Can live without it – I bought a 55" eko, day 1 and 2 it worked fine the next day it was grey with white lines, after about 15 minutes the picture came on with a purple hue, then that cleared up after about 10 minutes. So needless to say I am not very impressed. Show details

Fantastic TV for the price – I am quite shocked at all the bad reviews. I bought this tv from Big W for our 2nd living room thinking it would be average. It is a fantastic tv and works well with my surround sound speakers. Picture quality is great. It may not be the same quality as our Samsung Crystal but it’s not far off and less than 1/2 the price. Mine has worked perfectly since day one and my Apple TV works perfectly with it. Show details
Eko 55inch android smart tv – This is easy to use everything works as should. High humidity will cause intermittent problems. Recommend if you get water crystals in container like5$each picture posted below. all problems disappeared within a day. I wouuld recommend one to anyone. Terrible quality. Even for the price point – Keeps kicking me out of my internet and the only way to get the internet to work again is to continuously reset the tv. Kicks me out of the apps, sometimes turns off for no reason and recently the screen has sometimes been popping up with a little static square in the right corner while the rest of the screen is black. Still reasonably happy – Happy with the picture quality, the sound isn't bad, but the remote is very poor. I complained and got a replacement but the 2nd remote is no better than the first. I sit approx 4 meters away and get no response most times. I have to take the remote to about 1 meter away from the TV and even then it's touch and go. This tv has been really good – This tv has been really good since we bought it from Big W 4 weeks ago with no problems at all. I was surprised by the sound its quite good and not tinny at all has good depth. Picture quality stood up well to the 55" sony next to it not the same but not that different either and alot less expensive. Overall a great buy for us at $599 Show details · 1

installed new batteries, and still not working. So I've had to use the also very difficult to access alternative, semi control panel on the back of the tv with little success. It only good for turning the tv on, and volume control. But the setting is stuck on the "AV" setting, for DVD or Blu-ray player and no way of getting it back to digital tv option. Plus the screen picture keeps blurring in and out, when I now just use it to watch DVDs, and sound goes up and down in volume randomly. I'm utterly disgusted that in just two years, after barely using this tv unit, and keeping it clean and safe etc, that it's a big fat lemon product !!! And even worse, even after seeing hundreds of complaints across various product rating sites, and even on the BigW site & reviews, they're still selling this dud and scam of a product. So I've reported it to the ACCC. Especially as now I've noticed the tv is heating up beyond what would be deemed as normal and would definitely pose a fire risk. To anyone out their thinking of purchasing this brand, PLEASE DON'T, BUYER BEWARE. And the company that produces this brand also produces other brands such as Blaupunkt and other brands,all of which are manufactured in both Poland and China. No doubt for the cheap labour and material costs etc. Robbing consumers and taking them for fools !!

Would not recommend!!! – I bought one of these TV's after having a house fire and having limited money to replace things. I would never recommend these tvs or this brand to anyone! They struggle to connect to apps, play sound with black screen showing, remote doesn't always work,turns off by itself during shows. Its just a poor quality TV. Very disappointing. Useless. Crashes when trying to use the Apps – The TV is slow itself, and things get worst when trying to use the smart Apps (it only has Netflix and Youtube built-in). It is supposed to be smart TV but as it crashes I need to use my Google Chromecast to make it work. I called the warranty and they asked me to reset AGAIN and to call Netflix and Youtube to resolve the problem, but it is clear that the problem is that the Tv's capacity of processing or something else is too week. Never again – Purchased in November 2020 for our bedroom. Read reviews - clearly not enough - and thought this would be a good budget option. Within a month of purchase, the issues started. Sometimes requires turning on and off twice before the screen will actually turn on. Regularly glitches and gets a frozen picture while sound continues, and vice versa.
