Don’t do it - you’ll regret it – Do not buy any Westinghouse or Electrolux fridge that’s made in Thailand or China. They are all faulty. I’m onto my 3rd replacement fridge and they have so many issues and customer service is now completely useless with an outsourced Indian customer care centre. Avoid the pain and heartache. Electrolux excellent service – I purchased this fridge several months ago. I arrived with a big scratch on top of the freezer door, so I contacted Electrolux. They offered to replace the door. After the initial poor communication with the service consultant, Electrolux sent a technician with a new door. I did take around 3 months but it was done. Great service Electrolux, thank you.

Dents and ripples on both fridges purchased – I bought the dual fridge with the trim kit and especially designed the kitchen around this dual fridge to make this a feature. Once installed, I was horrified to notice multiple dents and ripples on both units - fridge and freezer panels. I called customer service who were unable to help and asked me to email photos to customer care. It's been… Read more
weeks with no response from Electrolux. After doing a quick google search this is a common problem with Electrolux fridges. As described by Beth M from Adelaide, she was advised by customer service that this was quite common. Who in their right mind would spend thousands on a fridge, which is the centre piece of a kitchen willingly knowing or be prepared to put up with dents. This doesn't make sense, and I'm sick of companies taking advantage of consumers by not even acknowledging a complaint.. they are just laughing at us. Manufacturing quality control is so poor, and now I have to jump through hoops to get any action. This is DEFINITELY a manufacturing issue. Think twice before purchasing People should be aware of Electrolux and their effilliates all over social media so they don't make the same mistake we have made.
Awesome so far – Hubby and I bought this fridge/freezer in Feb 2021 from The good guys at ipswich. We have had it for 8m so far. The good: - SOOO QUIET! You can't ever hear this fridge. Its seriously quiet. - Moveable draws in the door that actually allow for sauces and tall bottles and eggs and eveyrthing you need space wise. Its very practical. - Moveable… Read more
(with practical spaces) draws inside fridge. - The 2 crisper draws keep food so so fresh for so long. Our old one would struggle to keep lettuce for more than 4 days or so. This one a bag lasts at least a week! I'm actually shocked at how long our food is lasting now. As a result, our wastage has halved. -Holds SO much food. - Shelf arrangements allows me to put a whole stock pot or the like into the fridge. -Easy to open even after you've just opened it. It doesn't suction shut and require a body builder or crow bar to get open again lol - Although plastic, it doesn't feel flimsy. Shelves and housings feel really solid. - Easy to clean, no tiny little nooks or crannies to get food or crumbs stuck in.
The negatives - You have to open the freezer door entirely to be able to get to anything in there. Its really annoying when you could just reach in if the draws didn't have the solid plastic fronts on them. - Freezer draws rather than shelves means you can't fit as much in. We've had to adapt how we store food and are looking at another freezer cos this one just isn't big enough for foor and left overs to be frozen -The ice tray is flimsy and really tricky to get back into the freezer once filled up and the ice cubes are seriously TINY. And with no other room in the entire freezer, we can't use another tray. Kind of a pain. - Colour is hard to match to anything else in the kitchen and does tend to show some fingers on the door- btu this is really nit picking cos so does regular stainless.
Overall we are very happy with our fridge. I will come back and update at the 2yr mark if something happens to it like several other people's here have. Makes me a little concerned if i'm honest. But we will wait and see.
Great so far... fingers crossed it lasts – I feel bad for people who were given a lemon, but that wasn’t us. Only 2 months in, but so far loving the fridge. All of the negatives in other reviews we haven’t encountered: Noise level - very nice and quiet. Mostly completely silent, at times it will have a low (very low) white noise sound like you’re on a plane. But very soft and find it… Read more
soothing in a way. We recently slept on a mattress downstairs about 3m from the fridge for 1 week because we had painting done upstairs and had very good sleeps. Coldness - great. Had to reduce it by 1 degree to 2 degrees to get it to the coldness we like but is great now. Nothing freezes in the fridge, keeps things evenly cool in all compartments. Door handles - I wonder if they redid the design of them, maybe they used to be plastic. The ones we got are solid metal and the screws seem pretty good too - if you make sure to tighten well with the Allen key it feels like they will last and feel very strong and secure. Anyways really hoping the fridge will last. It’s sad nowadays that products are made so poorly and rarely last (e.g. my mum has a microwave that is 38 years old and still going strong! If people get 5 years out of a microwave nowadays they’re happy). Hoping I won’t be back here in 2 years complaining that the fridge has broken down. I guess we’ll see… UPDATE: Almost 4 years in and fridge hasn't missed a beat. Hooray!

