Prompt service and excellent trade installation plus easy to contact.
Kristian managed to sort out most of the work in less than 30 mins. Very switched on and efficient. Would highly recommend
Soft close back again – After 3 years of living in my Rawson Home issues with my Elba Kitchen, one of the soft close hinges failed, so that the door slammed loudly every time. Just like the olden days before soft close. I called Elba and Alberth arrived on time on the day and replaced the hinges. No fuss, and no bother.
Quality Product and Great Service – We had a really positive experience with Elba kitchens with the construction and installation of our kitchen, bathroom vanities and laundry cabinetry. The planning and design process was easy and informative and the quality of their craftsmanship is great. It’s a wonderful family operated small business that has attention to detail, friendly service and quality products, I would definitely recommend.
Love my kitchen – This is our second build with a kitchen and joinery completed by Elba Kitchens. We used builder showrooms for inspiration and modified the designs to suit our needs. The finished product is exactly what I had pictured. Have been in for 1.5 years now and am absolutely in love with this kitchen.
Laundry overhead cabinets – We had a great experience with Elba Kitchens. We had additional cabinets installed on the wall in our laundry to maximise space & help with easy access to washing products. The whole process was quick , professional and a pleasure to deal with . This is the second house we have bought with AV Jennings who use Elba kitchen & bathroom cabinets with no issues , and they look great. Show reply
ELBA - Your customer service is terrible – ELBA - Your customer service is terrible. If you’re prepared to build kitchens for people you should absolutely factor in time for after sales service for your own customers and not palm them off to find someone else because you’re booked out. I hope all the people you’re so busy building kitchens for know that you won’t be any help to them once… Read more
their kitchen is installed.
We built our home 8 years ago and Elba installed our kitchen. I’m actually quite happy with the quality but their customer service is terrible!
A few years ago I asked if I could buy a new soft close hinge that had broken, they said they don’t use the same brand anymore and I’d have to contact the supplier direct, ok that’s reasonable.
Then a few weeks ago I emailed again to ask if they could replace the 12x60cm section of laminate kick board that sits under my integrated dishwasher that has had water damage and had warped, I was completely happy to pay for this as I agree it’s not a warranty issue as we built 8 years ago, I thought this would be a reasonable ask and a relatively simple & cheap job, but the blunt responses I received was that they’re too busy and to find someone local to do it, after weeks of not being able to find anyone local to do such a tiny job and a further emails back and forth with Elba, the final email with the manager said they could do it but it could take up to 2 months ‘if they have the board’ and it would cost either $100 if I wanted to pick it up from their workshop in Sydney (I’m 2 1/2 hours away) or $400 to supply and install!!! Thanks but no thanks. These prices are insane! The piece I’m asking for is 12x60cm that you could probably cut from an offcut!
Great install – Clean and quick install, was a good experience from start to finish
Disappointed ( I'm being nice ) – Absolutely no follow up, no calls back, no emails, when I spoke with them they said, " too busy so I probably would get a call back" from the person I was trying to speak with!. Just crap service
Take money deliver rubbish – Rawson whom are as bad as Elba no wonder they are in business together, Rawson employ Elba to do their kitchen which are a disaster the worst workmanship I have ever seen. What you see in the exhibition home is not what you get beware!!!! And of course they are not at fault , basically my stress can help warn you to stay away from both Elba and… Read more
Rawson. Even if one person walks I have saved someone from a nightmare. Their cupboards are uneven, faulty , badly made, not a straight line in them.Made from cheap chip board I can go on.Please stay away.
beware horrible warranty department – our kitchen island has a gap at the end where there is a wall. fair enough the guy came in and tried to rectify quickly but this did not work. this is where the frustration comes in. i have contacted them probably 5 times but to date no one has gotten back to me. very frustrating to say the least; warranty department is terrible. i have even… Read more
advised our builder AV Jennings to review their contracts with them. so beware dealing with this company
update 02/07 - gap has been fixed - Christian is very knowledgeable and highly skilled; certainly an asset to Elba. such a shame their warranty department(I was told one lady in particular looked after this) is terrible
Poor Quality, Cheap Kitchens and worst customer service! – Currently building with a project builder. They have used Elba Kitchens. Given the price off upgrades, I was shocked at the quality of the kitchen. think flat pack, ikea, Bunnings quality. Very disappointing. To top it off, their customer service is terrible. never return calls, cant get through to the right department, wont provide details… Read more
about your kitchen or type of products. I suggest checking which kitchen company your builder uses before proceeding!
