedly “customer service” officer is appalling at his job fighting back at me saying they would pass on to the debt collector and hung up on me.
Absolutely mortified with how they deal with there customers.
Cheating dealer not honest. Never deal with – I paid one thousand dollar deposit after I saw their car ads. Then I called and found out that the car is five seater not as advertised seven seater. I asked [name removed] to refund me the deposit. I never signed contract. It was just phone call then I requested in one bous to not go ahead. He wanted to take $700 dollar out of the 1000 first then… Read more
400 he took 350 something after all my effort to threat him not to take any of my deposit.
After over month only returned $650.
His manager supposed to sort it out. Not fone yet after promised to call back.
Very cheaty untrusted people.
Cheat in their ads. And products and not hounest dealer. Never try.
Buy a car from dvg maddington – I brought a 2012 Hyundai i20 all was good for about a week then starting having problems the engine keepers on coming on so took it back I had the car for almost 12 months and every month went in for the same problem. I took out an extended 3 year warranty that was a waste of money they rip you off something chronic every time I went there I had… Read more
nothing but arguments with them, in the end I got fed up left sold the car and got another car from a different dealer and had the same problem so got rid of that car now brought a new car. My advice never buy 2nd hand always buy brand new you have a longer warranty and less problems.
unprofessional is an understatement! – Went there looking at purchasing a second hand car and was quickly greeted by a smooth talking rep. Before I knew it we were in his office and to my surprise he was half way through typing out an official vehicle offer. When I realized this I asked him to slow it down and reiterate just what the hell was happening. He proceeded to insist with the… Read more
offer and (get this) told me that this offer is a non negotiable commitment to buying the car. I obviously stopped it right there and boy did his mood change. As he thought he was not getting a sale it was like talking to an ignorant teenager.
Stay away this outfit. I could go on but I digress..
Extremely bad experience. Stay away! – Hi! I bought a Grand Cherokee from DVG Maddington and below are some of the issues I faced. These would also be useful if you are planning on buying a car from anyone. > Never sign anything without fully understanding what you are signing with these guys. They will casually give you documents without pointing out important facts. After… Read more
carefully checking and continuously questioning my invoice, the price reduced to the correct amount, which was almost $2000 and they smiled and explained it was just a mistake. Very funny bunch these are...
> I asked for finance options and I said specifically that I did not want to get stuck in a loan which I couldn't pay off quickly. They setup exactly that. I was stuck in a 4 year loan with monthly fees and huge exit fees. When I questioned why they did that, they said, "yes you can exist any time, you just have to pay exit fee which was around $700".
> I sent these complaints to the customer support team there and I am yet to receive any reply from them and it's been months.
If you want some peace of mind for your money, steer way clear of these guys. If you have no other option, be extremely careful with them and take all the time you need to completely understand what you are signing up with them and also always get things in writing. I would just go to a better dealer.