Great solid fridge – Love my new fridge with the convenience of a plumbed water and ice dispenser which was also easy to install. Quiet too, I live in a small apartment and finding a fridge that doesn’t make noise was a huge draw card for me. Other brands I was looking into seem to have the same review of - ‘great fridge but noisy’. It’s also really sturdy and solidly made. Show details
Great fridge/freezer in every way (except one) – The fridge looks great, is good value for money and for the energy efficiency. It feels well made, with a solid sounding door and drawers that don't get stuck or feel like they're going to snap like other fridges I've owned. The taste guard does a noticeably good job of avoiding "fridge taste" on open items in the fridge. It maintains a steady… Read more
temperature too. And the temperature thus far has remained even - no freezing of items at the back to keep everything else cool. Worth the money.
At night, it sounds like the shadow creatures from Ghost.
Good looking ;5 star energy rating! – Left hand to suit kitchen layout.Handles a little difficult to fit,but with patience and not forcing Allen key seems to be quite a good fit.Ice cube tray small, but appears to be a standard across all similar fridges.Overall very happy Show details

Stay away – 3 major repairs and now the paint is coming off the doors. Stay away from this brand 4 years old EDIT. after leaving this review they came to the party and replaced both of the doors. And they were nothing but helpful. If only their customer service department originally wasn't more helpful. Show details
Junk junk – Poor service when needing repairs 3 times still not fixed. Customer service useless can't tell when parts are going in .Would never buy any product they have made .please think twice before buying Show details

Design fault in this refrigerator – We bought this product 2 years ago. It performed well until a week ago when the refrigerator section stopped working. A technician found that the fan in the bottom of the unit had frozen and this stopped the cycle of air. It required turning off the unit to allow the ice to thaw meaning food would spoil. After searching the internet we found this to be a common problem with this refrigerator. Be aware of this design problem before you buy. Show details

I got the lemons – The first fridge that arrived had a control panel that only worked after I switched the fridge off at the power point. After a couple of days the fridge stopped working although the freezer kept humming along nicely. I got a replacement. When I discovered the control panel didn't work on that one either, I sent it back. It's a pity. I really liked… Read more
the layout and energy efficiency of this model. Lots of people rave about it online. I obviously got the lemons!
Good when it works. Customer service is terrible – Bought this fridge in 2019. It was good when it worked. The shelves move and configure well. The two big draws are efficient. Freezer it’s a very good size and I like the way the drawers come out. Problems though! 2 years almost to the day and the fridge stopped cooling (second time. First time fixed with reset) Electrolux customer service was… Read more
terrible trying to avoid fixing under warranty. Their technician call out times are soo slow. Waiting a week to fix your only fridge in the house. They came out and fixed it and because the technician was nice he did it as a no cost job.
It was the defrost sensor broken causing the freezer to block with ice and stop the fridge getting cold air.
Fast forward 6 weeks and it’s broken again. Again the customer service is horrible. Slow and don’t want to have it fix it under warranty. Very disappointing

