Good solid product for the price – As a cheaper smart TV this is great value for money. Set up is easy and has most of the features/apps you could want, including Google voice search. It looks smart with the near frameless screen and even when watching faster sports content pixelation is pretty good compared to others I have owned. Blacks are nearly black rather than a fizzy grey you sometimes get on cheaper TVs. Sound is as you'd expect from this price bracket, but again certainly not as bad as some I have experienced and paid a lot more for. To get the best from the TV get a stand alone soundbar with separate sub-woofer.

It was great to start, 6 months in it's barely usable – I bought this TV just over 6 months ago. It was AMAZING out of the box, the quality was brilliant and it was quick. I had none of the problems listed on this site. Now? It's so slow, it freezes, it lags, the apps crash, it's painful. I have reset the TV back to factory settings about 3 or 4 times now. I have to unplug it regularly because it freezes. It's barely usable. I'm not sure what to do with it, it's a glorified paperweight by this stage.

It’s been a great tv for the price – We have no reception and stream our tv shows. We bought this tv in May even though it had mixed reviews, as it was on a great online deal. We attached to the wall quite easily and my kids learnt how to use it and find the shows in the apps very easily. Some shows seem to be a bit poor quality but most are great.You can speak into the remote to search for things also which can make it a bit easier to find shows in different apps Show details · 1

Noticed an issue from Day 1 – Really easy to set up in general! playing around I had the screen saver going when i noticed a row of clip-looking markings under the display across the top bezel of the tv. When watching a show or playing a game, no matter the source/screen, you could just make out they were there. Had purchased from Big W on the 30/05/22, staff informed me to keep the receipt and even take a picture of it, possible warning after reading these reviews haha, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and yet found a issue right out of the box. Display was crisp and colour was excellent but, i knew the clip-looking markings under the display were not meant to be there. Speakers weren’t the best, sounded tinny and a little sharply distorted at a higher volume but, never bothered me as I didn’t use the TV speakers as much. Reached out to EKO themselves via the customer service email address on the box and after a few ongoing emails back and forth, they recommended I go to Big W and get a refund/replacement. Spoke to the staff at Big W and this seems to not be and uncommon returned product. Recommended by numerous staff after exposing the fault with pictures, to not purchase any TV from EKO brand again, some staff even questioning why it still stands as a product that they sell. Otherwise nonetheless, staff were very helpful and understanding of the issue, took the TV back after 10 days of ownership, easy and fast solution, supplying me with a new Polaroid TV at around the same price tag, hopefully looking at a worry-free purchase from here on out but, would not recommend anyone to purchase such a TV, let alone the brand EKO again. Props to the EKO customer support team for understanding the issue I was having and quick to reply with a reference number as a solution to returning the TV through Big W however, wasn’t even needed when I got there anyways as majority of the Big W staff are aware this brand does come back quite commonly!

The worst TV I've ever had – Lags. Freezes. Remote is slow to respond. Easy to navigate & set up Netflix etc but trying to watch anything through those apps is pointless. Constant freezing, saying wifi isn't connected and every minute or 2, it's "buffering". Our internet connection is fine. No issue with any tablet, phone or lap top when streaming. good solid build and its works perfectly. I have a Sony Bravia TV and to be honest, if this had a Sony badge I think it would be difficult to tell the difference. I also note that the distributer of Eko responds to any negative reviews trying to resolve any complaints which gives me great confidence in their product support, so I cant help but recommend. No issues either with wireless connection as other reviews have reported. This is a great TV and I doubt you can find better value for money anywhere. to say a bad thing about it. Not bad for an initial $500 purchase I made almost 3 years ago. It’s not the smartest TV in the world and navigating the menus sometimes can be a little bit of pain. I just use my Xbox though (as the processor and performance is much superior to a cheap smart TV’s processor) and the picture quality is well worth the money. It’s got plenty of HDMI ports, Bluetooth and wifi. You can chromecast it’s great.

Internet Connection Issurs – Not happy. Internet connection keeps dropping out about every 2 days. Another brand doesn't have that problem. Have to reset the unit, reload internet, set up apps all to have to repeat that the next or a day or 2 later. Finally after about a year and a half the remote stopped working altogether. Sending to the scrapheap. Awful – Purchased from Big W 2.5 years ago and this television is dreadful and has been from the get go. It is irritatingly slow with wifi. The picture quality isn't great it looks fuzzy. And the screen randomly goes black and then you have to do a complete factory reset where you lose all your apps then have to re-load them. I will never buy EKO again. Beware of that cheap price tag. I wanted was the video card to replace the faulty one . After 1 email a day and reply and 5 days of this they finally responded that the video card isn't available for this model?? It's 12 mnths old and no part available?. Buyer beware do not touch these tvs poor customer service and the only parts will be what you can find off faulty tvs. Stay away.

Do not buy this crap – Horrible tv, shocking that anyone would sell a tv this cheaply made. Terrible picture, slow remote, almost unuseable. Hard to use because of slow controls.
