Cheap smart tv with bad after market support – Manufacturer unable to answer basic questions as to tv type to have firestick control the TV. Unwilling to divulge correct remote code to use a replacement remote forcing buyers to buy from thrm. Picture quality is no so good. Lacks contrast.. Can live without it – I bought a 55" eko, day 1 and 2 it worked fine the next day it was grey with white lines, after about 15 minutes the picture came on with a purple hue, then that cleared up after about 10 minutes. So needless to say I am not very impressed. Show details

Still reasonably happy – Happy with the picture quality, the sound isn't bad, but the remote is very poor. I complained and got a replacement but the 2nd remote is no better than the first. I sit approx 4 meters away and get no response most times. I have to take the remote to about 1 meter away from the TV and even then it's touch and go. It’s awesome but not great – It won’t connect my surround sound to it, it won’t save my settings. I have to fiddle with it every morning to set up my surround sound. What’s the problem  Show details ·  1

This tv has been really good – This tv has been really good since we bought it from Big W 4 weeks ago with no problems at all. I was surprised by the sound its quite good and not tinny at all has good depth. Picture quality stood up well to the 55" sony next to it not the same but not that different either and alot less expensive. Overall a great buy for us at $599 Show details ·  1

Brand new out the box doesn’t work – I just picked up this tv today brought it home. Set it up and when I turned it on, it just flashes different colours. Red, blue, green, white black like some cheap disco. Insanely disappointed. The tv won’t do anything but flash colours even when pushing any button. Show details

Terrible – Don't waste your time or money. Won't turn on, 2 of the same products same problem. Customer service non existent from EKO. Will buy a reputable brand in future, thought I would give them a go big mistake. Show details

Not good at all – Very laggy and the sound is terrible. Ended up buying a sound bar but sound still cuts out. Bought 2 weeks ago from Big W not sure if they will take it back now. Remote is temperamental too. Not happy with the quality. Show details

GARBAGE PRODUCT !! – Purchased this EKO 55inch via BigW, January 2020. Just at the start of the COVID pandemic. I multiple sclerosis, so had to temporarily move out due to covid and health risks. installed new batteries, and still not working. So I've had to use the also very difficult to access alternative, semi control panel on the back of the tv with little success. It only good for turning the tv on, and volume control. But the setting is stuck on the "AV" setting, for DVD or Blu-ray player and no way of getting it back to digital tv option. Plus the screen picture keeps blurring in and out, when I now just use it to watch DVDs, and sound goes up and down in volume randomly. I'm utterly disgusted that in just two years, after barely using this tv unit, and keeping it clean and safe etc, that it's a big fat lemon product !!! And even worse, even after seeing hundreds of complaints across various product rating sites, and even on the BigW site & reviews, they're still selling this dud and scam of a product. So I've reported it to the ACCC. Especially as now I've noticed the tv is heating up beyond what would be deemed as normal and would definitely pose a fire risk. To anyone out their thinking of purchasing this brand, PLEASE DON'T, BUYER BEWARE. And the company that produces this brand also produces other brands such as Blaupunkt and other brands,all of which are manufactured in both Poland and China. No doubt for the cheap labour and material costs etc. Robbing consumers and taking them for fools !!

Fire risk !! – Just out of its 12 months warranty and the screen has gotten so hot it has started to bubble on bottom right hand corner it has actually burnt through the screen and burnt my hand! To scared to turn on now as I'm worried about it catching fire Show details

New tv is not turning on! – I just bought a new eko 55 inch TV and when I tried to open up just a message pops up on the screen saying “press the exit key and turn power off with the remote control” and no matter what you do. You can’t open the TV. I am very disappointed. Show details

however the sound buffers as if it’s lagging. (We know it’s not a sound bar fault as it connects to other devices fine)

All in all very poor quality tv.

Would not recommend!!! – I bought one of these TV's after having a house fire and having limited money to replace things. I would never recommend these tvs or this brand to anyone! They struggle to connect to apps, play sound with black screen showing, remote doesn't always work,turns off by itself during shows. Its just a poor quality TV. Very disappointing. Cheap TV with picture quality to match – Picture quality is poor (black more noticeably). Remote is non responsive 90% of the time. I use a soundbar so can't comment on audio. Cheap TV, but you get what you pay for. I have regret. Show details

Faulty has to be sent away for assessment (big W) – Faulty HDMI ports no picture with several different devices, Poor quality and poor response from big W - spend the extra money and buy a brand name TV! Have to wait 3 weeks for assessment. Show details

Useless. Crashes when trying to use the Apps – The TV is slow itself, and things get worst when trying to use the smart Apps (it only has Netflix and Youtube built-in). It is supposed to be smart TV but as it crashes I need to use my Google Chromecast to make it work. I called the warranty and they asked me to reset AGAIN and to call Netflix and Youtube to resolve the problem, but it is clear that the problem is that the Tv's capacity of processing or something else is too week. Show details

Wifi turning itself off on the tv and not connecting – I turn the wifi on, on the tv but it turns itself off I have tried factory resetting it, turn it off at the wall ect... still hasn’t fixed the problem  Show details

TV Picture Blurred after a few months – The tv picture is now non-existent after 4 months of use when turning it on. You can hear the sound but no picture for at least 30 min. Picture is increasingly blurred on free to air tv when it does return. Show details

Issue after issue with tv not turning on – Brought this tv 9 months ago, worked well for the first three months than the tv progressively got worse. It hardly used, just a backup tv. We need to reset the tv several times to load an app such as prime. Very painful. Can anyone assist? Show details

Netflix app crashing – Have had this tv for under 5 months. Now when I try to watch Netflix, the tv starts freezing before totally crashing and kicking me out of the app and my screen goes completely black! Very VERY frustrating  Show details
