contacted them, they tried to persuade me into buying a new machine from them because this one is out of warranty. Disgusting service and have no compassion to customer's experience. I'd expect a Kmart vacuum to last more than 3 years. My machine was regularly cleaned. It won't stop pulsating now and Dyson just told me that the main body broke down. After I questioned them why is there no repair service, they then offered to repair the machine at $249/$399. Have a look around you Dyson. Have a look at how much stick vacuum costs these days and why would i pay $399 to fix something which has 1 year warranty and could just break down again?

few times to get it to start going again • the vacuum pushes rubbish around instead of vaccuuming it up - you have to lift the head and place it on top of the rubbish to clean it up (sometimes still the rubbish is just shot out the back of the head);
The vacuum feels really heavy, clunky and cheap. Only positive is that when it is working the suction on high setting is really good.
I would not recommend buying this vacuum.

The new filter design is very easy to clean and the LED display gives you accurate battery and suction power information. The new variable suction is great at finding extra dust or dirt in floors and quickly adapts to the right suction power level as required. I highly recommend the V11 Outsize, it is a formidable player amongst an already exceptional team of champions that go before it.
Heavy Clunky Rubbish – I have been a loyal Dyson customer for over 20 years of various types. I wanted to upgrade my Animal and got talked into this expensive Heavy Clunky piece of crap. It's so heavy, hard to manoeuvre and definitely not enjoyable to use. You have to keep finger on button. I'm very disappointed and ready to convert to another manufacturer. It is not bad – I am a long term Dyson user. The v11 is much more powerful and it is a very efficient cleaning soloution. My only concern of the products is washing. There are smell everytime after wash. I would give it a 4 stars. Show details
No good for arthritis sufferers – I’ve had many Dyson products and for the most part, they’re pretty good if not expensive. One thing that’s always been a problem for me is the trigger action of their stick vacuum cleaners. is wider, covering more floor space at once. However, it’s heavy. Really heavy. Combined with the strain of maintaining the trigger, I end up in a lot of pain. Look, I know you can’t be all things to everyone but Dyson you pride yourself on design and arthritis is a very common ailment. If you could incorporate some sort of mechanism (like a garden hose attachment) which enables the vacuum to run without holding the trigger, would make life a lot easier for people like me and I can continue to use your products.
This vacuum is outrageously good – I used my V6 on my floor and carpet then immediately used the V11. After I finished the The v11 got half full!! I am So impressed with how powerful this is. Dyson have clearly taken onboard years of feedback and actioned this in this vacuum! Well done! Show details