Easy to use, looks great – After a terrible experience with our last fridge, we ended up going from a French door style fridge to the Electrolux bottom mount and it's been a great upgrade. It's a fridge, so there's not exactly a big feature list to pore over, however it does what it says on the box, it keeps food cold, it's consistent and it looks the part. The shelving… Read more
and drawers are solid and well put together and the control panel is easy to use.
It's a little louder than the old fridge, but nothing major, and it doesn't seem to be outside the standard noise level for a fridge.
If I had to be picky about anything (and I often feel the need to be) I would say that the door hinge seems a bit loud, there is a noticeable click when you close the door - we actually thought there was an issue at first, but when I called back into Harvey Norman, I noticed it on the display unit as well (Surprisingly we didn't pick up on this when we purchased it, but it would not have stopped us from buying it anyway)
All in all, a great fridge that works well.
Electrolux cant "Handle it", 4th handle replacement in less than 2 years – The handles of the fridge are held in place by an extremely small screw, since purchasing the fridge for over $2K we have had to have 4 handle changes on the fridge handles. The technician has come out 3 times and checked everything and even played around with the suction parts but no luck. The Fridge is now just out of warranty, I'm trying to get… Read more
a hold of Electrolux customer service team but have been hold for over an hour. Have researched online and it seems it is a reoccurring issue with most of these fridges and this specific handle. With all the online examples plus my experience will be contacting ACCC next, not good enough, you cannot sell a product that is below par and follow it up with poor customer service.
Terrible fridge – We bought the fridge approx 2 years ago from Harvey Norman. The fridge handle pulled off after three months. Apart from being noisy (which we can handle) first the fridge, then freezer, stopped working about 2 months ago. Repair guy came out twice, fixed the fridge and then again to fix the freezer. Now the fridge has stopped working again after 2… Read more
weeks!!!! I am so frustrated and disappointed with this fridge, I just really regret spending so much money on something that has proved to be such a fail. The one star is pretty much because it looks ok.
Electrolux refrigerator – We bought a new Electrolux EBE5307BC-R fridge this week from Harvey Norman. We were required to fit the two door handles ourselves and instructions are included together with an allen key. The allen key is so soft and flexible, and the allen screws so stiff that it was extremely difficult to tighten the door handles to the fridge, resulting in the… Read more
thread of the screw being stripped, meaning that the door handle will never be properly tight to the door. Very disappointed with both HN and Electrolux. I recommend that anybody buying an Electrolux fridge insists beforehand that the fridge is fully installed by the vendor.
Got to get rid of it – Great design etc. BUT the high frequency noise from the motor is like torture. Have spoken to Electrolux on three separate occasions and they have sent out a service person to have a look at the fridge. Only had it a month!!!! The last service man could hear a noise but in him it was feint. I sometimes turn off the fridge at the wall to stop… Read more
hearing that high-pitched noise. I suggested that they just swap it over for another one. Fair call I thought.
Service department not too keen on that idea. In fact they told me to go back to the place of purchase under cooling off period, to get it changed. Really, great, NOT. Did go Back to the store I purchased it from and they were more than helpful. Gave them copies of the invoices I received from Electrolux. They are going to go to Electrolux on my behalf to see if I can get a replacement or refund.
Only recommended for people hard of hearing
18 months and all is well – First time i have bought a bottom mount and its convenient and efficient. I would not go back to the conventional design. This fridge is relatively quiet. All food held within is maintained to appropriate temperatures so i have not made any adjustments between seasons. Most people will have an issue with the vacuum seal that the door makes when… Read more
its closed. If you try and open the door within 30 seconds then you feel like the handle will break. I thought this might be a deal breaker but I found that the top corner lip of the door could be used to easily open the door using two fingers, without using the handle and that is how we open it now. If you let the closed door "rest" for 30 seconds then the door handle is no problem as an opening mechanism, it just takes that time for the suction seal to dissipate. I even consider this to be a feature if you have small children who continually want to open and close the door.
Noisiest fridge I've used so far! – This fridge is the noisiest fridge I've used. Before this fridge, I've used LG, Hitachi, Panasonic. Switching to Electrolux is one big mistake. The constant hissing, swirling, chirping noise generated is unbearable and gets noisier and noisier. It wasn't as noisy when I got it but now almost a year, the noise is progressing. One of the reason… Read more
I chose this fridge was the low noise decibel rating in the specification, thus not truthful.
This issue has since been resolved after a tech personnel came and replaced a fan and removed a valve. I really appreciate the support of Electrolux warranty.

