Downstairs , the vibrant, sociable Easts of yesteryear is long gone. The major makeover of a few years ago has turned it into soul-less sea of garish poker machines with a handful of dis-spirited oldies feeding their pensions into the whirling money-eaters. Easts has all the charisma & joy de vivre of a morgue.

Won't be back in a hurry.

The only thing was great was the pizza garlic bread my partner brother order his meal it came out a reasonable time 10 minutes after my partner ordered the same meal. Got told the Docker got lost . Parma jamma was burnt

Thank you to Easts Coorpooroo for hosting my event. Laura was amazing at helping organise and really I did very little. The venue is fantastic and all worked very well. Can I just thank Bella for being our host for my significant birthday, she was amazing, calm, attentive and made sure all went well. The young bar staff were lovely and all my guest had a good time. Thank you and I would recommend East’s as a venue for celebrations

Bad dinner – Am a member. Went last night for the ribs as they are normally excellent. Last night was tough as leather. Inedible. Asked two staff that said they would get someone. But nope. Left my business card on the plate with a comment as no-one came.

food was supposed to be a certain temperature when it was served obviously somebody’s not doing there job properly

Horrible management team – We used to go here every week for food. Then this week management stole $400 from my partner by misrepresenting when their loyalty period ends. Horrible management team, will never go and will tell all my friends to never go.

Bistro Dinner – I was a bit disappointed with the air-conditioning in the new Bistro section as I found it a bit stuffy if sitting at the back section. Apart from that the meals were enjoyable & the staff provided a good service. Is there anything that could be done to improve the air-conditioning in that section making it comparable to the coffee lounge?

Very poor Venue – We visited Easts Leagues Club for a meal and to have a flutter on the Pokies. Although we won $200 our visit was overshadowed by the lack of friendliness and lack of enthusiasm of the staff ( they reminded us of the staff at Aldi foodstores). lacked any enthusiasm at all. Very disappointing Venue indeed. The worst Venue we have visited in Brisbane without a doubt. We will not be returning.