How ridiculous! Customer is not allowed to correct plans! – I used Elba kitchen for my large kitchen, walk in pantry, four bathrooms and laundry fittings which a big project worth more than AU$50000. Once I got my plans, I found a lot of mistakes which need to be amended. So far, the 3rd version still has an obvious mistakes on it. It is worth to mention that I requested in last morning, and already get… Read more
the 3rd version in this morning. I need to appreciate thing done very fast within less then 24hours.....In the other word, honestly, all are simple works -- adjust dimensions and correct notes on the drawing. However, I received a threatened message said this is the final plan and I am not allowed to make any more amendments otherwise I have to pay the $600 admin fee. How ridiculous is this -- A $50000 project I cannot correct mistakes? How can she say this is final plan of my home? This is my home, the only person can decide the final plan is me.
I am extremely disappointed that although things have not start yet, it already suffering such a lot difficulties. From my opinion, it is the responsibility and obligation of the merchant to give their client a satisfactory plan.
The only one thing I made a change at this stage is to adjust a mirror height (this doesn't affect price), and I believe it takes less than 1 minutes to do. It does not make any sense to charge me like this.

Poor Quality - seen better flat-pack Kitchens – ELBA Kitchens were used for our new home when we built with Rawson Homes - both kitchen & bathroom cabinetry. ELBA Kitchens use cheap products with very poor quality. They are a perfect match for Rawson Homes (both being consistent in the lack of workmanship & use of cheap materials). We have gaps & misaligned joins throughout. The… Read more
Waterfall edge on Island Bench is not even secured properly on one side & they have just used a self-tapping screw without concealing it to hold a component in (i.e. it is screwed up on a weird angle through the laminate).
All of the shelves were installed using only 2 holder pins (diagonally across from each other) instead of the required 4 pins – this resulted in the first shelf crashing down & hitting me when I first tried to stack our dishes.
I have seen Flat-pack kitchen from stores like Ikea, Freedom or even Bunnings which are much better quality & cost less.
I would never use ELBA again or any associated builders.
Cheap and Poor Quality – My builder ZAC Homes used ELBA Kitchen for my bathroom and kitchen fittings. Looked good initially but started to break after an year. In my newly built house there is a big kithchen, three bathrooms and a toilet. No matter whether it is used or not all of the taps started to leak after 4 or 5 months. Some of the taps are never been used for long… Read more
time or used once or twice a week. Some of the tap parts, kitchen cabinets started to break after an year. ELBA Kitchen use very poor quality and cheap items in their products. Good example is the bolt under the sink tap. Can you beleive it is made of Plastic. It is hidden behind the sink bowl. If you see underneath the sink you cannot spot this at all. All the visible parts are metal. Even though it is cheap and breaks but they are made of metal. It is hard to belive they even cut cost further by replacing the cheap metal bolts with pastic bolts. When I tried to contact them they try to avoid me by saying they will get back. Sometime they don't even answer the phone.
ZAC Homes is another beast. They have the reputation of choosing poor quality and charging excessive amount. No wonder ELBA and ZAC Homes get along.
From my experiience my advise to all is; Don't Choose Zac Homes. Before you sign your contract or pay the deposit check with your builder what vendors they are using. If ELBA kitchen is in that list then probably you may want to change it for your own good.
Poor quality taps and cabinets which breaks and malfunctions after sometime