Good fridge & fast chilling – We bought this fridge just over a year ago from Bing Lee. I am really happy with it. It’s really spacious and has an additional chill draw which is good for cheese and deli meats. The fruit/draw is a decent size as well. It has multiple settings so if you want to chill drinks fast you can. The freeze draws are good, although it doesn’t look big you can fit a lot in there. It is aesthetically pleasing and it’s well in my kitchen. Show details

Disappointed - fridge doesn't last – Bought this fridge three years ago. After a few months the handle of the fridge came off and smacked my partner in the face resulting in him walking around with a black eye for a week. The door seal is so tight that the fridge is hard to open via door handle. Recently the sensor that senses if the fridge needs to run its defrost program broke,… Read more
resulting in a warm fridge, hundreds of dollars repair costs and loss of a week's worth of groceries. I didn't receive a response when getting in touch with customer service about it. It's also tricky to remove all the shelves for cleaning. Very disappointing customer service and a fridge that breaks after 3 years just isn't good enough. 1 star for the generally beautiful and practical and high quality design of the shelves and fridge itself.
Beautiful Fridge – Purchased our fridge from Harvey Norman who provided an excellent deal. They delivered the fridge on time and with care. The fridge works very well and we are very happy with it. I read a number of reviews before buying it and I have to say it is better than the fisher and paykel equivalent. It’s quiet and love how the door needs a nudge to close,… Read more
this is great as new fridges create a suction once closed as the warm air contracts making it a little difficult to reopen immediately, especially if you just need to get the milk out for a few seconds to add to ones coffee! The interior is also superior to its rivals. Highly recommend this product.
Doesn't get cold enough and the temperature readout is woefully inaccurate. Really poor for a top of the line fridge – The fridge isn't cold enough. I noticed all of our food wasn't lasting as long as it was in our old fridge, so I put two different thermometers inside the fridge and found out that the fridge was sitting at around 6-7 degrees at best. This prompted a service call from Electrolux and they replaced the fan, this didn't make any difference. The… Read more
second service call involved the service technician changing the temperature setting of the fridge to it's lowest setting of 1 degree, it now sits around 4-5 degrees and 'all good' according to them, now the fridge isn't in 'eco mode' if that makes any difference to the way it runs, I don't know. If you wanted the fridge any cooler, tough luck, 1 degree is as low as it goes, which means 4-5 degrees for us
Because of the location of the hinge pivot on the door and the fridge being located in a purpose built refrigerator opening in the cabinetry, the door hits the wall and wont open up enough to allow the crisper draws to fully extend, meaning you can't comfortably get to the back of the draws. To remove them for cleaning (because the draws have an insert that food can get in between) the fridge needs to be wheeled all the way out and had now damaged my hardwood floors.
Even though the fridge is over a year old now, I'm thinking I might need to take this up with consumer affairs, as it's just not working as it should.

