tv show and here it is; vertical lines, over the entire tv and now a white screen. It’s unwatchable. It is not fit for purpose and they should not be sold, as they are not doing what they are advertised to do. I want my money back!!! I will be pursuing this.

2 metres from the TV with nothing blocking the remote’s signal. Now let’s talk about hotspotting your phone to this “smart tv”. The connection usually lasts anywhere from 20-30 minutes before it’ll randomly drop out. The other day it dropped out 3 times in 20 minutes. But it doesn’t actually connect automatically, you have to go into settings, wifi connections, choose the hotspot and then wait 1-2 minutes to connect it again. It’ll drop out/disconnect when I’m sitting less than 2m away from it and haven’t moved. My PlayStation has no problems maintaining the hotspot connection but these TVs cannot handle it for more than 5-30 minutes. Now when I think of cheap dodgy poorly made barely functioning products I don’t think of China, I think of Australia.

I contacted customer support and was told to sell the services of a repairer as it was out of warranty and they could not assist in any way. Remotes keep failing and channel loading is sometimes faulty – I have 2 remote controls and neither of them work properly. The TV itself sometimes takes a long time to load a channel with the message "retrieving data" showing for several minutes. Quick moving sports can often seem a bit jumpy. Show details

Waste of money – Iv had this TV for 14 months and it has been slow and I have had to unplug, reset etc. Several times, also a couple months after purchasea green line appeared on the right hand side of screen. I also purchased 1 for my daughter who has had similar issues however her remote does not always connect to her TV. I went to turn my TV on today and it has died. I would not purchase another TV. Failed at 1.5 year old. Better to avoid – First TV ever in my life that failed, and it failed only at 1.5yr of age. It just won't turn on anymore. EKO will not help or fix as warranty is only 1 year. Buy it only if you plan to change your TV every year. Show details

Major WiFi Issues - Not worth the purchase, will be returning for refund and never shopping EKO brand ever – Worked for one night, Wifi starting dropping out. Factory reset as per the instructions by customer service on previous/below reviews and to no avail. It has made the problem worse - TV does not connect to WiFi at all and we cannot even use a hotspot. Will be returning back to big W for a refund. but seeing the reviews below have convinced us otherwise - this brand is just Junk. Ending up using the HDMI to the laptop - the same reason we went out to get a new TV - definitely never from big w again. EKO customer service is a failure and joke. Their every solution is to factory reset which in my case has just made my TV useless with the inability to connect to WiFi.

bad it's only good for an anchor lol. Honestly if you buy this tv, you are inviting disappointment into your future. Eko did eventually refund my purchase, so that was appreciated.

picture for one day it had a greenish thick blob in screen but suddenly disappeared after 24hours. Has not been back since. The real issue is the remote they are all built very poorly my remote only works when it wants even after replacement it's so annoying as it dosent work more then it does. The company should be upgrading there remotes or at least send universal remotes out to all costomers who are experiencing this problem I bet there is a few who are.. I got a brand new tv I expected a working remote.but nope couldn't even provide that yous need to fix this problem asap. Now I use the Google tv app and use the remote there least I found a solution not like eko.
