Excellent whipper snipper perfect for domestic use
This review is about the ECHO GT-222ES, which is the bent shaft model.
I have had a few whipper snippers over the past 40 years. One cheap one and a couple of expensive ones. This is easily the best. It fits all the criteria important to me. Small, light, easy to start, excellent bump feed, easy to re spool and not too noisy. It has without question the best bump feed and re spooling design of any whipper snipper I have seen. e fuel. This is easily rectified by propping the machine on a stump, or similar, so the fuel filler spout sits vertically. I looked at more expensive machines from Makita, Stihl and Honda and ended up going with this one because of the light weight and all the +ve reviews on this website. You always need to sort the wheat from the chaff when looking at online reviews, but every review on this product was 5 stars and I figured "some of them must be right". Really glad I chose this machine and very happy with my purchase regardless of price.Purchased in January 2020 for A$299.00.