Great fridge – I’m very happy with this fridge. Well designed shelving, it doesn’t freeze my vegetables like my old fridge did, maintains its temperature and it’s energy efficient. It’s quiet too. Very happy with this purchase. There are slightly cheaper fridges in this size in other brands but the energy efficiency of this model won me over. Show details
Very happy with it – Love the shelving space and how fresh it keeps the food, particularly fruits and vegetables. The ice maker is a fantastic feature and I love how it fills itself! Small downside is the freezer drawers do not offer a lot of depth and frozen items tend to be crammed in and the water dispenser tap is quite narrow so it does take a bit to fill up a water bottle. Overall very impressed with it's functionality after having it for about a month
Very satisfied – I am vary satisfied with this product and it has been very economical for me to have it. It is a very high quality product and there has been no issues with it. Show details
Most disappointing purchase ever – The worst decision on a fridge we have made and we've had a few in our life. The door stops about 20cm before closing unless extra pressure used. You cant just give it the usual nudge. I have had many fridges in my life time and this is a real problem as fridge often stays open. I have since taken note of other fridges at friends houses etc and… Read more
cant find any that are as hard to close. Technician came over and said 'that is how it's made'! Left my husband to see him. I would not have accepted that conclusion. Phoned again and the turse answer from customer service department was that they can send another technician but I may be presented with a $145 call out fee. We are about to embark on a airbnb business and as much as we can no doubt get used to using extra preassure to close door (most of the time) but what about others that are not used to having to use extra preassure? Defrosted and days of fridge being left open. Come on Electrolux, we trusted your reputation!
Best Edition to our kitchen – We have had the fridge for 3 months now and it has been incredible. The temperature is consistent and easily modifiable if we need it to be colder for an evening etc. The features are very useful especially the quick ice feature. Really love the bottom mount. wide to pull the draws out, you can't just open it a little bit and grab something quickly but it's nothing that detracts from the quality of the fridge. Really really impressed.
Works ok, not great to clean – Overall, I’m pretty happy with the performance of the fridge. It’s a bit noisy, but it does its job and I love the freezer set-up (I’ve only ever had bottom-mount fridges before). However, I’m not sure that the person(s) who designed it has ever cleaned a fridge. 1. The drawers themselves don’t seem to be fully removable but are part of an… Read more
integrated unit. I hope there’s a trick to removing them and it’s possible, but so far I haven’t learned it and I’m scared to force it unless I break something. If they’re not fully removable, who thought this was a good idea?
2. There’s a plastic insert/liner inside the large drawer which would be easy to clean separately if I could get the damn thing out, but since the drawers don’t come out of the unit, it’s impossible. I hope it really does come out and there’s a trick to this too, otherwise, what’s the point of having it? If so, it shouldn’t be so difficult to remove it.
3. The veggie crisper drawer doesn’t pull the whole way out even with the door as wide open as it will go. For a quick wipe-out, I have to pull the door compartment where I keep the milk and tall bottles off the fridge door completely so I can pull the drawer out fully.
4. The milk compartment is the only one I’m able to remove comfortably. Once the door compartments are on, they don’t want to shift if you want to take them out and clean them properly. I don’t want to force the issue unless they break. I think they were designed with those little silicone mats so you just take those out and wash them, which is not good enough.
I was looking at a different fridge when I bought this one, and I’m sorry I chose the Electrolux. I’m giving three stars, because it does work, but the design and functionality leaves a lot to be desired, for me. An expensive mistake.
PS. I see it’s been discontinued. I’d be interested to see if any of my bugbears have been addressed in the new model.
PSS. I’ve just noticed cracks in the plastic lining of the fridge near the ledge at the rear where the drawers slide into. For a fridge that was bought less than six months ago, not great. Lowered the rating for build quality accordingly.

Good but noisy – I mainly chose this fridge because of its size, style and energy rate. I am happy with these parameters, but since it was delivered, it had a permanent unusual noise and it wasn't the most silent fridge. after a month it started to whistle continuously and I became sure that this is not normal, so I called the service center and the technician… Read more
came a week after and changed the fan. Now all noises are gone and it works like a normal fridge. I didn't expect to change a part for a 1month old fridge. The other problem is the door, sometimes it is too hard to open as it sucks the air hardly. also when you want to close it you need to push it to a certain point. you can not just let it go, even with perfect leveling. overall it is an average Fridge and temperature is reliable
This fridge is exactly what we needed. The only reliable one in its class in the market – I initially bought the Westinghouse WBE5360SA and it was making noise like a tractor. That fridge was a must avoid. So I asked appliances online to replace it with an Electorlux EBE5367SA. Thanks god! this is much of a better fridge.
